It was a fateful night in 2002. I went to the living room with my food to eat. The television was on art sport2 on Cable Mission Television (CMTV) *smiles*, and a football game was on. That match was what I later came to know as the Milan derby. I just knew that I liked the team on red and black... the rest is history.

Since then I adored this team. I saw the team win Juventus on penalties in the UCL final of 2003. I watched as they threw away a 3 goals lead vs Liverpool in Istanbul in 2005, I was heart broken when they lost to a Ronaldinho inspired Barcelona in the semi final of 2006. I saw the magic of Pirlo and Inzaghi to lift the UCL in 2007 (My favorite goal that year was Kaka vs Man united in the semi final of 2007. Yes, Gabriel Heinz and Patrice Evra can tell the story better).

After that came the gradual decline. I followed the fall of the Berlosconi empire on the club. I saw how the club finally won the Serie A in 2011 under Allegri. Then the final collapse after 2012: Zlatan and Thiago Silva was sold to PSG, Pirlo left for free to Juventus, the stalwarts of old all retired. It was really a mess. The club was sold to fake Chinese investors. The defaulted on their loan and the investment company took over the club. The club made losses and got punished by UEFA for breach of financial fair play rules.

Then something happened. I knew if the club was to ever come back, they must do it without spending money. Who else can perform such a magic but the stingy Ivan Gazidis of Arsenal. Gazidis became CEO in what I believe is the best signing Milan ever made in the last decade. Came with his free transfer and cheap market policy and found gold just like he did at arsenal in those years.

And after many years of struggle Milan is back to the Champions league, this time as underdogs *sad*. I felt bad when I saw the draws. But then I remembered that the Big Nights are what this cub is about. I fell in love with a club for big occasions. Milan isn't about beating Cagliari or Empoli or Torino. This is what Milan was made for... the big nights.

And what better place to start than Anfield. Let the show begin. Bring it all on.
