The 2017 utme exam has just been concluded, though not without some hitches, as some results are still awaiting release

The journey for 2017 admission begins, this year the no of utme candidates is close to 2 million, meaning more competition compared to last year

The modality for the 2017 admission is yet to be announced, though so many people are speculating the use of the point system

Now from my analysis, jamb is making submission of olevel grades compulsory, years back if you are using awaiting result,when the result comes out there was no need submitting it to jamb, all you need to do is go to school of choice to submit it
but this year jamb made it compulsory that all those using awaiting result must upload it once it's out and also must have it at the hand before their school admission process starts.
from the analysis above JAMB MAY BE THE ONE TO GIVE ADMISSION THIS YEAR, THEN YOU GO TO YOUR RESPECTIVE SCHOOL FOR CLEARANCE .
ELSE WHY WILL THEY COMPULSORILY NEED OUR O LEVELS.

I saw a thread not long ago on the issue of jamb scrapping the use of awaiting results.

I presume most of us didn't go through the written article under it, hence the myopic understanding.

if you go through very well, you will see this

JAMB will insist that candidates supply their result on its website during registration or later, *but before admissions commences for them to be considered for admissions*. We believe this will allow only qualified candidates to be considered for admissions.


if you read that very well, you Will conclude with me that it's very possible to use awaiting results, BUT it should be before your school admission process commences.


some weeks ago, the utme board was in an intensive meeting with heads of waec,neco,nabteb so as to schedule the exams in other for them not to crash for those that wanna take both. this means jamb is still accepting awaiting results

the utme form is yet to be out as of today 28th Feb, 2017.

the exam is to take place may... that's likely may ending considering the time to be given for sales of form

the exam may likely end June

it will take at least two months before all candidates names and scores are sent to their respective universities

that means screening will start by September. by then both waec and neco results should be out.

But if you read the last statement made by jamb boss.... He talked about exams of students clashing.. That's jamb and any other olevel exams

If I may ask you, what does the crashing means...... It's only a student with an awaiting result that can experience that and jamb is trying to prevent that.....

Next time don't mislead people....
