UNILAG insists they have not seen any mail from WES for the verification of my documents. However, WES insists they have sent it. It has been 2 months now and my application is still hanging. What can I do please?

Those centers exist because people have refused to do the work/research needed.

Are you saying she did not fill in the details when applying on the website?

I noticed the site has been down for a couple of days now...my advice is that she visits Unilag herself if you are based in Lagos or get someone in Unilag to assist. I have the contact of the woman that assisted me. Kindly mail me if you are interested in contacting her.

Thanks for willing to assist,my wife requested for transcript(Masters) to be sent to WES and 2 days after payment they requested that she provide her WES ref no and the address they are to send to but till now it's still showing processing and their site is even down now.Please how can you assist us here,all other documents are with WES already except unilag own.

I have responded. It took over 2 months before Unilag confirmed that they received the verification and another 3/4 weeks for them to respond.

there is nothing you can do other than to wait o. My Verification was over 2 months with Unilag.

You can get someone to help you fast track it whenever it drops.

Good people in the house please I need your advice. I received a mail from WES on 29th Nov 2019 that a verification mail was sent to Unilag. Till now, the school is yet to respond and when I visited the school, i was told that the mail has not been received.
I contacted WES and it was confirmed again that the verification mail was sent last year.
Please should I do? Although I was told another mail will be sent after 7weeks but what is the guaranty that the school will get it again.

The transcript is supposed to be sent from the school in a sealed envelope.

It depends - what is the name on your passport? if its your marital name, go ahead and register for WES with your marital name. As for your credentials, go ahead and do a change of name, newspaper publication as this will be needed later.

She can use her marital name for the WES and other documents (int'l passport, IELTS) then she does affidavit, change of name in newspaper publication and marriage certificate.

I am about to start this EE journey and I just created my WES account. I want to do same for my wife but I am confused as to if I should use her maiden name or my surname. We got married in September but all her previous credentials are in her maiden name.
Please I will also like advice on what should happen on the maiden name/husband's name matter as regards international passport, IELTS and the other stuffs.

Please, how do I process the Nigerian Passport for my son who is a minor using the e-system?

Do an Affidavit stating that the names belong to you.

Hello House. I've been a silent reader and i've learnt a lot through all of you, thank you. Pls i have a pressing question. Lets say my on my passport and other official documents my last name is Brown, middle name- Pinky, first name Blue. And my declaration of age document has my names in this order.... (Brown, Pinky Blue). I.e Last name, Middle name First name. Does the arrangement of first and middle names matter so much, or should i just do a new declaration?.

I think this is because the SOR has grades on it so the best bet is to have the school send it alongside the transcripts.

Hubby had same issue and this was how he resolved it.

Hello everyone, I sent my national diploma certificate and higher National diploma statement to wes, and transcripts ,everything was accepted except the statement which said "not recieved" , faxed a new one to them on 25th of nov, after changing to we are analysing new documents, it changed back to "not recieved" yesterday again, I'm sure its the correct statement of result, what do I do?

Have you visited the school because I do not understand how and why they would say they haven't seen the mail not to talk about the post?
If they require people to make payment for the verification, I am sure no one will complain as long as they do the needful.

I'm too heartbroken to even pen down a worthy context for my subject but I can't just watch without doing anything.

Today makes it exactly 3 months and 18days of waiting for Unilag to respond to WES Verification of Result. Someone inhouse is indirectly demanding for 25k.
25k for what exactly? If there is need to make payment for verifications then the university should make it official as they won't be the first.

If you're interested in my subject, please let's come together and put a petition to the VC. We must stop this menace caused by staff that wont stop extorting applicants and robbing them of their future due to their selfish gains.

Please let's push this trend as we need all hands on deck.

WES says verification has been sent to my school - Unilag since 3 weeks ago but my contact there keeps saying it has not dropped.

What could be the issue? Who experienced and surpassed this hurdle?

Wes is claiming not to have received verification done by email after 5 work days. Anyone experienced this before. However, Unilag have agreed to forward again.
