SportsRe: Nigeria Will Never Have Another Okocha by Powerbandooo: 3:36pm On Jul 16
motymop:
it is sad but true, Nigeria will never have another okocha

Look at argentina, there was Alfredo Di Stéfano, Maradona and now Messi and the reason is simple, the early generation inspired the other generation, it is football lecacy

here in Nigeria, we had Okocha, home grown and sent abroad, forward to 2026, we have not produce another Okocha because we dont invest in the youth since we dont invest in them, we have started looking out to Europeanised and americanised Nigerians who have no attachement to Nigeria or its culture to come play for us

They bring their western style of football and then destroy our creative and stlyish football killing the OKOCHA in many kids that watch them

Now everyone thinks football is all about speed and passing the ball all over the place or from one end to another instead of being creative, taking risk and banging awsome goals to entertain the crowd.

RomanceRe: Is This A Woman's Biggest Fear? by Powerbandooo: 5:47pm On Jul 15
Goo0dHardDick:
It pains me alot when I see men misbehaving for women. Double texting, double calling, acting desperately and becoming all emotional just because a woman didn't respond or give them attention.

Dude, after this explanation, you'll understand that you're the prize and you'll know your worth. Now let's start.

Women wants commitment from men, and men wants sex from women! A woman's greatest fear is seeing the man she likes but he isn't committed to her. He just has sex with her and go just like every other guy. Now, what women want is far more than what we men want from them. Sex is everywhere and men can get it easily from anywhere. There are hookup girls, clubs, pay as you go etc. but you see commitment? It is not everywhere!

women know this very well and that's exactly why they do everything possible to hook a man to commit to them. When you commit to a woman, you'll instantly become responsible for her life! Her problems immediately becomes yours! You're to provide, clothes, feed, accommodate etc. her financial problem will be yours, even in the bedroom, you need to satisfy her. Do you know the stress that comes with Commitment? This is why Most girls are single today! Not because they're not seeing men but because they're not seeing the ones who will be committed to them.

And after the whole dating saga, he then goes ahead to marry her by paying her bride price, waste thousands and millions of naira in organizing for the marriage and if the girl isn't looking healthy in the man's house, her family will call the man and accuse the man of maltreating their daughter.

Please men I beg you in the name of God, you're the prize! Women need you far more than you need them. Start acting like the prize that you are! Don't ever double text, call or misbehave over any women. If any girl stresses you, next her, plays hard to get? next! Play games? Next her! Even in your relationship you're doing doing everything which a girl will never do for you. My brother you're the prize! Start acting like it
Are you the fair guy on Facebook, that always give advice, you copy his word as the same he speaks

Certification And Training AdvertsRe: How I Discovered A Simple Way To Start Earning In Dollars With Youtube by Powerbandooo: 1:09pm On Jul 08
DylanWrites:
The dollar rate is now over ₦1,500+, and many Nigerians are looking for ways to earn online.

What if I told you that you don't need to be famous, show your face, or own expensive equipment before making money on YouTube?

I recently discovered a YouTube Income Generator training that teaches:

✅ How to create YouTube channels from your phone
✅ How to find profitable niches that pay in dollars
✅ How to create videos even if you're camera shy
✅ How to monetize through YouTube Ads, affiliate marketing, and sponsorships
✅ How to build a channel that can generate income for months and years

This opportunity is perfect for:

✔ Students
✔ Job seekers
✔ Workers looking for extra income
✔ Anyone who wants to earn in dollars online

Imagine making an extra $500-$1,000 monthly while living in Nigeria.

Success won't happen overnight, but learning a valuable digital skill can open new opportunities and create additional income streams. Many people are now exploring YouTube and digital content creation as a business model.

Be talking rubbish there, because one of your own is doing well in life , bring 1000 lecturers in Nigeria, you will rarely see 20 that are really successful, not the one packaging or living averagely well on the surface thinking they are doing well

HealthRe: "Never Suck Out Snake Venom!" - Pediatrist Dr Odera Nwankwo by Powerbandooo: 4:19pm On Jul 04
Originalsly:
This guy isn't serious. The lady from Abuja been rushed from hospital to hospital ... no antidote .. died. Do hospitals have antidotes for the various snake bites? It seems as though he doesn't even understand how venom spreads . Any snake bite should be treated with urgency. Snake bite is nothing new ... hospitals are. Not saying one must not be rushed to a hospital... if it's minutes away... yes ... and hope for the best. If not... emergency methods ... and sucking out the venom or as much as possible is one ... less venom to enter the blood stream. A tourniquet... first thing... to cut off blood flow and restrict the poison from circulating. He should say what is wrong with that . The person is bitten in the foot... the person should be kept in a standing position... or foot down for the same reason... restrict blood flow and circulation. If possible... heat should be applied .. as in wrapping the affected area with a hit water rag... as hot as possible.... heat can break down the poison... making it less toxic. If the venom is the type that attacks the nervous system ... the victim really needs attention immediately... that one don't waste time. This is the little I know ... and there are others that know a whole lot more . Don't be fooled by "doctor" title ... doesn't seem like this one earned his
Can I ask a question
In emergency cases like this,
Which should come first
Is sucking out the venom or applying the use of tourniquet

i have nothing against doctors but this practise of sucking out snake poison have been in existence since ages

but the doctors came and want to change that practise because no one was coming to their door

then they use fear and everyone start running to them, the practise died and the doctor made more money

do doctors really care about their patient or care about the money
Can you share a local way to avoid such situations apart from sucking it out
What the doctor said is easier said than done, healthcare in Nigeria, the chance of they having an antivenom is low

The soup was very rich and thick but she could only cook a small portion. So we only ate it for breakfast.

We had sweet potatoes and oil for lunch which was also prepared by my lovely wife.

Well, this is more of your medical opinion than substantiated facts.

Snake bites are not a recent thing... Before medical care got to this stage of advancement, snake bites occurred, and people still survived by doing some of these things you are condemning.

Not saying he is wrong... Just don't think he is fully correct, especially when you are dealing with highly venomous bites with a severely short window of survival and medical care is far away.
Bro can u give a laydown manual way of treating it, because wetin that man talk is not realistic, it is easier said than done

What would you do if you or someone close to you was bitten by a venomous snake? Would you know the right first aid to give, or could your actions make the situation even worse?

Dr. Odera Nwankwo, a Pediatric Intensivist and Associate Professor of Pediatrics, has shared simple but life-saving advice on how to help a snakebite victim before they get to the hospital.

He explained that some snakebites cause local symptoms, such as pain, swelling, and redness around the bite, while others allow the venom to spread throughout the body. When this happens, it can become a medical emergency and may even be fatal if treatment is delayed.

According to Dr. Nwankwo, the victim should be kept calm, the affected arm or leg should be kept as still as possible, the head should be properly supported, and firm pressure may be applied over the bite area where appropriate. He stressed that the victim should be taken to the nearest hospital immediately for proper medical care.

He also warned against common mistakes that many people make after a snakebite. These include trying to suck out the venom with the mouth, cutting the bite with a knife, or tying a tight tourniquet around the affected limb. He said these actions can make the injury worse instead of helping.

Dr. Nwankwo urged the public to treat every suspected venomous snakebite as a medical emergency and seek professional treatment as quickly as possible.
Must the person be carried to the hospital?
Cant the person work by themselves, if it is only you at the scene,
Won't there be any effect?
RomanceRe: My Observations About Ladies Who Have Passed Their Prime . by Powerbandooo: 1:51pm On Jul 03
Toolegit123:
Good dey everyone here.

It's me again, sad. The young man whose fiancee just broke up with without any reasonable reason sad

But now,I've gone into the dating pool fully again and my observations of ladies of nowadays is sometimes I'd really like to discuss here, with you my brethren.

First and foremost,I must really say that relationship in Nigeria has become transactional and it seems ladies now go into relationship with the mentality of being fed and taken of.

Recently, after my first date with the 27years old lady ended abruptly and chaotic,I decided to go for an older one.

The new lady I met,a lady in her early 30s, precisely 31 years old was nothing to write home about sad. Imagine a lady at that age bracket having the mentality that --"men are everywhere" that she doesn't have to respect me simply because I'm in a relationship with her. She's rude and ill mannered. The worst part of it all was that she was into idol worshipping and not only her,but her entire family sad

Though I had almost fallen in love with her but whenever I remembered how my previous relationship ended badly,I had to clean my slippers and ran for my dear life.

Funny thing is that, how can a lady of her age with more than 4 body counts still have that mentality that "men are everywhere",when in reality no man would want to end up with a woman of that age who has bad character sad

Finally, I've made up my mind. And for now, I'll only be considering 18-23 years old girls. I won't mind if I spend my money on her after all she's still a baby who will someday outgrow her childish behaviors. Unlike the ones who have crossed the bridge of their prime.

So,my fellow Nairalanders, what do you guys have to say to me, about the age of the ladies I'm considering? Hope I'm not about to make a wrong decision?

Mussolini77:
I moved to the city with my family(wife and child) last year and we sold some of our properties to fund the move and because we won’t be needing some of them anymore due to us downsizing our accommodation, where we got was a little far from the main road and made her resuming her business a difficulty and later down the month I had to resign at work to come stay at home with her due to a incident of theft that happened while I was away and her phone was stolen, I replaced it but I haven’t had the time to work because she said she couldn’t stay there alone.
The problem now is she wants us to downsize and move to a costlier side of the city and this will involve selling my properties again to fund the move and this is really getting me depressed. The only difference in her suggestion is the proximity to a better neighborhood but it will still be same cost of transportation and I will be able to go and work as mostly my work do not allow me the privilege of staying home or coming home to her everyday. I’m really at a crossroad as selling this valuables not only hard to replace but also depressing especially whenever she visit her friends and talks about what they have which most of the time are what we had but sold off

Dare devil couple wearing black were taken into custody by the police after they climbed to the very top of the Empire State Building, unfurled a banner in what has never been seen marriage proposal!

The couple, have been identified as Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus!

They were seen holding a pro-peace banner at the very top of the spire. It appeared to read, "When the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace."

It was not immediately clear how the two daredevils got into position to free climb the metal structure that services the spire, without rope but their bare hands!

After spending some time at the top, where the man goes down on his knees and proposes, they hug and kissed

The couple started climbing down a short time later.

Police officers who climbed up the spire, met the two and placed them into custody just before 1 p.m.

The building spire is 1,454 feet above the ground.

Police said the banner has been recovered. The Empire State Building's rules prohibit masks and costumes.
