Mark222: But I must tell you that going through the student route will give you about 60% to 70% cahnce of getting a visa, while through language route will give you about 40% to 50% chance of getting a visa. Again, you will pay up to 700k for the language program fee, whereas, you can get some National universities that will take 1.1 million as tuition fee. It's about 400k difference, why not hustle for the 400k and go through student route? 2 Likes |

Mark222: Your chances of getting a visa depends on many things; If you're above 25 years going for a language course in South Korea, it's suspicious as they will want to ask you why you don't want to learn it in Lagos or Abuja where they have Korean language centres. If you can give them a good reason, of which one of them is "that the reason you want to learn Korean language in Korea is to have the opportunity to learn their rich CULTURE in their environment other than learning their language", you maybe issued a visa. Many have travelled through language program route. Try it, you might be lucky. What school did you apply and how much is their application fee? |
Business To Business / Re: PALM OIL BUSINESS( Productions, Sales and Storage) by princetx(m): 10:40pm On Jun 22, 2019 |
I want to venture into this business, trying to buy cheap and sell high, even if after expenses and I make N450 from each keg I will be fine. I don't mean buying and storing to be sold later- No! I mean buying low and selling high to make a little profit, but my problem is that I don't want to sell my oil in the market to these market women. Can I survive in this business doing only supplies to either West or North? What if you pay the huge expenses from east here to either Lagos or North to supply and after getting there your buyer runs away or tells you that your iol is bad and as a result of that prices you below your cost price? |

chaiks: Yes, there are other scholarship programs run by many institutions apart from Government scholarship. but you qualify if you have a good grade in your first semester and other semesters, grade of about 3.5/5 or above or if your Test of Proficiency In Korea language is above level 3. You will get about 50% scholarship. |

KHAERL: Search for schools that offer the course you want. From their website you can apply and if you are admitted you may be issued a student visa at the embassy. Most national universities collect between 4 million won to 5 million won ( N1.6 million to N1.8 million naira) depending on your course. To survive in 6 months including hostel fee, you should have about N900,000 to N1,200,000 this amount also depends on the kind of hostel (single occupant, or shared room, and how economical you are in spending money). |

Yampotatocarrot: This one na big thing ooo To get a land as lease or to buy? This will require a lot of documents and paper work. I think they should also have a different policy for foreigners acquiring a land. Farm is done in a large scale in South Korea, if you want to operate as an individual you go carry plenty money oooo But if you finally get all these approval and start farming what they consume most and supply to them, even though you will not meet up with their demand, you go hammer money be that. |

phemmzy96: Yes! You should be able to find a job that will keep you going but I doubt if you will find such job just after arriving. You maybe able to find such job after about 6 months of your stay. You never sabi their language you wan work, how you go take do am na? So, go with enough money that will keep you going for at least 4 to 5 months and by then you may have learnt the basic Korean language, so you can then look for work. |

dancingkween: I don't know much about this but to my knowledge I don't think transcripts are ligalised or authenticated as most institutions will not give it to you but will send to the school your are applying when you pay a particular fee. In my school they refused to give me but that I should pay N36,000 so they can send it to the school. What I know that should be ligalised and authenticated are your result (certificate) and maybe your o'level result. 1 Like 1 Share |

Travel / Re: Thread for South Korea prospective students by princetx(m): 2:43pm On Jun 12, 2019 |
acadollar: I disagree with you. What do you mean by No work. There are jobs, with business visa you will work illegally though and may be caught, sometimes you may be lucky and nothing happens. If you go there with a business visa, go to any university and seek to enroll in their language program, if you are lucky to gain admission you will be issued a student visa which will allow you stay legally and do some minor jobs in the school or outside the school after about 6 months. Our master please for once encourage us, we de suffer for Nigeria here. We go soon die if we no run comot here. 2 Likes |

kisszhira: So during buying we must turn all the oil from the seller's keg to our own keg? If I'm buying 10 keg can't I just give the seller my 10 empty keg and carry his own filled keg, pay him and go. Must we turn the oil to my own keg? |

kisszhira: OK, thank you. When you go to buy oil with kegs, do you go with BIG 25 litres or the SMALL 25 litres? Will the sellers not notice the BIG keg and complain? If you go to sell with the SMALL keg, won't the buyer notice and complain? Sorry for all the questions ooo |

Again, when the oil at the bottom side of the plastic drum thickens, how do desolve it and pour it out, considering the fact that the drum has only two small openings. |
