it wasn't really cliche ... They were more like back stories of each character.... Notice that the character whose back story started the episode was going to die before the episode was over.

OK finished juuni tensai yesterday.....nice anime,fight scenes I'd say 7/10....but their intro whenever they want to fight is not necessary I think.
