I'll like to know as well. When should this be taken?
Ds is 7weeks, don't think he was given at his 6weeks immunisation
The rotavirus vaccine should be taken at 6weeks and at 10weeks. It's not free... You have to pay for it (ranges from 7k - 11k) and not all hospitals/health centers have it.
However if your baby didn't take the first dose at 6weeks, he can take still take it before 15weeks and the second dose taken 4weeks after.

Any mum living in Ikorodu?

Please where can I get Rotavirus vaccine for my baby or the closest location to Ikorodu? My baby is now 10 weeks and we have a few weeks to go before the window period expires for the first one.

Thank you

I have been thinking about this for a while.
Working mothers without help, how are you coping? How was returning back to work?
How do you manage leaving home early and returning late with this Lagos traffic?
Where do you keep baby?

I just feel baby is too small to be kept in a creche. I do not have my family around neither do I have a help (sceptical about this), and I'm wondering how I would cope when it's time to resume.

I need help please.
I have noticed that my 2months old baby throws up a whole lot after breastfeeding him sometimes and other times little. This happens either when I am trying to burp or after burping him. Should I be worried?
He was 4.6kg upper week and as at Saturday, he had dropped to, 3.6kg. I was at the verge of tears when I was told.
Lastly, I need a good and affordable cream to use for him as I didn't find the coconut oil I was using at the supermarket.
Awaiting your response please. Thanks

I haven't gotten over the annoyance of being treated shabbily by the nurses there while I was in labor now I discover that they left placenta inside my body after delivery. I thank God sha that the thing came out on its own cos no need crying over spilt milk.

I had to undergo a painful evacuation process this morning to make sure there was no placenta left inside my body. Am still in birth related pains that should have ended days ago.
I have sha resolved to never have any more of my future kids in a general hospital. I will save cash and go to a competent private hospital where I will get quality treatment and nice manners from staff.
Simply thank God that you discovered it when you did. What would you have done if it wasn't discovered now? Its not about general or private hospital but having the right team of professionals on duty the day you will be needing help o.
I started my ANC in a private hospital and I never saw a gynaecologist till I changed to a general hospital when I was 8months gone. In short, it was God that took control. Even though I have said I won't be going to a general hospital again for delivery..simply bcus of the after care- gave birth thru CS and no one was allowed to stay with or assist me till I was discharged. Apart from that aspect, general hospital is good.

Thanks a lot.
I am based in Ikorodu and currently take immunization at general hospital.

Rota is not free, I don't know if it's given at hospitals. There's rota1 and rota2, you ve to ask at a private hospital. If you mention your area, mamas around u can suggest hospitals
