Thank you for your question. The strategy we proffer utilizes past question papers as guide. Rather than embarking on mission impossible to seek out the previous CBT questions, we encourage applicants to study the public health textbook and solve the genuine paper based past questions to have a good grasp of the examination. Although, from experience, these questions are quite similar to the CBT in terms of what is being tested, we do not encourage memorizing past questions. So please, join us today.

Unilag MSc Public Health - if you're giving it a thought already.

Whether you were told or a small voice inside of you keeps suggesting that you should add the Masters in Public Health from the University of Lagos to your arsenal of credentials, be rest assured that it is not the devil speaking, it is an angel nudging you to a brighter future. Not only will you be tutored by some of the most brilliant minds in the field of Public Health (one of such is Prof. Oshinbogun, keep that name at the back of your mind), you will also be an alumnus of the University of first choice and nation's pride (Numero uno in Nigeria according to UNIRANK). However, you need to get in first don't you? That's why I'm here. Having successful passed through the program myself, I can tell you what 99.9% of applicants never know before the program. Stuffs like what you need to understand about the program before you even apply, how to prepare for the entrance exam, how to succeed and make the best of the program, how to avoid pit holes that many students never recover from in the first semester and many more. In a minute, let me share with you my story.

I first applied for MSc PH in 2013. I was bored after service and like most people, the next idea was a masters degree. So, I got the form, submitted, bought past questions, then forgot about it until the date of examination was announced. after that, I practiced a bit and went for the examination. lo and behold my people, I failed woefully! Why did I fail? First, there are about 95 million people like me who applied for the same course. Obviously, that's an exaggeration but the number of applicants was outrageous for a course that could admit less than 500 people for both PT and Full time combined. cannot just admit us all. Secondly, the examination totally in the field of public health which I wasn't familiar with. I cannot remember doing any related course in my undergraduate days. Coupled with that, there was no time to think during the examination. Imagine answering 60 unfamiliar questions in 50 minutes. The exam do me anyhow I no go lie, and my hard earned 20k.. e pain me walahi. As someone that never gives up easily, I slept and woke for 3 years before getting motivated to try again.

In 2015, I tried again. This time wiser and more determined. I bought past questions, got the text book, joined a group and started preparing early before the examination date was announced. The PQ helped but the textbook did the magic for me. It gave me a general overview about public health, one thing that helped me beyond the entrance exam stage. I also enjoyed the herd effect; studying with people who had the same goal as mine. And guess what, this time I passed! However, when I got in, I became aware that... chai, you like story too much. That's a story for another day anyway.

Well, since then, I've helped several people apply similar strategies in order to get into the program. This year, I'm doing the same. When you buy our MSc Public Health PQ package (comes with the textbook), you'll be added to a group I created where I'll share more information about
