Investment › Re: No One Is Coming To Save You! Do This If You Don't Want To Cry Tomorrow by Powerbandooo: 3:23pm On Dec 11, 2025 |
damiloladuke: Let me be honest with you. No one is coming to save you. Not your parents, not the government, not some random windfall. Your financial security depends entirely on what you're building right now.
Yes, miracles happen. Some people win the lottery or inherit money. But banking your future on luck is like hoping to get struck by lightning. It's possible, but would you bet your life on it?
The good news is that you don't need a miracle when you have a plan. Starting with just N5,000 or N10,000 naira monthly can change your entire financial trajectory. I'm not talking about getting rich overnight. I'm talking about building real, lasting wealth that gives you options and freedom.
Today, I made some profit from cryptocurrency trading. You know what I did? I immediately moved N50,000 naira into my mutual funds investment. That's the move. Every time you get extra money, whether it's from a side gig, a bonus, or investment gains, take at least 20% and add it to your long term investments. Then look away and let it grow.
There are legitimate platforms out there that are regulated and insured by government agencies like the Securities and Exchange Commission and Nigeria Deposit Insurance Commission. Places where your money is protected and working for you. The information is available. The tools are ready. The only thing stopping you is inaction.
You can't blame anyone if you're sitting on this information and doing nothing with it. Five years from now, you'll either thank yourself for starting today or regret that you kept postponing.
Your 20s are your power years. This is when time is your biggest advantage. The compound interest you earn over the next ten to twenty years will do more for your wealth than anything else. Don't be discouraged by the little returns of the starting years, it will only get better.
Don't wait for the perfect moment. Don't wait until you're earning more. Don't wait until you fully understand everything. Start small, stay consistent, and learn as you go.
Your future self is depending on the choices you make today. Make them count.

Crime › Re: A 16 Year Boy Arrested For Stabbing Neighbor To Death In Enugu by Powerbandooo: 12:46pm On Dec 10, 2025 |
obagofizzy: A shocking incident has thrown an Enugu community into deep mourning after a 16-year-old boy, identified as Chinonso Ejike, allegedly stabbed his 35-year-old neighbor, Esther ljeoma Obasi, to death in cold blood. The heartbreaking event occurred after the kindhearted woman reportedly offered the teenager food because he was hungry_and his mother was not at home. How the Tragedy Happened According to eyewitness accounts and preliminary police investigations, the boy had gone to the woman's house earlier in the day to ask for food. Out of compassion, she cooked and served him a meal. However, just a few hours later, Chinonso allegedly returned to her residence armed with a knife. He reportedly stabbed her eight to nine times, leaving her in a pool of blood. After she collapsed, he dragged her body to a bushy area behind the compound and attempted to hide it in a swamp. Neighbors raised an alarm when they noticed the suddenly disappearance of the woman. Suspect Confesses Motive Upon his arrest, the 16-year-old suspect reportedly confessed that he killed the woman as part of a requirement to gain promotion within a cult group he had joined. The confession has sparked deep outrage, with many questioning how a teenager could be involved in such violent cult activities. Community in Shock Residents are devastated by the gruesome killing, describing the late Esther as a peaceful, generous woman who often helped neighbors. Many expressed disbelief that an act of kindness ended in such a cruel and senseless tragedy. "Sixteen years old? God have mercy. This is heartbreaking," a community member lamented. Police Begin Full Investigation The Enugu State Police Command has confirmed the arrest and has launched a full investigation. The suspect is currently in detention and will be charged to court after the conclusion of the investigation. Just making content out of your head, continue, 16 year boy, even eye witness sef dey inside the parlour where he stab am, My people in the zoo sabi lie ehh |

yomifowe: Dear Parents
TEACH YOUR DAUGHTERS THAT There are five (5) important dresses a woman should wear in her lifetime.
These are:
1. School uniform 2. Matriculation gown 3. Graduation gown 4. Wedding gown 5. Maternity gown
Let your daughters know that if any girl skips the 2nd dress, she will not get to wear the 3rd.
Daughters must not rush to wear the 5th just because a man has promised them the 4th.
More so, the 4th fits better and more prestigious if worn before the 5th.
Our daughters must learn to wait and follow the dress pattern from 1 to 5.
Be a good parent and leader.
We have this as a responsibility to our children as parents and it is very important.
May God help us. Amen! My babe jump from 2 after 1 to 5 Sweetest girl I will not leave for any man, or else I go cry😂😂 |
Romance › Re: The Many Contentious Issues I Am Having With My Girlfriend by Powerbandooo: 10:18am On Nov 26, 2025 |
DeclanR: From my DM:
Good morning sir, please I need your advice and that of your followers too.
I met a young lady of 27years old just three months ago.
I met her at a photo studio where she works. Got her number, kept in touch with her for like a month, and I decided to express my feelings to her. She accepted to date me.
But here are some contentious Issues between us.
— She's a single mother of a 6yr old lady. The baby lives somewhere else while my babe lives alone in a rented apartment. Her parents are Divorced. And the dad remarried. Her six year old baby lives there. But dating a single Mum isn't really the issue for me, as long as she loves me and has a good character.
— She pierced her nose and has a nose ring. I didn't complain.
— She has a Legchain and I'm not comfortable with this. I've asked her to remove it, but she said she can't remove it. I feel responsible ladies shouldn't be putting on legchains. This is a lady I do all my best to ensure she's happy. I support her with the little I can. The public image of ladies who use legchains isn't appealing to the society at all.
— She can't allow me access to her phone. She said her phone is her Privacy. Yes her phone is actually her privacy, no doubt. But why is her body not her privacy as well? If I can see her unclothedness, then why can't I see her phone. She's always so Glued to her phone, if I need to get something from her phone, maybe music or movies, she can't release it to me. If she's showing me anything from the phone, she will still hold the phone and be showing me . Truth is, I'm not comfortable with that. If there's nothing to hide, then, I see no reason for hiding her phone always. I told her I'm not the only guy she's dating but she keeps denying it. Well, do I even expect her to Agree? All the ladies I've dated, I try to check their phones from time to time especially when they least expected. I wouldn't just say give me your phone, I want to probe you. There were ways I would get the phone from them respectfully. If some police officers turn up at my place and want to search my apartment, I will gladly open it for them because I know there is nothing incriminating in my apartment. But if I have a skeleton in my cupboard, I wouldn't allow them search it, even if they have their search warrants.
I gave her this illustration . There is a reason her baby daddy is not with her Since you don't want to have sense, let us give you one, But no, yeye love will not make you leave her |

Daejumong: Pastor Steve Ogah (Bishop Oyedepo’s daughter’s husband) celebrates 40th birthday. He is the Global National Youth Pastor of Living Faith Church(Winners Chapel)!
Food for thought - Would Steve have been made Global National Youth Pastor if he wasn’t married to the Bishop’s daughter? - Was he really the most qualified for the position? - Why do many American and African Pastors like to place their kids/inlaws/families in top positions in their churches ? - Jesus handed over to Peter and not His siblings! He said people who do the will of His father are His family.
Matthew 12:46-50 46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

omamistudio: As a secondary school leaver, my mum suggested I learn a skill while awaiting admission into the university. Honestly, I thought it was good idea because sitting at home all day since graduation had become so boring to me and also, as a video game lover, I really wanted to learn 3D animation. "Junior", my mum called one afternoon. "Have you decided on the skill that you want to learn?" "Yes mum", I replied. "I want to learn 3D animation, I said. My mum gave me a very hard stare and then asked " 3D animation Keh? What happened to tailoring, mechanic or even barbing?" I fell silent for a moment but I stood my ground and told her that I didn't want to learn any of the skills she mentioned.
" No problem na. There are other lucrative skills you can choose from", she said. Despite this, I stood my grounds and told her that I wasn't interested in any of them because I didn't have passion for them. She then asked me how I intended on learning my desired skill since we didn't know any studio that ventured in any if that here in Benin."
I will use the laptop I won for having the 2nd best results in my school and take an online course at Omami studio Port Harcourt. They offer full courses in 3D animation, video editing, UI/UX design and lots more. They offer their services in all parts of Nigeria, whether you are in Abuja, Lagos, Osun, Kogi etc, they are able to teach the required skill sets needed to learn 3D animation", I explained this while watching my mum nodding mid sentences. I think I was able to convince her because she gave me the money to register for the course and I think that's the best thing that has happened to me since You made a very good decision You mate will be thinking of one university that has nothing to offer in the future only exposure |

I literally trekked to school for a long time just to save N850 which I used to purchase the game. This was in 1996. My house became a theatre, always filled with friends until Popsy seized the game and asked me to concentrate on my books. If you get this game console that year, you be sabi pikin.

RevenuesBoost: The first day of the last quarter of the year feels like a fresh page, yet with a sense of urgency.
It’s that moment when you pause and realize: the year is winding down. Three-quarters of your story for this year have already been written, but there’s still one chapter left. And sometimes, the last chapter is what gives the whole book its meaning.
It’s a time for reflection—looking back at what you’ve done, the promises you made in January, the plans you’ve half-kept or set aside. But it’s also a season of renewed energy. You still have three full months to re-align, to finish strong, to prove to yourself that the year hasn’t passed you by.
Think of it as a race where the last lap matters most. Even if you stumbled earlier, you can gather strength and sprint now. The last quarter is a gift—an opportunity to turn “I wish I had” into “I’m glad I did.”
So today isn’t just another day—it’s the beginning of the last chance this year gives you to write the ending you’ll be proud of.
Happy New Month! The tattoo husband Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassaa |
