TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by pricelessmr: 2:41pm On May 21, 2019
Hi
Please, I am applying for someone who already has HND to a Bsc programme online application (Bonn-Rhein-Sieg). I don't know what to fill in the * Final average grade of university entrance qualification from abroad

Please enter the average grade for your university entrance qualification here. The value must be between 0 and 100. A maximum of 2 decimal places is permitted. The conversion into the German grading system will be carried out later by the university.

The uniassist grade is 1,8 . How do I translate this to their scale of 0 to 100 if applicable.

Thanks

Offline app should take the lead not online app, op these are all different version of a Bible, I was expecting different app, there is a single app that contains all these versions and more and it's offline.
It will be good if you state the name and possibly link as op has done. Thanks.

Original documents with your uncle could be a wrong choice. Make photocopies, drop the copies with your uncle or keep them in your personal room or box.

Go abroad with the original copies.

wow ......this thread still dey alivehuh shocked grin grin grin cant remember when last i was here.
a lot of water has passed under these past 7years since i started this thread. the salary has improved since then but unfortunately, inflation and the general bad economy have wiped off any gains.

SRs now go home with 500+ but TODAY,that is equivalent to the 350+ in 2009. (refer to my earlier posts)

i didnt get to travel out. i got married and decided to do residency in the country partly because moving with my family was a task i was not willing to undertake( a decision i partly regret not taking).

i am currently in a radiology residency in southern nigeria and hopefully going for part 2 next year.i still think about travelling out BUT my pathway in 2016 would be different from my chosen pathway 7 years ago.
i will most likely be going for the FRCR(royal college of radiologists)postgraduate exams. this is the least path of resisitance for me AT MY CURRENT LEVEL.
the FRCR is in 3 steps and can be completed quite rapidly for a doctor who knows what hes doing.passing steps1 and 2 make you an SR(radiology) in the UK.

so my advice for residents IN NIGERIA who still want to leave, survey the option of writing foreign postgraduate professional exams in your current area of specialization. that may be easier. i hear pathology faculty(national postgrad college)has some arrangements with royal college of pathologists were an SR in pathology in nigeria is exempted from writing step 1 of the royal college of paths exam. Im not sure though.

For the medical students/fresh graduates, my advice is to decide what you want to do ON TIME. never be caught in one place. Always be on the move. you must have a strategy.
make up your mind fast. do you want to leave the country or do you want to stay back. while youre looking to write these foreign exams you must have a job that feeds you and can help you prepare for these exams. ALWAYS REMEMBER..... every decision has its pros and cons....moving to the UK or US does not mean all your problems in life are over. carefully weigh every decision(with prayer o!!).
I know our country is F.ucked(pardon the expression....couldnt find something MORE APT) BUT IT IS NOT ALL GLOOM AND DOOM..
i make up to 60% of my salary moonlighting in my current city of residence. i have friends who are SRs in anaesthesiology and are fully booked every weekend in town for surgeries netting about 35grand per surgery.these boys do not do less than 10surgeries in a month. Im not sure a doctor would have this kind of freedom in the US or UK(correct me if im wrong though). My guys(SRs) in O&G net about 50-100grand per month on performing C/Ss for GPs in town. my point?? our country is a useless place but that uselessness has created opportunities for youths to move in and provide solutions to problems.

i dont know what the carribean pathway is like these days. when i left school a decade ago, UNN.ABU.UI.IFE AND BENIN graduates were sought after in T&T. graduates of thses schools didnt have to write licensing exams in addition to to the tax free salaries they were to earn.(of course while attempting to nail either PLAB or USMLE).

so just survey all your options very well. cheers! wink wink
Sorry to quote the whole post.

I really would like to have a private chat with you as soon as possible on some points you raised especially on Radiology.

I am sending PM to you right away.

More works planned for next week.
Spyder, I'm at a cross road on which block (blind or hollow) to use for my project located in Benin. I want to do fencing first before starting the building project.

In the neighborhood everyone is using and recommending blind block for fencing and building. The state I live in, hollow blocks are used both in fencing and building.

Please demystify the merits and demerits of the two block types, hollow vs blind.

Thanks.

From my view point, things will get tough for the lazy corrupt people feeding fat on Nigeria.

The skilled and talented will smile in the coming years.

Indigenous technology must be emphasized for Nigeria to succeed even in Agriculture.

aliexpress.com . i ordered to resell. you search for sellers that deal in only electronics components. first order for few samples ,later you can place large order. the secret is when placing large order you can always bargain with the seller to drastically reduce the price. also when searching , search based on the free shipping cheapest and most ordered. you know 1millon ic may not even weigh up to 2kg and also package in antistatic. with time you buy outside aliexpress platform and deal directly with the seller to remove 5% aliexpress charges, but that's based on trust
I sent you a pm. I need to chat with you via email or whatsapp.

ive also being wondering how people make profit with the mini importation business. Not all products are cheaper to sell here. You have to do your homework very well. For you to make enough profit in this mini importation business you have to order large quantity of what ever you are buying and need to negotiate the price with the seller very well. note you have to be selective in what you order. for me I only order electronics components in bulk with free shipping and its cheaper than buying in Lagos. I've tried other tangible goods like electronics before but its always loses upon loses. if one is not careful one will just be working for the bank(with high exchange rate), the seller and alibaba.
Please where do you buy your electronic components in large quantities with free shipping?

How do you ensure that the parts are of good quality considering the sensitivity of electronic components. And do you import for resell, production or both?

I ask because we're into use of some electronic parts for custom production.

I will attempt to answer your questions to my best. Trades skills like plumber, auto technician etc will ordinarily be high in demand but I can't start there. So I research the top job site for Canada to see who employers a looking for. How do I do my research? Simple! i just use keywords to search these sites for example I type 'devops' and search. I get the result that shows all the number and jobs type with ''devops'' (devops, is a IT project management practice). The result even gives you the pay scale based on years of experience. The approach I mentioned is the most simple way to know jobs that are in high demand for personal use. Another thing I learnt was Canadian employer love Canadian qualifications. And why not?! I will like you to do your check, get relevant Canadian education or a simple popular certifications. I'm in Business Development, the NOC is something like 4163. In order to be free to do jobs that comes my way, I decided not to be the principal applicant. Even if PNP, I go to where the job is in Canada and the family remain in the nominated province! I hope this clarifies!
Thank you.

Hey Zanzan,

Congrats dear and wishing you the best!
Just a piece of info I found helpful myself about jobs. When I visited Canada in May this year on vacation, I did research about getting jobs there. First is having a skills that is in high demand. How do I know it true? Between June and Nov. I have passed two certification exams, one of them was a Canadian certification the other an American. I created a profile on the job site ca.indeed.com and monster.ca
So far I have turned down six high paying job offers! The reason was simple. I used a Canadian address but I'm in Nigeria. I did that just to validate that what i'm doing reflects the job market demand. I have remove my job profiles and will work on My EE profile to up my CRS.
Zandora, this story is just to let you know that the jobs are there. Hope you've got skills that is in high demand? All the best!
Very useful post.
How do you determine skills in high demand for different fields in Canada? Or do you mean generic skills?

Thank you.

This is why i'm working with U.S customs and FBI, i don't refuse fraudulent packages anymore. I receive them and forward them to U.S customs to do their investigations.
I like this. I wish every shipping company will do this and box those scumbags that give Nigeria bad names.

This is to those contacting me to pay off their invoice(s) with PayPal.

Please note that I currently charge N215/$ for the payment and if you see it too costly, please use your Nigeria Paypal or explore other means. Thanks
Please I need to pay about $180 to a company in Ohio that accepts only Visa / MasterCard / other credit card with US address. They don't accept Paypal. This automatically disqualifies my Nigeria Master Card and Paypal (My only means of payment outside Nigeria).

Genuine assistance will be appreciated.

I dont know if electronics gurus out there has seen or used this useful tool. Its a gas powered soldering iron and gas torch. I ordered it from aliexpress about $9.00 and it has been very useful to me. I dont need to burn my fuel all because i want to solder, i can do any maintenance job on site that involves soldering without looking to for power or find an extension box.
The wattage of the soldering iron can be varied with the gas burning volume knob.
You can solder electrostatic sensitive board without having to check that your soldering iron doesn't have leakage current and You can solder conviniently. I dont know if its been sold at oshodi or alaba but i just thought of sharing this with the house, because untill early this year i never thought something like this exist.
This is nice. How do u refill the gas? does it come with its own cylinder?

Savotech what area of EE is your core? I may need your services.

Since the Stanbic is Naira denominated, it can't work, I suggest u transfer to neteller and withdraw to GTB domiciliary account in USD
Thanks for the response.

Do you know the exchange rate of neteller?

It's a prepaid card Mastercard denominated in USD(u can actually choose any currency u like) just like Payoneer and others, just that it can be directly funded with our Naira cards. To sign up is very easy, just go www.neteller.com to sign up
You will need a government-issued ID card to get verified(this is only necessary if u want to collect the physical card). You're also provided the option of a virtual card as well which can be used just like your physical card, for this you dont need to be verified. Hope you got it well-explaned
I am waiting for Stanbic bank to open savings account for me. Residential address verification was done yesterday. I hope they send me the account number tomorrow so that I can apply for card. I have to make my order next week.

On a different note, I have domiciliary account with GTB and would like to transfer converted N500k at normal rate which is about $2, 500.
Can Stanbic bank transfer dollar equivalent to my GTB domiciliary account? Workable idea needed please.
