yeah....he has a plan of what he'll do, but he'll take time to plot each arc and link them up few years before actual writing....Smiles was 1st mentioned in Sabaody(2006), but it was in 2010 he completed the plan for Punk Hazard arc and started it in 2011, Dressrosa colour spread showed twas completed in 2012 and Zou was done by 2013...I bet Wano arc and Reverie has been sorted out too....


SBS 79 is out, full translations comes later....but if Sanji gives the Doffy executives a parage shot(face modifyier).

And O Kimco, OP isn't the longest series as you think... In that category its just number 29. There be several series that have 1000+ chapters, yet OP surpassed them all with just 500+ chapters. Now its on 802 chapters, no manga series is seeing its back.
Naruto, Bleach and a few others had more publicity than OP....but OP didn't need publicity to beat them all...cos it had quality with it. Hec bleach can't even compete with it.

2 guiness world record of what? Sales? Dat is hardly an indication of quality. Transformers series do well in box office, that don't mean they are good. If you think one piece is the best manga then well....I'll have what you're having. There are well written proper mangas out there that are in a less popular genre. One piece, like most shounen, appeal to the lowest commoner a lot. Not saying we are lowest common denominators for liking shounen, it's jux appeals to the masses and they are attracted to vague things like nakama powerups and deux ex machina etc. I watch shounen for the action and to see if some mangakas are actually trying to bring good stories to the genre. Thank God some actually try.

It's a sad day when one piece is the best manga of all. Very sad. There are other genres out there, people will do well to check them out.

2 guiness records...1st in 2011, 'most circulated manga series ever' and with each year it doubles up on that. 2nd in 2015, 'most circulated comic series by 1 author', that's if you understand what it means...ever since comics started (of which manga is a comic too), in every language and country, One Piece is the comic that have circulated the most numbers, and it beat this record when its just halfway there, by the time it finishes, twill take a millinium for any other to do so.
So then, One Piece beat manga records in 2011 and comic records in 2015, You can try coming up with whatever reason to downplay the series, but bruh, you simply cant beat its awesomeness...even other mangaka which you think have better series have all bowed to OP with recognition....
And you say you watch shounen for action right?? because most just sets up things and enter a fight, and that's why you complained of boring fight scenes...but like I said earlier, One Piece is a story and not an action series, and you still complained of slow pace because you were oblivious of its story pattern. That's why it has already far outshone other series in same category...
Sales doesnt indicate quality right? anyone who studies Economics will tell you that it only applies to short term stuff....when something have kept being best selling for several years, it simply proves it is quality.

Fact: It has a quality storyline and it was and is still recognized as the best series right now and twill still lead in years to come....

My observation..... The sunny is tied on the elephant. So Sanji and co are already there.

Zou is on a 1000 year old elephant and have a weird tribe that hates humans and have secluded themselves for those long years......get ready for some revelation on the Void century, poneglyph, Ancient Kingdom and maybe Ancient weapons.
Dressrosa is Alabasta....Zou seems like Skypiea.

The seven deadly sins is my next target. But twill be around November. I'll check out the anime 1st since that was what gave it the current boost its enjoying. But the storyline looks interesting.

Not really....it has been in top 3 ranking since 1999 (16 years now) and has been ranking 1st since 2007(8 consecutive years). Still currently leading this year which will make its 9th year in a row (and 17 years). 2000-2003 it also had its 4 years unbeaten.

For starters, YES you must have realised this chapter's high point- i.e. doflamingo speech made you remember series 'A Game of Thrones' and you're wondering whether Oda is a fan of that series?. Yeah Oda watches GOT And now a game of thrones to decide who becomes the next pirate king has begun!! Don't be surprised if characters get killed off from the next arc onwards XD
Secondly,
The person Lucci was talking to on the den-den mushi was KaKu, most of the japanese readers figured it out because of his unique speech pattern. Looks like the guy beside lucci was spandam, he must be happy to make spandam as his underling lol
Third,
The guy who was targeting to attack marine ships and take back doflamingo was JACK, he was previously mentioned by an underworld broker as an extremely crazy pirate. Jack is Kaido's underling which can be seen from the jolly roger he uses. An interesting thing to note is, his ship has a figurehead of an elephant,

Other trivial stuff,
luffy's shirt has a design of corrida colosseum's logo on his back. The Shc posters pics are taken on fishman island except for God Usopp's.
The autographs which strawhats gave to bartolomeo says, "To Bartolomeo" by usopp, "To Bro" with a star by Franky, Robin drew a doodle of chicken, zoro's is a kanji for sword, and luffy's simply says "ME".

I bet we know that the Going Merry and Thousand Sunny have some real life ship modelled after them. I'm betting that this hilarious ship will soon have a real life model.

Naaa, there's no real reason for it to climb that high. Luffy only beat down DD. Law who shat on the warlord title and also fought DD got a small raise compared. The bounties are okay.
