Read your logic slowly. You would have abandoned your exams (apparently your future) to go be with your sick father in the hospital? And here you blame a guy for feeling groggy at the death of his friend . Funny world! Whose fault now, your father who said you shouldn't be told or the unfortunate guy who was told a sad story on his wife's "day"?
My dear let me tell you something about men, maybe that friend made him who he is financially today, maybe that friend has done more for him than that woman that wants to claim him. Men have attachment nature, women don't seem to have that much. It's in men to respect whoever has made their lives good, and canceling the wedding wasn't going to be too much for any guy. But like I said, I wouldn't have canceled that wedding, only I would have gone terribly low key. But truth be told, the guy didn't cancel the wedding. Read the OP initial post with clean logical mind.

I've just read it again and I find it quite to the point. Perhaps the words that I used were beyond your vocabulary. I was just being succinct, but I had already said what they mean in an earlier post, but using more 'simpler' words:

When I was younger I did same, loved to throw words around and believed I was enjoying myself. I even marvel at how you almost sounded like me "Succinct". But you ain't got great words, go back to your thesaurus and get some more.
There's one more thing, it's good you're satisfied with your views, but it's equally childish that you think it's the only view around town . A one way world for babies, isn't it? A salacious pedant would therefore twist meanings in order to justify his base passions. Such as justifying tithing. And lying that Matt 23 vs 23 justifies the tithing fraud that is going on today.

Actually my points were exactly that your posts were full of mendacity and salacious pedantry. And I suspect that this is because of the state of your soul. Now you might find that a bit personal, but it is hard to separate what someone writes and the personality of the person.

I just quoted you above to let you read what you wrote. Read it as if someone else wrote it. Are you learning new words everyday or just the normal childish impulse to fill everywhere with words. Reexamine your language is all I advice, it won't be useful if I start out with your kind of words, it can only mess the entire purpose of the thread. A thread is started so that people can bring in differing opinions, if opinions were to be the same then discussion would be unnecessary.

As for explaining Scripture, if you find my explanation unsatisfactory, it's because you have a different view of it. I have learned over the years that point of view does not amount to total disagreement, it simply means you're in the north while I occupy the south. Enjoy your views as long as you're satisfied with them, but don't bully another to accept them whole or he'll be labeled pedantic, salacious, and ehr. . . mendacious.

For your current misgivings about anti-matter, maybe you should consider dark matter. The universe is estimated to be 90% dark matter and it is one hell of an undetectable (so far as I know) thing but it is there or everything points to its existence. At worst, it is a constant ncessary for astronomical (I mean space stuff) calculations to be correct and conform to Newtonian physics and the theories of relativity. Maybe this would be a worthy direction for your comparisons with spirit form even though I don't buy that either.

But there is something I can't place my fingers on in the comment above. How can something be undetectable and still out there. That means assumptions created it then and once an assumption is overthrown, the entire house comes down like soaked bread. My views is that science should not be built on such assumptions, unless it's not science, for the nature of the word "Scientia" rejects frivolous assumptions.

Most of them have robot feelings. They feel only what the electric impulse put in their memory, and that's usually not much. Canceling the wedding would have been good idea, but I personally would have held it in VERY low key, just to give the lady her day (since they believe it belongs to them alone). But for those calling for the guy to brave it and move on just like that have little that might appeal to my kind of person.
We're all different though.

I am not sure exactly what you are saying? No one denies that these things are possible by the power of God. What I require is proof that it happened. It should be easy ehough to show the previous and subsequent medical histories of the boy in question.
Please refer to Luke 24 verse 39 "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see, for a spirit hath not flesh and bones as ye see me have" This was Jesus talking to his Disciples when he appeared to them after the ressurection. They were afraid as any man would be today if such a thing were to happen. The significance of this is that Jesus did not simply castigate them for their reaction. Rather, he invited them to touch him so as to prove that he ressurected in the flesh. Proof.

Creation is a miracle in itself. I do not think anyone should judge a church by signs and wonders but if you are truly annointed and you perform a miracle, I believe it should be subjected to scrutiny. Afterall it is not by your power.

I have never investigated any of the miracles, but I think there is enough information for anyone who wants to investigate. If no one is investigating, it's because they don't want to validate the miracle in any church and thereby inadvertently draw crowd the them.
I was viewing one Christ Embassy program sometime ago and the guy that was healed said his full address. I also learned that they always say the addresses of people that were healed for anyone to verify. At least I saw that one and no human can convince me against it. Let anyone that wants to investigate follow it up and publish their report. It won't hurt so many people in the end. Refusal to investigate might also be deliberate attempt to disconfirm.

But finally I know that argument is useless, worst of all unintelligible when the parties don't share a common ground. I have always found it difficult to see a common ground between Christians and Muslims. Even the idea of God in both religions are different.
While one believes in a benevolent Father with whom he communicates everyday, the other believes in abstract Existence, which concept is very difficult for the other to conceive.
Everyday I hear that the problem between Christians and Muslims is just about the Trinity. That's laughable nonsense. The difference is deeper.
For instance the Hebrew scripture writes: "Sheckem Yisrael, Elohim Adonai, Elohim echad". Meaning "The Lord God, The Lord is one". Christians don't refuse that concept, it's so in the Bible. The problem is the mis-conceptualization of the whole Christian experience by their Muslim counterparts. One day every soul shall know the truth for even the Lord Himself will reveal it to every man individually.

I think your points will stand out when you throw those insolent language to the gutters, or do they boost what you're saying? You're at liberty to form your diction though.
I was addressing someone who read my points and said I should see a doctor. He either differed with my views or was cracking one of those NL jokes and I said he's always a free thinker, then you jumped in reeling out insults again as if I was directing the talk to you. Must you always join issues you don't understand?
You can refrain from that kind of behavior while you still have time.

When error is allowed to fester, it would become a giant bulwark of ignorance. This is what Jesus said concerning the law: Matthew 5 vs 17 & 18 KJV
17 ¶ Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled

First let me say categorically that Jesus did not come to "CONFIRM" the law as the post above said, he came to "FULFILL". In fulfilling it he satisfied the requirement of the law. The Scripture says that God does not find please in sacrifices of ram and bull, but in the condition of our hearts, so Jesus came to become an ETERNAL sacrifice once for all thereby fulfilling the law.
Verse 18 of above said no part of the law shall pass till all be fulfilled. And Jesus came and fulfilled all. If I say to you that the president will not come to your state till all road is fixed, what does it mean? It means that once all roads are fixed the president comes. No part of the law shall be done away with till fulfilled and the previous verse (17) said that Jesus came to fulfill it. Having fulfilled it what next do you do with it? Jesus established grace upon earth and we are saved by the grace of God "Not of works lest any man should boast, it is the grace of God. We are saved by grace".

The same Matthew 5 says in verse 14 KJV:
14 ¶ Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.

These people quoting Scripture didn't read this, that they are not supposed to explain the Holy Scripture to me because I am the light of the world, I show them light but they prefer darkness. All the same we the Christians will continue to strife for the light of our God to be established in places of endemic darkness, so that the souls of our lost brothers and friends can be redeemed.

E=MC² is my favourite equation. Has it been disproved or people are ignoring it here. But as far as know M not equal to E/C². In order words energy cannot be made to form matter or we do not have the technology yet or I am unaware about it. Consequently, energy cannot be destroyed and matter cannot be created. In the same vein, energy can be created and matter destroyed. Anyways, this is immaterial to the discussion. Analissa talks like a scientist (are you?) and I'd like to know her views (and everyone else's) on antimatter.

The Einstein E=mc2 still valid just as all theories stay valid until a new whizkid enters the scene. But there is something bright about his position there only that the numbers are staggering.
I just want to talk about antimatter. The first time I came across this term and the meaning, I accepted it without looking into the implications for modern science. But I think that at present there is something about antimatter that is not easy to swallow. In all I've read about it I haven't seen anyone that claimed he discovered it in nature, instead it is said to annihilate itself very quickly naturally. If it does, it means that thought created it and laboratory is in the race to validate it by reproducing it. Now how do we know that what is reproduced is the exact counter of the matter or that the charge of an antiproton is negative but still have the same nature as proton except in the charge.
I accepted this concept based on the fact that almost everything I know have their opposites, so I concluded that matter might also have it's opposite. But if we consider that antimatter is as difficult to prove as spirit is, even more difficult because it's mostly unintelligible, then the reproductions in laboratories should go by any other name, or we take it that antimatter is not the EXACT opposite of matter.
There is also another position that when antimatter react with matter of equal volume total annihilation occurs but when I examined it in the light of every other opposites I know, I found that antimatter then is not an opposite but something different (which I won't give a name yet). You might know that when glycerin reacts with a mix of Nitric and Sulphoric, annihilation occurs giving out enormous energy which might be explosive if packaged in conducive way.
