Birth Story!
Year 2020 for me is suppose to be a year of slaying, pregnancy was not part of my vision... fast forward to February after valentine i remembered that i have not seen my period but i thought it was because of stress since pregnancy was the last thing on my mind.

One week later, period refuse to come so i did a pregnancy test and it came out positive.... i had a kind of mixed feelings but i later left everything to God.

First trimester came with it's own package but it wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be. Second trimester was so sweet....

I started having false labour on October first, i went to the hospital and i was 2cm dilated so i was sent home to come back on my next appointment... I got checked again and still 2cm. I kept having contractions but was stuck at 2cm. On Sunday night i decided to come and stay in hospital because i don't want to risk giving birth at home since i was expecting a big baby. Doctor kept checking and no improvement so he decided that he was going to ripen my cervix and that was scheduled for Tuesday night.

Fortunately doctor was so busy that we couldn't do it, on Wednesday i got checked again and was 4cm-5cm dilated so he started passed the drip and that was how the drama started. Contractions were hitting backing to back and thank God the process was successful. At exactly 6pm, i pushed out my baby with the help of vacuum and he gave out a loud cry. He was cleaned and my tear was also stitched.

To God be the glory mother and baby are doing fine.

I wish all the waddling mummies a safe delivery and may God give all TTC women their own testimony.

Good afternoon mamas and papas
So, yesterday I was having this mild pain in my tummy. The pain was similar to the onset of my very first labour. I laid down on the bed and the discomfort moved to the front of my bump, just somewhere below the abdomen and above the vagina. I thought I would find myself in the hospital today but waking up this morning, the pain and discomfort was gone.
Should I count it as false labour or what? I didn't know what to think.
@kaffy4bill and other moms, come and help me out o. Walking is another difficult thing for me now. And the contractions are at regular intervals but painless

I just hope all October mamas won't port to September... since yesterday that I came back from the hospital I can't walk well, I had to lie on my side because when I'm up it always look as if baby want to drop... the heaviness is not something that I can explain. In all I pray we hold on to atleast first week of October.

@Ziby may God comfort you and give you double for your loss.

BUMPY TUESDAY

We hit 37 weeks today. If I say I'm not tired ehn, issa big lie. Eagerly waiting for baby's arrival like rapture
I'm not a FTM o, yet I can't identify or differentiate between baby's movements and Braxton Hicks Contractions. _{I'm shaming}
Been eating lots of pineapples, pawpaw and oranges lately, though. Hoping they help

Team October, hope we're ready?
Thank God for those who have ported so far.
Healthy and sound babies, strong and happy moms, and elated dads and siblings. That's how our stories shall be in Jesus name.

Cute bump.... I'm almost ready o, baby is measuring ahead every week and as it is now they've push us to first week of october which wasn't like this with my previous pregnancies and since I'm using the same hospital and sonographer I think he is just going to be a big baby. By this weekend I should start pineapple therapy.

Almighty and ever living God, we thank and praise you for the gift of life and the miracle of conception.
We thank you for how far you have carried us in this journey of pregnancy. Your name alone be praised.
We commit all September/October expectant moms into your hands, Lord. May we bring forth our babies safe, sound and healthy in Jesus name. At the time of our deliveries, may there be no complications in Jesus name.
Other pregnant moms, Lord, grant them sufficient grace and strength to pull through the journey and bring forth their seeds peacefully in Jesus name.
For as many of our sisters, relatives, and friends who are trusting you for this miracle, Father grant them their heart's desires in Jesus name.
We also pray for the men in our lives, that Lord you will bless them with wisdom, finances and wherewithal to support us in this journey in Jesus name.
For our health care personnels attending to us, grant them the wisdom and prudence needed to cater for us in Jesus name.
Thank you for answered prayers in Jesus name I pray.

It's bumpy Tuesday... here is us at 34weeks.
Bump is not big, just like the bump of some first timers... baby doesn't kick again but moves a lot... I guess the place is too small for him.... tired of waddling...Can't wait to hold him.

My beautiful princess arrived yesterday 5th Sept at 33 weeks weighing 1.8kg through emergency CS because of PIH and preeclampsia. Baby is undergoing observation at the NICU. mother is recovering well. Daddy is doing great too.
