Hausa Organisation Advises Kinsmen Against Joining Fulani-Organised Protests Against Tinubu, Reminds Youths Such Was Forbidden Under Buhari

A Hausa socio-cultural group under the umbrella of Hausawa Tsantsa Development Association (HTDA) has raised an alarm alleging that some Fulani people are plotting to instigate protests against President Bola Tinubu’s government.

The group, which made the allegation in a statement dated July 9 and signed by Kalthoom Alumbe Jitami, warned all Hausa youths across Nigeria against participating in the alleged planned protests, asking Hausa youths to be wary and vigilant of the plots.

The statement read, “By this call the youths are enjoined to shun every entreaties at them to join in the protest.

“This is so because the motive is self because the Fulanis are not the ones in control of power at the presidency now.

“It was this same tactic they employed to ruin the then government of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and to bring Buhari to power.

“Over 7 million of Hausawa were killed within the 8 years rule of Buhari. They forbid protests against Buhari's when Nigerians genuinely called for it, citing Islam that it was unIslamic to protest against the government or its leaders!

“Has the same Islam now permitted protests against the government? This we must not forget!

“The Hausawa Tsantsa is hereby dissociating itself from this protest in all its ramifications.

“That they want to use hunger in the land and LGBTQ as a basis for the protest is hypocritical because it was the unabetting attacks on farms and farmers that caused food shortages.

“We have nothing to do with it whatsoever and we are calling on all native nationalities of Nigeria to similarly dissociate themselves from these evil plans against our dear native land.

“We once again pledge our loyalty to the federal government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and pray for God's guidance and protection over him, his family and the government of Nigeria.

“We equally pray for the Chief of Defense Staff and teams of his military for more wins on their side as they tackle terrorism, banditry and all manner of felony against the Nigerian state. We pray for the peace and well-being of Nigerians.”

SaharaReporters recently reported that a former federal lawmaker and human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani, had alleged that there were plans by northern political forces to use former President Muhammadu Buhari to undermine the government of President Tinubu.

During an interview with Arise News TV, Sani alleged that there are indications of a political realignment underway in the North, aimed at mobilising support against President Tinubu's government.

He claimed that certain political forces are seeking to exploit President Buhari's influence as a rallying point to galvanise opposition and potentially destabilize the current administration

Sani said, “It is a tradition, a culture, a norm or a ritual that each time you have a Sallah celebration, prominent people do visit the former President of this country, but I must clear the air by making a point.

“First of all, there is evidence of rallying of forces, regrouping of political forces from the North trying to use former President Buhari as a rally point in order to evict the government of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu."

I am an Abakaliki man. Ezza people are my distant relatives. So naturally I should side them but I don’t.

I side with the state government who sided with the Uffiom people. A white paper agreement was gazetted in the ministry of justice this February that Ezza people are guests and Uffiom are their hosts, the traditional ruler in Uffiom is officially recognised and the Ezza are officially recognised as guests but Ezza can’t have traditional stool, however they are part of the land and are semi-autonomous.

I side with State government communique and Uffiom people. Even though I’m not related at all to Uffiom who migrated from Benue and Cross river in 17th century.

Let me tell you the story.


Uffiom migrated around 17th century to meet that land as Ngbo land . And I am from Ngbo. They waged war against us but couldn’t win, they travelled to recruit Ezza warriors who are notorious and popular warlords. Ezza had a deal that if they waged the war for them and they won, they would be part and parcel of the land for 100 years. Uffiom accepted and together they defeated us and pushed us further South and East of Ngbo land.

100 years has passed and Ezza have refused to go back to their land, claiming they’ve buried their fathers in Uffiom land and it’s against their tradition to exhume corpses. And they don’t have anywhere else to go. Quite well, Ezza is enterprising and have connections abroad and in Lagos and together they’ve developed the Uffiom land to a large extent but see the Uffiom aboriginals as having a backward lifestyle with no resources or wealth to develop their segments of the society, left for them they can turn Uffiom land to modern town if they are the sole occupants.

Uffiom people see their land grabbing and overbearing nature and want them out. They refuse. Traditional rulers start to incite locals and fight break out!


Just like what you have in Palestine and Israel at Gaza. Two tribes, one city. Nobody gree for eachother.

Anyway, I have decided to buy a carton parent chicks for now. So, I will have to make preparation for managing about 200 to 300 new chicks every week. I don't want to go this route, but it is the only option I think is available now. Paying above 400naira for broiler day old is crazy... not to talk of paying N950 and which might enter N1500 or N2000. Bola Tinubu has opened the border for poultry meat to enter Naija, so I am sure a greater percentage of the market share for local producers will reduce. Where is the gain if I have to buy N20k+ feed per bag, medications, and then pay above N1k for day old. There is no profit on it. So, I am going via this route.

The next request is that if you know how to do artificial insemination and you have enough experience, kindly reach out to me. I know even you that don't know about it will want to say you can do it. I will know if you are a wayo person. So, if you are sure of yourself, get in touch. Also, if you have experience with just managing parent stocks (not AI), get in touch with me too. I am open to even getting more parent stocks ...meaning, I can enter the hatchery business gradually at my pace. Please, I don't need you to buy me anything cos I can source for myself. So, keep off selling to me anything. I will discard you immediately. If you have suggestions, give me...I will look into it. If I need you to get it, I will ask you. So, anyone contacting me should remove his or her mind from making money from me crazily. I don't need you to approach me and start writing a N50 million incubator with another generator of N30million. I will just throw you away like a shitty paper. So. Get his straight. I want to start small...and grow at my pace. So, buzz off if your mission is to come import for me equipment. I can do that. Don't even go there. Your skill on parent breeders is what I need.
