I know what the guy did wasn't good and his reply equally wasn't mature but the truth is that no published work is safe once posted online, most Nigerians don't even know its a crime to copy people's work. No matter how much you curse and swear they will never stop unless you take legal action which 99% of Nigerian writers shy away from. As for my end, my stories are still copied and I still take action on anyone I caught copying it , but that shouldn't make us stop what we have passion for, which is story writing. I'm ready to help my fellow writers fight plagiarism and as for the shatzee guy, I have cautioned him, he won't copy the story again. Another thing I also noticed is that the disclaimer at the bottom of naira land, doesn't work on the interest of Nairaland writers. You guys can't imagine the number of Facebook pages that boom with Nairaland stories.
