Religion / Re: Are We Truly Safe, When We Commit Sin With Condoms? by Prettyjanet1: 9:04am On Dec 15, 2019
jesusjnr:
Are We Truly Safe, When We Commit Sin With Condoms?

"Safe sex" is what the world calls sex that is had with the use of condoms.

And this is regardless whether or not the condom is used during fornication, adultery or any other sexual sin, but just because it was devised to offer protection against sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS, is the reason sex done using condoms is called "safe sex".

Now it's not that I'm against the use of condoms during sex and believe it's wrong, but what I have serious issues with, is the idea that there's any such thing as a "safe sin", because that's certainly not true.

The Truth is that anyone who commit sins is not safe.

John 5:14 (KJV)

14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

So it didn't matter if the man committed sin with a condom or without a condom, the instruction from Jesus to the man was clearly that he "sinned no more, less a worse thing come upon him", because as long as the man continued to sin, he's simply not safe!

And the man Jesus said this to was someone He just healed of a terrible infirmity that had plagued him for thirty-eight whole years, and yet He told him to sin no more so that something worse wouldn't come upon him.

So what could be worse than having such a terrible infirmity for thirty-eight years? That's what sin could yet bring upon him if he continues to sin.

And that saying of Jesus didn't just apply to that man, but to anyone who cares to hear the Truth, "sin no more, less something worse comes upon you"!

Because without sin, no sickness would have been able to come upon any man, for any sickness, disease or even death that had come upon any man, came either directly or indirectly through someone's sin.

For before sin, man was completely safe and fully protected that no sickness or such evil could possibly befall him. And this was despite Satan yet being very present. But man's obedience of God's Word gave man complete immunity against such evils that it made Satan presence there to be utterly useless and meaningless, as the devil couldn't do more than a dead rat to man.

But it was only after man sinned and disobeyed God's Word that such evils could possibly be brought upon him, as it gave Satan the power he had to do any damage to man's body.

For sin makes man to lose any immunity or protection he has against the devil's powers and devices, and hence gives the devil the free access and freedom to accomplish what he only comes to man to do, which is to steal, kill and destroy.

Hence Jesus saying, "sin no more, lest something worse comes upon you,"
because sin makes anyone who commits them very liable to such evils which the devil could bring upon someone.

So anyone who believes he is having "safe sex" while he is fornicating, committing adultery, and other sexual sins, just because he is using condom, has only fallen for a lie of the devil, because no one who commits sin is truly safe.

God bless.
How about married couples using condoms? Is it a sin?

If they try this kind of thing ehn, na 95% of Nigerians go come out say dem no get job oo

There is one question that keeps running through my mind everyday over this sowore issue and I can't still find answer to it.

How can someone who did same thing Sowore did in the past punished him now for same offence?

History recorded it that our president did same thing in the past but he was never arrested or detained by any security operatives.

His past came haunting and he's looking for a way to Dodge this.
Moral of this issue: Don't do unto others what you can not accept.

Politics / Re: Fuel Subsidy Gulps N1.5 Trillion by Prettyjanet1: 9:07am On Dec 09, 2019
Nigeria still spending trillions of naira on fuel importation when a modular refinery can be built with 75million dollars within 6 months.

We were told subsidy has been removed and that's why we are buying fuel @ 145#/ litre. Fuel subsidy is a scam and another avenue to psiphon millions of naira for their personal use. What exactly is wrong with Nigeria?

If the subsidy wasn't removed, what makes the price skyrocketed from #97/litre to #145.

Several people are involved in this subsidy scam just because they are benefitting from it, they will frustrate every government plans to work on our own refineries or even build one.

Technology Market / Re: Professor On Any Type Of Generator. by Prettyjanet1: 8:15pm On Dec 08, 2019
Good evening ladies and gentlemen viewing this thread. Happy Sunday to you all.
I have a generator of 7500 KV. A week ago, I noticed when I start this generator, the output voltage is low, and its around 10Volt, but after 45 minutes working, the voltage will go back to its normal position which is 220 volt. Sometimes when I first start d engine, the output voltage will be normal (220volt) but in a twinkle of an eye , it would go back to 10Volt which is low current. And after like 45-50mins, it will go back to normal. Pls what could be the cause ?

You don't necessarily need to buy the synthetic oil. Buy the right weight. I believe it will be either 5w-20 or 5w-30.
If you can afford it you can go synthetic just for the sake of it but it is not a necessity.
There are mineral oils with the right weight for your car. Forte oil has them in stock (Castrol). Radautoworks has them too. There are other oil sellers here too that have them.
My acura doesn't call for synthetic and my last oil change wasn't synthetic but was still the right weight oil As recommended by the manufacturer. All the best.
Thanks for this clarification.

I doubt if this present regime is really progressive as they promised to be during the electioneering campaign.

Let them know this policy will affect them a lot because 80% of Nigerians will withdraw their money from banks.

If they are looking for more money, can't they start this from their side by cutting down government running cost?

The only way is by sincere prayer to the Lord, reading of His Word, and developing a relationship with Him.

He will definitely answer you.
There will be confirmation (in multiple ways) to reassure you that it's from the Lord.
But you need to be willing to be led by Him..trusting that He, only, ultimately knows what's best for you.

OK thanks

The reason why a lot people suffer from stagnation is because there are out of their place in life. For instance, your destination is Lagos and you are headed to sokoto. You can never arrive at your destination. For you to find your place in life you need submit yourself totally to God. He will unveil it to you. That’s the only way.

Depends on how you look at it.

For me, i choose to see it from the lens of Gods ultimate purpose for man. The degree to which God has use for man varies. For example, Samson had a destiny which, despite his flouting of instruction, still held sway. Through Abraham, the world was to be blessed, and despite the fact that he got a child the wrong way, the promise still came through his loins.

No decision man makes can shock God. I believe that man's path has been decided from the word go. God isn't worthy of worship and reverence if things can go outside of His pre-designed will at some point, and it means he is no longer omniscient.

Some achievements and fulfillment of destinies come with specific instructions come with instructions, and when man disobeys it, God cannot be held liable. I believe this is the juncture where man's destiny lies in his hands. The destiny of the children of Israel was to make the promised land, but Moses placed a set of instructions before them, urging them to choose life. They didn't, and that generation perished in the wilderness.
This means for destiny to be fulfilled, one must follow the instructions

How can you be using mineral oil of 5k or less on a 2010 model of a car. Was the car a birthday gift or you bought it from your hard earned money? They way Nigerians are killing car engines are alarming. And the car engine you want to kill so is not selling cheap o. With my 2006 model Camry I still used full synthetic oil on it. That oil you used is definitely not recommended.
. Noted!! I'll be buying the synthetic one

Probably you have been destined to be at Lagos and you are in Ibadan , can one's destiny be fulfilled there?
You have been destined to be a Governor and you are vying for the post of president, can it be achieved?

How can one knows his/her purpose/Role on earth?
Religion / Re: Your Destiny Lies In Your Hand. How True Is This Statement? by Prettyjanet1: 8:27pm On Dec 01, 2019

I would re-word it to say that the "choice" to allow God to lead one towards one's destiny lies in one's hands.

The ultimate destination is the acceptance of eternal salvation, paid for by Jesus' death on the cross.
However, on the journey to that destination, after acceptance, comes a cleansing and sanctification process.
Each individual on this planet has a specifc, unique "calling" by God...if the person is interested in surrendering to Him.
But that is contingent on "choice"...or "freewill".
The "choice to tread one's own path/destiny" minus God's leading, is and will always be present.

How can one discover his/her call?
