I just want to seek blog readers opinion on an issue. There is this girl I dated for 5yrs, we loved ourselves so much, at a point in our relationship I traveled out of the country. During this period there was a time I couldn’t keep contacts with her like I use to do, for example I often call like several times in a day before but at that time I couldn’t call for some months. And it’s all due to certain things I was passing through at that moment. After a year abroad I returned home and I didn’t inform her I was coming, on getting back I invited her and she was happy to see me. We met in an hotel and had se.x that night, later that night when she left she sent me a text telling me to forget about her. I was so surprised that why would she do such but later I found out that she was already 2months pregnant as at that time and that she was to get married soon. Firstly I was angry that why would she make me have s.ex with her when she is carrying another man’s pregnancy but she apologized and later explained to me that she was planning to abort the baby and stop the marriage and explained how her mum & sister forced the man on her claiming I wasn’t coming back for her but I kicked against it and encouraged her to carry on with her marriage. Now after almost 2yrs of her marriage blessed with a son, she still constantly have s.ex with me. She get angry whenever she calls and I let her know am hanging out with a female friend , she doesn’t want me to have a relationship. Always condemning every girl I date, she gets mad even when I refer to her as my ex. Now she is pregnant with the second baby, and she told me I am responsible for it but she is giving it to her husband. Anyway am not interested in having the baby but is it right for me to let another man train my child?? Isn’t gonna affect my future in anyway? Sorry my story seems long but I have to let you understand me, I need matured advice on this pls. http://tiwasblog.co/2015/07/please-advice-i-am-dating-and-impregnated-a-married-woman/ |
The Court of Appeal sitting in Kaduna on Monday dismissed the appeal of Aminu Sule Lamido, the 34-year old son of former Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido, against the decision of the Federal High Court, Kano which found him guilty of the charge of money laundering brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. Aminu Sule Lamido was arrested on December 11, 2012 by operatives of the EFCC, at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport on his way to Egypt for failure to declare the sum of $40,000 in the Customs Currency Declaration Form after initially declaring the statutory $10,000 to the Nigeria Custom Service. Aminu, a 2010 graduate of Mass Communication from Bayero University Kano, was subsequently arraigned on February 4, 2013, on a one-count charge of false declaration of foreign currency. The charge reads: “That you, Aminu Sule Lamido, on or about 11th day of December, 2012 at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano within the Jurisdiction of the Federal High Court while transporting in cash, the sum of $50,000 (fifty thousand dollars only) from Nigeria to Cairo, Egypt, falsely declare to the Nigeria Customs Service the sum of $10,000 (Ten Thousand dollars only) instead of the said sum of $50,000(fifty thousand dollars only) as required under Section 12 of the Foreign Exchange (Monitoring and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act Cap F34 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 and Section 2(3) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2011 and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 2(5) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act 2011”. Aminu was tried and consequently convicted on July 12, 2013 by a Federal High Court sitting in Kano and ordered to forfeit 25 percent of the undeclared sum. Dissatisfied with the judgment of the trial court, Aminu filed an appeal at the Court of Appeal, Kaduna Division, praying the Appellate court to set aside the judgment of the lower court. According to the spokesperson of the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, the Appellate court in its judgment, delivered by Justice H.A.O Abiru, upheld the decision of the lower court and resolved all issues raised against the appellant. Igbo presidency only possible after Buhari’s 8 years – APC chieftain December 7, 2015Premium Times The spokesperson of the South East chapter of the All Progressive Congress, Osita Okechukwu, has said the quest for Igbo presidency would be easily realized after eight years of President Muhammadu Buhari in power. The Igbo ethnic group is found in the five South-Eastern states of Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi and Imo. Speaking at the 100th anniversary celebration of Junior Chamber International in Enugu on Saturday, Mr. Okechukwu pleaded with the Igbo to support the Buhari administration to return Nigeria to the path of progress in the next eight years, especially because the president had demonstrated his desire to do so. “Once more I appeal we support President Muhammadu Buhari in constructing a progressive and prosperous Nigeria. “He has created platform for Infrastructure Fund to demonstrate his commitment in fixing federal roads nationwide, fast track the 2nd Niger Bridge and investing heavily in public infrastructure via prudent management, Foreign Direct Investment, recovery of looted funds and cooperation of the private sector. “Consequently, Buhari’s eight-year term is the fastest route to actualise our dream of president of Igbo extraction, through peaceful means and not through hate propaganda. “For the zoning convention is when you consider all factors in our favour, in 2023, as our brothers in the South West and South-South had been president since our return to civil rule in 1999.” Mr. Okechukwu punctured the claim by some youth in the South East that despondency, despair and gross unemployment are limited to the zone. He explained that the sordid situation is experienced nationwide and that it is worrisome to the president, governors, legislators and others, stressing, “nobody except sadists are happy that we are hungry.” He said the country must scrutinize the performance of the councillors, legislators, governors and president in order to make sure that they are not the one worsening the conditions of the people.........
