This was the car I used for the hustle back then, very strong, ensure it’s very clean, most riders wey no sabi car self think say na one big jeep like that, parts are relatively cheap (I used it before Tpain era), very smooth

Advice if you will be settling for it
1. Don’t buy new ball joint , go for the Tokunbo ones that have not been remade, always have extra
2. Don’t joke with the transmission oil at all, always check it
3. Limit going to very bad roads, protect your ball joint
4. Car has a very strong engine and transmission as long as you use the right oil
5. Ball joint, ball joint, ball joint.. always have extra and change it whether good or bad, every 6 month, if the one you remove is good, keep it and u can put back at the next change interval.
6. The market for its part is in oyingbo, I don forget the exact market name


We bought the car 950 in 2013 and sold it for 1.1m in 2023.

Will Bolt and Uber Accept this 1997 - 2001 Honda CRV.

I want to get a Car but I have a very low budget.
I have held on for a while if I could get more money somehow.
But I just keep spending what I have.

I see a very clean 2001 CRV that fits my budget.

Please I need your advice. The vehicle is good condition.

I just need to know if one can somehow use it on Bolt and Uber.

Yes, I still have my 206. And it's still kicking well.

I don't do Uber. I use it personally. But it can do Uber as it's highly fuel efficient and the engine is strong. Just follow the instructions I gave initially.

307 is good. All you need to do is

1. Adhere strictly to the changing your timing belt as at when due. And if you suspect your engine is leaking oil. Fix it on time, never let it reach the area where your timing belt is.

2. Do not remove your thermostat or convert fan to direct. Leave it at manufactures settings.

3. Buy original parts and get a *Peugeot Mech* to fix for you.

If you can do these things... You have no issues.

If you need help with these, you can reply. I use a 206.

Using a Corolla u make 4x or 5x ur fuel.

So if u use 5k fuel u make 20k
10k fuel u make 40k
20k fuel u make 80k.

Provided u don't do long distance drive to pickup for a very short trip repeatedly.

I use Honda city 2007. Fuel of 5k to make 18k. My car is 1.5 litre engine. On a normal day before fuel price increment,i normally use 5k to make 37k. Though i don't work during the day time. Only night. Now i am looking forward to getting a smaller car with 1.1 litre engine capacity so i won't worry much about fuel anymore. Nowadays if you want to have savings,just focus on the cars with 1.5 litre engine capacity downwards. The issue is that Corolla mentality has finished Nigerians which is why everybody doesn't think outside the box of Corolla. Everybody believes Corolla is the only suitable car for the hustle. Those Suzuki guys don't worry about fuel,go and verify for yourself,their engine is 3 plugs. The people who came up with that idea of 3 plugs already calculated the future ahead. You think they don't have sense? If you want to buy a car for this hustle,first thing to consider is fuel consumption rate of that vehicle before every other thing,unless you want to be working for filling stations and be paying for apps without saving anything for yourself.

Leave him let him take the one that is available,where you see cars? No cars anywhere o. He can't just sit down and be waiting for rental when HP is readily available. He will overcome the challenges of this hustle as long as the car is the type that doesn't consume fuel,to make it possible,let him go for a car that has engine capacity of atleast 1.5 litre downwards. For now let him just forget about 1.8 litre engine cars. This is a common sense and you know common sense is not common like they say. If possible let me forget about Corolla and go for any car below 1.5 litre engine,alot of Corolla guys are crying for fuel but they will come online to say corolla is the best.

For a full day work 12hrs, Like how much Fuel is the Corolla going to Take?

Don't discourage him. Let him try,there is no harm in trying. He can't be at home if there is no other source of income. Nobody will feed him and his family. Most people started with weekly remittance as newbies and they overcame. So let him try. Others in the waters can also lecture him. No be one day pikin begin dey waka.

I was just wondering @BAZ001 claims.
I'm beginning to wonder....these guys that drive Suzuki for moove and remit 56k weekly or 9,400 per day.
And they are required to do 12 trips per day.

How much would they then eventually make for themselves?

When I compare that to a 40k remittance that I would be doing, And BAZ001 says 30-40k weekly after remittance wouldn't be possible in Jan/Feb.

What then makes the difference for these suzuki guys?
Do they make less than 30-40 for themselves per week?

Take away say fuel money 50k... i.e if 50k fuel can work o (I e appx: 83ltrs)

I've been hearing btw 40k to 60k depending the car type.

For those who drive their own car you have 40-60k to save that's if you dint have responsibility or other source of income oh but for a driver on rentage he has approximately 30-40k take home per week.

50 trips for in a week? That's 1k bonus per trip
If you decline a trip you will have to do additional 5 trips to up your activity score to get the bonus and my people believe it's a good thing

50 trips in a week....gets a bonus of 10k for that week.
Apparently that's #200 bonus per trip🤔
