Even if it drops what's the impact on common man?
the impact on the common man is that inflation rate will continue to come down

We know your type, dismissive and quick to deflect.
He is Nigerian, and your comparisons to other national ills won’t deter us or erase his plight.

We will rally to Okey’s aid. He is one of ours, and nothing must happen to him while he’s in custody.
We demand his immediate, unconditional release, now.

Free OkeyNnorom
Free Palestine
He will be freed.
But you shouldn't be surprised that majority of the people against him here are ibos. They think the war is a war between Christians and Muslims

Though I am proud of my tribe Yoruba, we should understand that this was written over 100 years ago.

Heck, the ancestors of this article were living in caves when the Romans got to Britain around 50 B.C.E

Even the Gauls (ancestors of the French, and the Goths, ancestors of the Germans were quite primitive compared to the Romans and Greeks.

Now, the Gucci shoe is on the other foot. The British, German, and French economies based on per capita income alone are higher than that of Italy and Greece.

We are all equal before God, all EQUAL!

No tribe or race is higher than the other.
Don't mind them.
I don't know why we always get upbeat about how some foreign nations have described us

ImpartialGuy:
Actually, there's nothing special about IGR. It means that a state is taxing their people higher than others. I don't know why you are comparing Enugu to other regions. Are you celebrating Enugu State govenor for taxing his people more?
People have to pay taxes. Taxes is what government uses in paying teachers, doctors and build infrastructure. The reason there's serious dearth of infrastructure in Nigeria is that we don't pay taxes. We see taxes as abnormal. Nigeria's tax revenue to GDP is about 10%

Ibadan is ahead of all cities and towns in the SE. You know most of them just pass through Iwo Road from Lagos to the east and they think Ibadan is all about Iwo Road and its brown roof environs

Even Jericho get different levels. There's main Jericho there's Jericho extension just like Oluyole extension.
The one I attached is main Jericho.

So in a city of up to 10 million people

You only mentioned 10 estates and I can confirm to you that’s all there is as far as estates are involved

And barely 2 ,000 - 5,000 people live in these estates so the next big question is where are the remaining 99 percent of people living in the so called mega city
The two Bodija estates combined is like a small town on its own. He even left out places like Idi Isin and Bashorun.

Maybe you should list out the decent parts of your own village. grin

LOL....NIgeria is broke because we are not an industrial economy...that produces stuff.

We deceive ourselves by thinking because we gat resources, we can sell them and import stuff

It's not a mistake 'religious nations' make alone...the atheist Soviet union went from a budding industrial power in the 60's to using oil revenue to import consumer goods...instead of using it to make its industry better...in the 70's. And when oil prices went down, they borrowed from the same West...their enemies.

And they banned religion...infact it was illegal to preach religion to kids in the USSR. Religion was regarded as something for the OAP...preaching religion to the working people and kids was verbotten. Yet their banning religion did not stop them from being a resource dependent economy

And all the soviet satellites...banned religion, yet ran economies dependent on soviet subsides. You can guess what happened when the money stopped flowing.

We should stop building cathedrals and mega churches. I agree...but once the money has finished on spending on poor...what next?

See, that's the problem with Nigeria...we think of economy and any spare money as something that must be shared, without any thought as to how we should make money for the future or how to sustain our money making capacity...so that the poor can benefit, religion or no.

Good afternoon.

Iyaganku to Jericho still has better looks than the concrete of kolapo
Those who sabi prefer old money GRAs like iyaganku, Jericho, Onireke and Bodija. But you see the younger generation, they prefer new areas like kolapo ishola and Aerodrome

Russia 2022 recession was due to the sanctions placed on them because of the Russia/Ukraine war.

Nigeria went into recession because of the incompetency of the Buhari administration and not oil prices. Is Nigeria the only oil producing nation? Why did Russia, Saudi Arabia, and the likes not also go into recession because of falling oil prices?
Who told you that? Russia had a recession in 2022, Saudi Arabia in 2023, around the same time as Nigeria. Besides the economies of those countries you mentioned are more diversified than Nigeria's.

How was Buhari incompetent? I want to learn

PDP didn’t start under Jonathan. It started from 1999 under OBJ. How much was oil then? How was the economy when OBJ took over compared to two years of him in office?

Mind you, APC and Buhari experienced great oil prices for his period of 8 years compared to Jonathan 2 years oil boom.
You are talking like a drunk man. Oil prices dropped so much under Buhari that Nigeria got into recession three times in eight years

The dual exchange rate you mentioned was introduced by your APC under Buhari.

Through PDP years the exchange rate was very stable and black and official market prices were very similar with very little difference.
Buhari didn't start dual exchange rates. The dollar black markets have been there for decades. You might as well say Buhari started fuel subsidy

Why are you asking "who knows" when you already have the answer? You have already turned your "assumption/properbly" to reality or can't you see the list without even confirming that from her husband if she cheated and if she likes man-well well. You can go and toast her too since you knew she like man well well. You are just commenting out of the multitude of your junkie mind. May God forgive you and your ignorance
Get out of here. A pastor put on a dress with clearly displayed fake nipples on it to make it look like a see through cloth and you are here defending it. You are the ignorant one here. What "wokeness"? How about you refrain from talking as if we are in 1862? She is wearing a full-length dress, that even resembles a glamorous wedding gown, that has a body-coloured lining underneath at a photoshhot for her 40th bday. Dude, are you serious?

Problem is that most of you are kids lacking the experience and wisdom proper men have had. If you been married and have a wonderful wife who has given you three kids, you would not begrudge her a photoshoot on her birthday where she dons a glamorous but decent dress that makes her feel good on her special day even if she is Mother Teresa.

Everything, to include things that should not concern you, Nigerians will ungraciously put judgemental and bad mouth in.

Imagine even hinting her marriage failed because of her. Could it not be for a million reasons to do with the husband like infidelity etc?

This repellent conduct of you lot would not be so bad if most of you are even virtuous and upright in real life, as you pretend to be, whereas the opposite is 100% the case on the ground.

You people should be attacking philandering Pastors like Suleman and his ilk you go and tithe into greater riches, every other day, and not this lady who has done nothing wrong.
Na you dey comot tithe from my account dey pay am into pastor's account Abi? You've also made a lot of assumptious nonsense here just like you feel the post you are condemning has.
