This just buttressed my observation, most of you just HATE TINUBU without a reason.

If you've took time to read his suggestion, you would have seen where he SUGGESTED the transaction cost to be absorbed by the CBN as "implementing" cost.

If Tinubu is contesting against SATAN , most of you'll still vote for Satan.

None of the presidential candidates is a SAINT.

May this man never come near the presidency with his zero knowledge of the business world.

If you do zero transaction cost , how would the payment platform make money .

He has just killed the whole essence of new currency with his limited views , once kidnappers know of this , they will bounce back

Most people saying this policy would curb vote buying are actually being smart by half because vote buying becomes more cheaper as 45% of voters are open to sell their vote

Aptly!! You understand the game plan. This policy would only affects Tinubu, reasons why he voiced out when he saw the handwriting on the wall.

This policy would likely cost APC about 10% of their traditional votes base especially in the SW.

This policy would leads to protest votes against Tinubu which is what the so-called Cabal are planning for... Or isn't it suspicious that most mainstream media are only on TINUBU matters and leave Atiku.

Atiku would win with all these crises that's rocking the nation and if there are to be a rerun, PO and Kwankwoso would LIKELY support ATIKU

So as I Yorùbá that I am, supporting any party aside LP makes me a tribal bigot ? Grow up, Bro . If you're man enough if e sure for you sey LP will win your ward, let's bet 100k each! We would give the money to someone popular on this platform. If not just continue with this your unrealistic dream of expecting LP to win

Alcatraz001:

This one is a tribal bigot. You think I am igbo?

And what is this obsession of APC bots with Igbos? I don’t see igbos as bad people. Why will you reduce labor party to an igbo party? Wetin concern igbos with the suffering of Nigerians for the past 8 years? It seems some of you live in a bubble and until that bubble is busted on the 25th, nothing will ever wake you guys up.

This OP is funny. More than 1/3 of people that newly registered for PVC did not collected their PVC due to this "wokeness" attitude.

And of the people that are new voters, more than half won't vote that day. Mostly from history, less than 50% of total registered voters would actually vote that day. Majority of the new voters won't vote that day. It's a known fact, forget Endsar or no Endsar.

ALSO lot of people confused total registered voters to voting popular. Eg. Anambra has 2.5 millions voters but doing the Gubernatorial election, the total voting population was less then 300k( that's like 12% of total eligible voters) while in Osun with 1.9 millions voters and 700k casted their vote ( that's around 42% )

This election is between APC and PDP. Though from my personal observation, I see PDP winning the election. LP will come 3rd probably because of the eastern voters but I see LP having less than 10% of the total votes.

Well back to your question. Let me use question to answer your question. Can you confident that LP will win your ward ?? Be sincere to yourself.

Most LP votes would be from metropolitan cities outside Eastern States. I can bet with you that LP votes in Abuja and Rivers would dwarfs all the Eastern States votes.....

Some comments are just funny.

An average Nigerian is corrupt and lawlessness is in our DNA. Lot of you shouting "in sane county" breaks traffic rules daily and some are even accomplice to traffic offenders.

Btw, the so called "sane countries" get there through collective sacrifices and being responsible.

If you want a sane Nigeria, be law abiding and obey the law whether it favours you or not.

I was determined not to last there as a casual worker so after my work schedule i will go into the control room and refinery to do 'boy boy' for the refinery operators and process engineers.

I did a lot of dirty work and relegate my self just to learn and allow them to even make an effort to teach me.

Most of my mates mocked me but the determination to be better didn't stop me

But now..... I can say am making much headway in the chosen profession that earn respect from those that where my teachers and the management staffs

I can say i even earn more than most of my superiors that taught me then.

Politics / Re: Cost Of Nomination Form For Primaries: Texas In USA Vs Nigeria by princejohnard(m): 3:06pm On Apr 22, 2022
loffyloffy:
This is a ridiculous and meaning less write up.

The total amount that most candidates even in the state house of assembly spend including the form is far more than what a presidential candidate will be spending in Nigeria.

Not to talk of presidential candidates.

https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/politics/2016-election/campaign-finance/&ved=2ahUKEwiV3aKv6Kf3AhWV63MBHfPLDQcQFnoECAsQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1yZ0Uj6AE6LRQx593VDc5A

Plus the candidates are supposed to raise this money from people backing their aspiration. It is a very good way of testing the popularity of the candidates, there readiness for the main election and narrowing down the field

Thank you for this.... Any small thing they would be bringing the US to the table.

If as a presidential candidate you can't raise 100m within your support system then go home... It's not for children.

This comparison is not relevant fr.

To fund election isn't a child's play. Nigeria presidential election campaign cost is in the north of 50 billions ( a party spent 35+billion nair in 2015 election ) , if as a candidate you can't raise 100m for your nomination form then go home.

Comparing Texas or even Alaska to Nigeria is a dumb for real. Read more on America electioneering and you we know that APC form price is child play.

Do you know in the USA citizens pay 'special tax' to fund the political parties candidate ? ~$ 200 ( #85,000 ) is paid by US citizens to bankrolled their candidates and this money is different from the donors committee oo...

APGA was allegedly said to have spend 2.5 billion naira to fund the last election in Anambra State, so if a State election cost that much imagine what the presidential election would cost.

Tom Brady was good but can by no standards on a stretched lenght be called a Greatest of All time in sports when compared to CR7. Legend would have just been the most appropriate term for CR7 to have used.

So, I don't know if to call it humility or just plain mockery.

There's Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Michael Schumacher, Muhammad Ali, Tom Brady, Roger Federer and Usain Bolt, they all set records in their respective fields but globally only one name comes to mind when the term G.O.A.T is used in sports.

Just like there is only one GOAT in showbusiness and he is Michael Jackson,
Likewise, there is only one GOAT in the world of sports, and he is Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro.

Seriously?? Well each to his/her opinion though...

Taiwan has always been Chinese.. Don't let Western propaganda fool you. Taiwan is not Ukraine. Taiwan is Chinese and Ukraine is not Russian. Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao reminds China of the enermous levels the west had to go in order to undermine her when she was weak and poor. China has got a good case to demand the return of Taiwan. The British are still in Falklands and The French controls West Africa and polenesia, yet they're the ones condemning Russia.

Democratic West? Is there anything democratic about the current world order? You live in Africa that has been more or else designated a mininig field, a continent being rapaciously raped by Western multinationals and agencies and you're talking of a democratic world order? What is democratic about Nigerias politics today as is supported by the West? I think most Africans suffer the political equivalent of the Stockholm syndrome in their rabid obeisance to western dictates..
