Please, what's UBA rate today? I want to order for stuff online worth 750$. If Stanbic is far cheaper than UBA then I won't hesitate to open account with Stanbic ASAP. 35 naira difference is over 25k saved from 750$ |

What are the requirements for direct entry to both degrees ? I know that you require a minimum of OND to qualify for DE depending on the relationship of both courses. It would be safe to go to a study centre and find out if you qualify. Thank you. |

gadafitruth: @sekinatmi, why not write GRE/GMAT and apply to schools in U.S that will guarantee u full funding till ur PhD sef? coz this 1st class in stats going to Germany might not really be the best sis, menial job dey but...ermmm..that degree will work wonders in U.S wit ur 1st class.. if U have a high score in GMAT, ul be guaranteed full funding in many schools in U.S and take ur kids along instead of Germany..
Try go for post grad like Machine Learning(really needed in states now, av little programming experience) coz in states with ur background in stats(hope u know how to use Octave, R, Matlab), im sure ur life will change oo..and I can bet my $100 on it..but if its cash constraint still do GMAT/GRE, apply whenever u r in Germany or start from now from Naija..apply to U.S skls..ul get funding sis, and ur kids will assimilate easily..
U av banking experience also;that surely fits well with stats..Permanent Residence(PR) in beautiful English speaking countries should not be ruled out also..Sister do ur homework and u will smile looking back at this.
Always have at least a day in a week to browse the web, gather info, form ur own opinion, check forums, ask(but dont take all suggestion coz person wey dey advice sometimes their IQ level is not even average oo..lol)
Hope you look into this Most scholars would have chosen USA over Germany but the uncertainty of PR / Citizenship coupled with other hassles make some follow the straightforward system like Germany. Canada is another option. Frankly, your advice is very true for a first class graduate in STEM. Scholarship will definitely make life smooth in US. We choose Germany because of d free tuition yet quality education. I've resolved to keep my mind open and spread my tentacles. |

ceyrahtlk: Have you tried applying to hospitals in the North? Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital just did their interview yesterday. My advice to you is this, check the MDCN approved hospitals for housemanship online, write out the ones in the North, check for their contact online, write your application letter and go to the nearest post office. Can u imagine that less than 20 people usually apply to these places? Where I'm currently doing my housemanship only 7 of us came for interview....don't wait for the South or West. My 2 cents Thank you for this advice. Unfortunately, security challenges in d country has made guys reject offers in the North. I did my housemanship 5yrs ago down south but what fresh medical graduates go through is shocking. Corruption simply worsen every year. We have to move for CHANGE and control our destiny. |

sekinatmi: I have searched and searched but the language of instruction for the ones I saw was german That's true. I believe that English version would be available soon, say <3semesters from now. The MSc Finance in English was introduced not long ago, I gathered. I wanted broad MSc Statistics (decision made last December ) and that had made me overlook Bioinformatics and Biostatistics in my search. Since you already have BSc in Statistics, MSc Biostatistics or that Finance degree is perfect. I could eventually settle for Biostatistics if no English version of Statistics is found by next year. Please, notify me when you find something interesting. sekinatmi: I am a mother. Interesting! I like your passion and dedication. I think we do have certain things in common. |

pharmtex08: Pls who among you wrote GST 807 the result was released and to my greatest surprise I was given F. The reason y I said I was given F is because that is not my score. From my e-exam I score 37 bcs I check my score after submitting the exam and my TMA I score 25.50 if added together it should be 62.50. With this I saw fail. Same happen to my friend to. Did anyone here have similar problem and wat is the wayout Sadly, that's your result. This is the calculation: 37/120 * 70 = 21.5 + TMA best 3 (25.5) = 47% which is F for PG students. Minimum pass score is 50 which is C. Anything short of C is FAIL for Master courses. 40 is E for Undergraduate students. The scoring algorithm for GOODSTUDY GUIDE was generally poor. I managed to score C. |

If the design is well tested and ready for large production, then you outsource to China. Princejude we have unfinished business if u remember |

wip7: Okay Jatropha is a good source cos is rugged and oil content within the seeds is high compared to the rapeseed normally used in Europe. Since its a ranch, if you guys have cattle there, then they don't need to buy alcohol (methanol) as solvent for the biodiesel production, they can produce from the animal dung. Also, the Glycerin obtain after biofuel production is also of high commercial value. This interaction is getting more practically oriented. I'm actually interested in Renewable Energy (Hydrogen generation from water, utilized in electricity generation, biodesiel, any accessible renewable sources for electricity) . Wip7, you have contributed greatly to this thread. Thank you. Hope you won't mind if I pm you for some personal advice? |
