TravelRe: What Are Your Regrets For Leaving Nigeria? by PremiumTrends(m): 12:58am On Feb 22, 2020
No need explaining to someone that contradicts himself. One minute he says this, the next minute he says another thing
DexterousOne:
Let me reel out two statistic for you

1) According to NDIC, less than 5% of Nigerians have anything above 500k in their accounts.
That is why the insurance claim is capped at 500k (this is verifiable stats, check it out)

2)most Nigerians, both the ones in business and in paid employment make less than 150k per month (I think the figure was up to 90% sef) This is according to research done by NOI polls.

So from the two facts above
Your talk of "many ballers" is negated

We may be living in our bubbles as "upper middle class"

But Nigerja is largely a poverty stricken country
Just like most of Africa
TravelRe: What Are Your Regrets For Leaving Nigeria? by PremiumTrends(m): 12:45am On Feb 22, 2020
You are an adult obviously. Try to get enlightened about how things work, outside the education you received within the walls of a tertiary institution. You are educated but not enlightened, there's a thin line.
sowilli:
you are a child obviously. How many of your leaders come to nairaland to check threads as this.
TravelRe: What Are Your Regrets For Leaving Nigeria? by PremiumTrends(m): 9:27pm On Feb 21, 2020
I haven't insulted Nigeria in any post online, but to answer your question, insulting Nigeria online helps make Nigeria better. If our leaders are sensible enough, they'll right their wrongs from seeing posts online. We don't have to call Nigeria a shithole before they'll know it's an insult. A simple statement like "our health care system doesn't work" is an insult online. You are clearly contradicting yourself in your replies to others so far, I hope confusion isn't setting in.
sowilli:
who says people should not seek peace. So why make the ones who decide to stay in Nigeria look like they are making a bad decision? Does calling Nigeria shit hole or abusing Nigeria online by same Nigerians stop SARS. You all are delusional. If you want a system that works you don’t focus on a system that doesn’t work. You don’t have to come talk about a system that doesn’t work. It means you don’t know what you want.
TravelRe: What Are Your Regrets For Leaving Nigeria? by PremiumTrends(m): 9:08pm On Feb 21, 2020
Some people don't care about the hundreds of millions you're mentioning, they just want peace of mind. Many young Nigerians have legit legal millions but are still harassed by SARS for having those millions. Will you say they are harassed because they don't have money? You mentioned Dangote and the likes earlier. Why do they send their children abroad to study then, if their millions can bring Heaven on Earth for them? You claim to have millions but do you even have a simple Health Insurance Scheme that works for you? There is none of that in the country. Even with their hundreds of millions, people have lost loved ones in hospitals due to flimsy excuses like power failure or staff strike. Your millions can buy you as many exotic cars you want, but can you comfortably drive them on Nigerian roads?
Your reasoning shouldn't be shallow, focusing on money alone as to why Nigerians travel out. Some people just want a system that works! I'm not imposing my thoughts on you, but re-evaluate your point of view.

sowilli:
how has the shittiness you mentioned added to you. Make money bro, you will have a different view. Naija this or that doesn’t add to anyone’s bank account. Make money bro, you will have no time to analyze this kind of regrets. Millions of Nigerians are doing over 300 million. O boy go find money jo
TravelRe: What Are Your Regrets For Leaving Nigeria? by PremiumTrends(m): 8:25pm On Feb 21, 2020
I follow up on the gist in Travel section more than the daily Nigerian news, just to keep consoling myself mentally that I'll migrate soon. Most of us are weary of "hanging on" in this country
NamelessOGBENI:
You just hit the nail..

Mentally, most "Nairalanders" are out of this country.
TravelRe: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by PremiumTrends(m): 5:17pm On Feb 20, 2020

TravelRe: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by PremiumTrends(m): 6:33am On Feb 20, 2020
Will I be interviewed? Won't they send me back for coming too early? Did it work for you? Pardon the questions, but I'm checking if I'll just go on Friday
elijah101:
You can go anytime you want ... no need for twitter ... you can go today even if you want
TravelRe: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by PremiumTrends(m): 10:45pm On Feb 18, 2020
Thanks a lot. I realised I was just unsettled at the moment. I've printed the payment slip and application form. Interview date is 9th March, can I request on the Twitter handle to go earlier? Maybe next week Friday instead of the initial date
Innunique:
no login needed, just input your application number and reference number and your profile will be out.
TravelRe: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by PremiumTrends(m): 6:06pm On Feb 18, 2020
I made payment via Saanapay and I was debited. The page refreshed and I couldn't access it again. I'm trying to login but there was no username and password when I was registering, so all the data I'm putting are not being accepted. I'm panicking already like this
TravelRe: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by PremiumTrends(m): 12:45pm On Feb 16, 2020
Thanks a lot, I'll go with it
khattab008:
Yes I believe so, I wasn't asked to present the original copy of mine when I went for processing.
TravelRe: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by PremiumTrends(m): 3:44am On Feb 16, 2020
Good day everyone,
Please, can I use the photocopy of my State of Origin Certificate for the processing? The original was lost some years ago due to theft. I intend going through the DIY route.
TravelRe: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by PremiumTrends(m): 9:06pm On Feb 06, 2020
Follow up closely on Austin Peay, they give assistantships for computer science and it's related courses. May the odds be in your favour
Shuayb0:
Hello Everyone

This is an amazing forum with lots of people using their precious time to assist others. Kudos

Any one with info on a school with a non expensive Ms Data Science or Analytics program or one with a good prospect for graduate assistantship (I’m already applying to Minnesota state and Austin Peay State). I have a computer science degree, 3.94/5.0. Thanks

ProfDave123:
Please who knows any school that offers masters scholarship/assistantship for any Medically-related course like medical informatics, biomedical engineering/sciences etc??

Why do you sound like an agent? 1.5 million for F1 visa? Explain please
realestniggah:
All they want is your money..trump is not interested in giving Nigerian visa into his country. Student visa, business visa, all these thing cost heavy money..atleast 1.5 million and above to get a USA visa now. USA isn't friendly anymore, they don't want us there. Look elsewhere.

TravelRe: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by PremiumTrends(m): 1:20am On Jan 26, 2020
Someone on this thread narrated how she didn't get enough funding at first and then she requested for more funds, which she later got after some time. I don't know if it's a wonderful idea but, it might be an option.
You can also wait for feedback from other schools you applied to.
I guess the above isn't necessary any more. Congratulations man, start packing!

Evans211:
About $30,000.. The assistantship obviously doesn’t come a long way. Not a fair deal I bet..

Not sure of the latter that’s why I’m asking..!
TravelRe: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by PremiumTrends(m): 2:40pm On Jan 24, 2020
I mean, I'm just sad like this. Everything is now sounding like the full funding someone is looking for will be in vain.
But for me, can't stop won't stop.

NwanyiOkpa:
cry you guys ve killed my morale.
TravelRe: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by PremiumTrends(m): 2:31pm On Jan 24, 2020
This move is actually something I've been thinking about. I think it's a smart one, but what do I know?

Predstan:
How about a masters in the USA and Express entry to canada?

Is there anyone who has collected or who knows someone that has collected academic transcript from Abia State University, Uturu (ABSU)? Please, I have some questions.

If your interview is close, this is enough to have a positive mindset. Where there's a will, there's a way.

nathyshollz:
I am so happy to say this. After reading posts on here and getting visa in 2018. I was able to help another person. Below is the transcripts of the person who got approved on the 21st January grin grin grin grin

TravelRe: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by PremiumTrends(m): 7:06pm On Jan 22, 2020
But some people are doing their possible best to tarnish the image of legit future US students by staying out of status in the country and engaging in illegal things!

Ifesinachi22:
Yeah, it's for Business and Tourist visas.

F1 is not included.
They know students are peace loving people
NYSCRe: We Want Skirts Included In NYSC Uniform - Serve With Skirts Movement Protests by PremiumTrends(m): 6:36pm On Jan 17, 2020
We have female soldiers that are devote Christians, and they wear trousers as their uniform when necessary. Does that make them lesser Christians?
This movement is definitely by disguised illiterates. The enlightened ones will know better.
EducationRe: How To Achieve High Scores On The GRE by PremiumTrends(m): 12:07am On Jan 17, 2020
I'm actually surprised about the rewriting, cause the general score is wonderful and the quant is same too.
NwanyiOkpa:
316 is not a bad score.
TravelRe: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by PremiumTrends(m): 11:57pm On Jan 16, 2020
Yeah, you should go for it, especially if your background is synonymous to the listed. Plus, I think you need to check the department that's offering assistanship at the time, cause she said something like funding rotates between the departments. I'm not certain though
horlahsunbo225:
I got my eye on that school
TravelRe: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by PremiumTrends(m): 10:47pm On Jan 16, 2020
A friend got admission + assistantship for M.Sc. at Austin Peay back in 2018. She's been encouraging people with Computer/statistics/finance background to apply, cause it's almost certain you'll be funded. It's a pity that's not my field.
horlahsunbo225:
People in this thread have gitten there visa with
Austin peay state university
University of Houston
Kansas state university
Saint cloud
NCAT

When u are less busy check those schools ranking
BusinessRe: What Will Happen If One Fails To Pay Back Loan From Loan App? by PremiumTrends(m): 2:32pm On Jan 12, 2020
They don't have that right at all to debit your other bank accounts, CBN didn't even give banks the right to do so. It is still on the pipeline.
NaijaDonCast:
First of all they have your BVN, most times they have the 4 last digit on your ATM, they can decide to shortlist your name from your BVN on any platform that strictly is against banking fraud, the can still use your BVN to trace your other bank transaction with other commercial banks, but at times the CBN 3RD PARTY RIGHT might not favour them if the loan app is not a reputable loan organization thereby not giving them any right to exploiting your other accts
