A friend's son (his father a tailor) studying fashion design in school is urgently in need of a place/fashion design house to begin his industrial training. Deadline given to him is next monday. Although he's applied for one earlier, response came in late about their intern position being full or something like that.

I recently found an opportunity on this platform (which I do really appreciate about this platform) and referred it to his dad who isn't a nairaland user. Even had to send him the link to the post. This was early on about a week or few days after he had applied at his choice place where he could do his IT. However, it turned out his son liked the opportunity but wasn't his preferred location according to his dad. It's been a while and his dad stopped by at my place very early yesterday morning as I was prepping for the day.. that's when he let me know the urgency of his visit or reason behind his visit.

I told the dad I'll do my best in finding a place & I'd be using this platform, too. Any recommendation or referral for this passionate young man would be deeply appreciated 🙏

You just can't escape CBN. You have to go though them to get what you want. Any payment gateway system you may have someone "build" for you is in vain if it's not approved by the CBN.

This is madness. Information like this isn't cheap. Just keep your 10k to yourself. This is one my advice. Building a payment gateway system is beyond the scope of a programmer or developer. You need the CBN permission (license) and the financial capacity.

There weren't any "post removed or hidden". Currently, I can't use my VS code and other apps I installed recently on my pc/laptop, it says "This app can't run on your PC - to find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher." - your financial capacity,

It's lucrative if you've got everything in place - the right niche, strategy and cash or budget. Seriously, the last one is still as important. You still need money to make money. Though you don't need money buying inventories or stock products, you need to budget for things like your website and marketing to reach a wider audience. There's pretty much nothing to dropshipping. It's a really lucrative business. The only people who fail in this business are those who chose the wrong niche and/or didn't have solid strategies.

Ask me anything about drophipping from idea stage to growth. And you're right, those who publish ebooks on them hype this kind of online business without highlighting the pitfalls and addressing them.
