I mentioned about izanagi not izanami. Izanami doesn't require senju cells but as you saw with Itachi, it requires time to prepare. A time which Obito didn't give.
As for izanagi which is an instant technique, it needed Senju cells. I took the trouble of checking it up to clear your doubts @Csami.

Obito's tech can only be countered if one is aware of its nature and can match it with speed and also knows that its coming.

Izanagi is a technique that requires a form of the rikudo's powers. Someone who possesses both yin and Yang. But unlike the Rinnegan, it can work with normal sharingan.

Sharingan or no sharingan, one can't just analyse Obito's tech at the spot. The fact remains that Minato ran away from it before he could recollect himself. And that kind of luxury wasn't given to the Uchiha. And Minato was able to run because he saw Obito coming. The Uchiha didn't.

Well, even till the point he died, he kept insisting twas so. I really think Kishi made a change there somehow. I mean, Itachi claimed to Love his brother, and wanted to drive him nuts. Claimed to Love Konoha, and wouldn't mind if Sasuke killed Naruto...He's my favorite character along with Kakashi, but somethings didn't really add up.

I saw a plot where the uchihas were ambushed and one of them activated izanagi and it wasn't up to 3secs their enemies were gone. So what obito did is similar to what that clan did.

There may be other skilled ones, but then, izanagi is only activated by someone with Senju cells. The only living Senju of that era wasn't hanging around in the village. So its possible none had it.

And once again, it doesn't matter whether they were awake or asleep, they werent expecting an attack and it was night time.
I gave you the Anbu squad example to show you that even those who were prepared couldn't hold their grounds for a minute.
And you seem to forget that Minato ran away from Obito 1st, before coming back with a strategy to beat him and Minato only survived it because he too could teleport.

I don't think its right to call plotholes 'unnecessary'. Well maybe its because I have interest in literatures and tend to analyse what I read. Anyway, many which people call holes ain't really holes though once it doesn't interrupt the flow of the story.

@Csami. Surprise attacks don't only work in gun fights. And one can't really dodge Obito's tech even in the daytime talk less of when its dark. Check all of Obito's fight before the war. Even Minato couldn't really keep up with him, even though they were fighting face to face, he had to fly away. To be able to counter Obito, a ninja may need a good sensory skill and immense speed and alertness which the Uchiha may not really have afforded at that time.

The Anbu elite squad that were in charge of keeping Kushina's birth place were surely alert, but Obito still took them all out without Minato and co noticing an intruder. It means those guards themselves didn't know what hit them in that instant.

Woah. I just read the last chapter. The Win has been destabilized. But here on is where I see Kanki pulling a comeback. The Zenoe clan isn't finished yet. I'd like to see Kanki's real plan. The Saki tribe that should be with Raido hasn't been sighted yet.

I saw this colour spread on net. To note this, BB was drawn with a human hippopotamus in Oda's mind. Now this spread shows a Hippo challenging the Straw Hats. Foreshadowing....

Its a fact that the clan weren't expecting any attacks.
Its also a fact that twas a night attack when the lights have gone out. Don't compare it with Pain who lunched an all out open attack by day time.
Its also a fact that twas done by only 2 people.... Itachi and Obito.
Itachi himself had no real grudge towards the clan, so when he was given the job, he contacted 'Madara' to help him out.
Obito himself have been moving in and out of Konoha unnoticed, so its not hard for him to appear in pitch darkness and kill off people without being noticed.
As for Itachi, he also took his parents unawares and that was because of Sasuke......and yes, he had the MS before then. It awoke around when Shisui died. He didn't kill Shisui though. (And this is the plot hole....why did he keep pressuring Sasuke to kill his best friend for the MS, making it seem like its the only way...while that wasn't his own way).

Obito did all the killings...Itachi only killed his parents.

One Piece volume 80 will cover chapters starting from #796, Soldier’s Conviction. In addition to the conclusion of the Dressrosa arc, it will be the first volume to cover content from the Zou arc.

Its predecessor, One Piece volume 79, consisted of ten chapters, 786-795. Released on Oct. 3, One Piece volume 79 sold 1,467,741 copies in the first 2 days.

900 years ago, a Kingdom once existed, very peaceful, prosperous and powerful. At a time, they sought to extend their riches to every other nations around them. This action provoked the anger of 20Kings from other Kingdoms who came together in an alliance and fought against that Kingdom. A clan called the D clan were the most troublesome opponents to those Kings.

The series of battles took place within the period called the void century because the victorious 20Kings, erased every trace of the records within that 100years. But before that Kingdom lost out totally, they sent out coded messages (Poneglyph) to different lands across the globe which they could trust. And some of them also scattered to different places, avoiding total annihiliation and raising offsprings there.
The Poneglyph in Fishman island confirmed to us the name or the nickname of one of the major persons in that Ancient Kingdom....JoyBoy. He made a promise to the Fishmen to take them to dry ground, but during the war, he couldn't keep that promise.
Also, sometime during then, a man known as Vander Decken, lived in Fishman Island, but later on, lived on his ship for the rest of his life.
3 powerful weapons, now called the Ancient weapons, named Pluton (a large warship), Poseidon (the mermaid princess) and Uranus (yet unknown) also played a part in the war. Their records were seemingly destroyed, but they were rather passed down through history in the Ancient Language on the Poneglyph.

800 years ago, after the battles, 19 0f those Kings left their kingdom and went over to Mariejois, a city built on the red line, and called themselves the Celestial Dragons. They created the WG and ultimately made themselves the rulers of the whole world placing every other person or race beneath their feet. 1 of the Kings, the Nefetari Dynasty of Alabaster, however refused to leave his country and remained their as Kings.
Even as Celestial Dragons, the stories of the fierce battle with the D's centuries ago is still fresh and they are seemingly wary of any D that comes up since they are always troublesome.
Now, when these written texts are palced together and connected, 1 should be able to see what the Ancients wanted to do and the things they left behind for the next generations to accomplish....

Roger discovered all the hidden texts during his pirate life and was able to decipher them all. Then he wrote the ultimate one, the Rio Poneglyph and left it on Raftel island (or so they say)...together with whatever else he left behind, he called it 'ONE PIECE'
And whoever will find One Piece will carry the grugdes of centuries ago, and challenge the whole world to a fight.


Honestly, there are lots of questions from this and mysteries which would need answers....hopefully, Zou would provide a few answers. But then, whenever Oda answers 1 curiosity, he raises 10 more at once.

lol, same here with Kanki, its his battle ingenuity I like about him...but both his group and himself are basically psyco....Just look at their structure. Some weakling soldiers may be tempted to run away before fighting them and any village he gets to, he skewers everyone. He's badass but insane.
That's why I dont believe he'll be among the Great Generals...The path to China which was passed from Sho to Sei through Ouki is different from the path Kanki walks.

It can't be Kaido making the weapons. I actually suspected so because, knowing how detailed Oda use to be, there was nothing like a weapon factory in Dressrosa...all we saw was a weapon store. Someone much bigger is doing that business with Doffy. Doffy's business with Kaido was mainly the Smiles, and that's why Law just wanted that factory down...we're yet to see the big mercenaries of the underground....Doffy did say that he's holding the reins of many monsters. So we'll see them crawling out 1 after the other.

Yeah, Oda did say that, especially cos of the position competition they had. He also once said he'll include the ninja world in his series...Ultimately, if Naruto war had been done better, it might have had that upperhand for awhile.
I also had trouble with the anime quality...infact, I just started watching OP just to see why this 'shitty' pictures are rated above Naruto...skipped so many episodes till I reached Ennies Lobby arc, that was when I acknowledged its story...then I stopped and went back to episode 1 to follow the lines...what I found I skipped was so amazing.

I did not skip that, how could I? I still read part of the coalition arc, stopped when the huge Chu Commander was killed by Tou and Mangekou by Shin. I then skipped to the Rebellion arc and finished it, assuming that it ended in the death of Seikyou and the passage of his caucus to Rui.
