I was asked questions frm my CV, application form, course I studied(Engineering), general questions like strengths n weaknesses, problems faced by new businesses in naija n solutions and ofkus 'why Audit??'...It really depends on the partner u meet as dey seem to av their own styles

Those questions with shapes (also called inductive reasonin i think), also revise the shape questions in Gmat.. SHL is a testing format

Final interview is about a week or so after assessment centre.. U cud send me a mail concernin the AC info

Nope, all u will do is show dem ur originals n drop photocopies... U shud be done in 10-20mins... Assessment centre will come after dis (maybe 2 wks frm now)

That was in my mail also. Just go with a clear mind cus critical reasonin format changes every week (read Shl Abstract anyway) n interview questions dnt follow 1 pattern (depends on what u studied I think cus I wasnt asked anything abt Audit) and group exercise can be anything too (frm buildin shapes wit A4 paper to solving puzzles)

You'll be allowed to write the test but you likely wont start till next yr(March or September) if you're successful

If ur in audit, Yes. A 3-man panel interview wit about 15 observers(kpmg staff) in the room. Thats how mine was. I was in d second batch to do assessment centre in Audit (used to be 3 interviews before) so they might av calmed down on the whole Observers thingy by now

It depends on the department u applied for.. If its Audit den the next stage is assessment centre n if u pass dat its a partner interview

Where exactly in VI?? If it's their office then enter obalende bus then at obalende enter 'sandfield' or 'lekki' or 'Ajah' bus and tell the driver you want to drop at 'exxonmobil' (He will drop you before or after).. You then walk to the 'main entrance of Exxonmobil' (ask pips if you miss it)... Kpmg is abt 5-10mins walk down that straight road.

careytommy: first, your employers didnt keep their end of the deal by providing you with a vehicle for mobility. that alone is a 'strong' case of contract breach. how where you supposed to move around marketing their products without it, where they giving you transport allowance?
also, in this dysfunctional state of ours, who is going to arrest a man for choosing to retire from an uninspiring job. isn't it against labour laws?

Thats only if they put the 'provision of vehicle' in writing, if they dint then its his word against theirs in court n that wont hold... Would have adviced him to do such a bad piece of work that they have no choice buh to sack him and then he removes them frm his CV... The problem is that if they are wicked they can still refuse to release him... Infact just find a way pay that 250k if u cant stand it again, in life we make mistakes which we learn from and this is one of those mistakes. If u go to court you'll spend more than 250k n likely still lose... Ur even fortunate its just 250k, access bank is 2million

macpeter1: I dont know if there companies really wants to recruit. Even the hr cant answer the question within tin time given and score up to 50% with their negative marking. Even the time tickling is another distraction during test. God help us. 5 openings and 5000 candidates will sit for the test. Whats that.

I saw my test score by chance during my partner interview... There was no negative marking... And they are taking 100 pips in Audit alone this year, just pray n keep ur fingas crossed
