Classical music. My all time favorite. I don't think Nigerians have gotten to a place where classical music can survive. Miss Ige is still struggling for recognition, yet she has a very sonorous voice. If you must make it in this genre, please travel out. We'll appreciate you anyways
i dont know miss ige as a singer she is a vocal coach ni
Ok ooo just what i've been looking for but op why u d talk say classical music don d lose ground naa? because ayam not understanding ooooo while you think its dying somepeople are thinking otherwise
Statsocial: [i]My Father was born into a polygamous islamic family of seven wives(Islam limits to 4 wives but some Yoruba men exceed that number). He grew to loath polygamy due to the many family problems he faced. This made him and his siblings particularly not rooted or interested in Islam either. He ended up marrying the daughter of an Anglican Clergy and it was just so easy to flip him to Christianity. Considering that his own mother was a Catholic from Delta who converted to Islam to marry his Dad as third wife in Oyo State, there was particularly no strong family resistance for him to marry a Christian.
Three of his four Siblings also converted to Christianity mostly by marital influence while one remains a Muslim till today.

isii: im currently a medical student in Ansu and if you ask me,just go for the pharmacy..getting medicine is really hard now plus the high fees.. pharmacy is a lot better and safe..so you dont end up wasting your time.start with the pharmacy then if by God's grace you get medicine, then you switch. Deferment is really hard here..
Jackossky: Hey guy, i did jupeb but let me tell you this, you might think the exam is simple or Jupeb is simple (Just chill coz this is first semester so they have to entice you with soft works) . going for med and surg. you need to have the whole 15 point + the 1 mark making 16 or else u might find urself in agric dept. Guy, just continue with pharmacy and dont waste your money, but if you think you can really smash Jupeb, lemme ask you, are you the best in the class? If more than 15 people are better than you the forget med surg, but if you really believe in your competency then go for med/surg. I wish you luck but if you were my lil bro, i would edify you to go for pharmacy. Best regards..Shola
charlesklaus: Ask yourself this simple question, which of the profession do I derive more interest and passion for? Get ur answer and follow ur preferred choice of course with full seriousness and the watch urself excel.
sirxris: I advise that you defer the pharmacy admission for one year. Then focus on the JUPEB during the one year. Then at the end of the year, if you couldn't measure with the direct entry requirement via JUPEB, you then go back to your earlier pharmacy admission.
this advice is so because med/surg is better than pharmacy if your head and purse can carry it. But then, if you can't get it, at least you can get the second best to it - pharmacy.
But one caveat is to never try to do both at same time. you may likely lose out on both ends if you do so because your C GPA would likely suffer.
Hello dear. I had to log in to give you advice on what to do. I am a medical Doctor with many years of experience. I will advise you never to rush in for any course out of desperation because one day you will be left to live with your choice. I will ask you a few question; 1) Do ye see yourself as a Pharmacist later in life? 2) Why exactly do you want to become a Med. Doctor? Is it because of fame or fortune? The answer to that will decide my next advise. 3) If no to question 2, then stick to your decision to study medicine but for safety just defer your admission to study Pharmacy after payment of acceptance fee. 4) Pray about it. Note I entered in through the basi...
this is my fourth time, already forgone 2 admissions just to accomplish the only thing i feel my life depends on my emotions are very clear i do not see myself as a pharmacist. am now considering pharmacy b/c i think i've held on long enough still a good part of me wants 2 continue pushing
Damitism: Do you really mean you want to combine mbbs and pharmacy? This is suicidal! I'm a pharmacy student and I must say pharmacy alone will drain you if you are not strong enough. MBBS is another tough course on its own! You've already gotten admission for pharmacy while MBBS is still a hopeful stuff. Please, go for pharmacy. You may not get another chance.
Rajosh: Pay your school fees and defer your admission. Continue your JUPEB program. By the end of the session, you'll know where you stand. Assuming you don't make 5.0 (God forbid), you'll have your pharmacy to fall back on. you make your 5.0, MBBS tó sure.
comrChris: Point of correction you have only one admission which is pharmacy, Jupeb is just a program to give you admission and you are not through with it yet.
I'm very sure you are doing that your jupeb in Unizik, ask anybody that has done either jupeb, prescience or diploma in unizik,he or she will tell you how frustrating its to do stuff like that in unizik, they don't care about your admission but the money they will make from you. I did prescience in unizik,i know what am saying, i also have two 2017 jupeb results i collected for my friends sister n brother. You will be shocked if you see what they scored.
My advice, if you can pause that pharmacy and see the end of you jupeb fine, but if it won't work stick to your pharmacy
FBIL: GET IT DIRECT FROM A UNIVERSITY TEACHER: You've bn admitted to study Pharmacy. You're currently running JUPEB. You love both courses but seemingly prefers Med/Surgery. Now, go see the Registrar/Assistant Registrar of the school that gave u Pharmacy, tell him/her that you want to defer your admission for a year based on financial reasons. Do not tell him/her you're elsewhere doing JUPEB. Why you must see Registrar or Assistant is because different schools have different rules. Hear it from the ''horse's mouth''! If you stay far to assume a rule you may be caught up when you return to enforce your rights. Congratulations in advance.
thank u very much, but its still in ANSU that am doing my jupeb...
Darvel: I STRONGLY ADVICE YOU GO FOR THE ANSU.. COZ JUPEB MIGHT NOT GIVE YOU AUTOMATIC ADMISSION..... GO FOR THE ONE WEY SURE PASS O,.. NA NAIJA WE DEY. ALL THESE HOLD YOUR ADMISSION. OR PAUSE ADMISSION MIGHT NOT WORK FOR YOU WEN IT COMES O.. AM TALKING FROM EXPERIENCE... SO BETTER GO FOR ONE AND STOP BEATING AROUND D BUSH.......
can u please share ur experience let me know what am up against?
First, search your mind for what you love to do better between the two courses and combine with your future ambition. Do not choose because 'I love the two'; your best may not be achieved if you have to run them at thesame time. Learn to forgo what sometimes appear better but rather the one that will make you happy when you are fulfilled and ready to continue your life with. Remember, you cannot be thesame person at thesame time. Take your time, it's sometimes dicey. I wish you the very best
chibowobbed: As a medical student I suggest you leave jupeb for pharmacy, it's somewhat difficult getting admitted to study medsurg via jupeb and now you already have pharmacy, but then if you find it hard comprehending this, you can defer the pharmacy this year and if medicine dint work out after your jupeb, you go back to pharmacy. thanks
africanusvu: OP.wallahi you ar very confused now.and from d way I see u.you may still get another Admission in the Hospital. Wallahi to lai you ar going
Owomkpo: If you can delay the pharmacy, okay. Take up the jupeb medicine. Bad as e bad, if u no get d medicine, dem go still give u pharmacy.... But try ur best get the medicine ohh. Jupeb no d easy
i dont know why i have so much confidence in jupeb
dimelo: a bird in hand is better than ten in the bush, thousands of people don't get admitted yearly and that means another rigorous process of jamb registration, post utme and even reading same material in preparation for the said exam and trust me I know how boring it can get, I've applied to different universities to study pharmacy but was never selected among the admitted few, so be wise in your decision cause no school would keep space for you until you decide to take it. and just so you know only 21 universities in Nigeria offers pharmacy and I'm not even sure if it's all of them that are accredited, ANSU particularly doesn't offer pharmacy.
accreditation! who still worries about that one? if futo can be battling with accreditation for courses like archi and micro bio i wonder... let me get in first
