The seas are definitely still ruled by the Yonko. And no matter how much unrest Joker's absence will cause in the underground, peeps like Shanks and the Revolutionary army will curb it.
Remember when WB died, although some islands under his protection suffered a bit, Shanks personally tamed Kaido a day before, so things didn't go outta hand after he ended the war.
Shanks could have been the next pirate king if he wants to, he must have sailed with Roger and Rayleigh on their way to Raftel, surely he still knows the way, but it could be that he's sole reason of sailing is to set some sorta control on the four seas. Teach replacing WB just set a new villain equilibrium, the only major problem the world faced then was the other supernovas causing a ruckus for 2.5 years, that's all.
Kaido not getting more smiles means he can't multiply his army, and the weapon dealers wont get more ammunitions, that might create a bit of havoc now, but will be better for the world in the long run, since that all has stopped. And I believe that soon when the Revolution Army start getting involved, The WG and navy will have their wings clipped, and it will be the dawn of a new age.

Honestly Shanks can't stop the coming wave. We're talking of all the elements of the underground market, the other yonko and the supernova causing various troubles at various places. Not to talk of people going to disrupt the CDs in mariejois (its high time it happens). Shanks himself will get involved in the war. Until the Pirate King is declared, nothing can stop this rampaging age. Everyone will join the rampage until that dawn comes.

I read some of the histories last nite esp from mangafox & also wikipedia but wikipedia gave me a slight difference.....maybe it'z cos I wasn't too interested yet seeing that I waz more consumed on my reading & wanting to catch up to u guyz in tha manga...

Yeah, try not to read the history yet, especially not from Wikipedia. The thing is that so many people had records on that China era, some correct and some wrong. There were also most who were correct on some points and wrong on the other. Some wrote with bias and sentiments and a lot of things too. Hara had to spend much time sorting things out before he started this manga....wiki really didn't do that. Most times, mangafox guys had to change the records based on what Hara gave out in his story.
The big difference is that in history, Shin wasn't actually a notable general, but here, Hara is developing him to be 1.

I do read the dialogues but understanding the action is something else. At times I get very confused cause I misread the actions but I have to hand it to you guys, y'all awesome. I think I'll just be patient and wait till the anime is complete.

Actually, when they were still young, SHK was stronger and normally beats Moubu. But gradually Moubu got stronger to match him due to daily fights and they became close friends. I think on raw strength Moubu might have the edge now. But if they're to lead armies to fight, SHK will definitely beat hell outta Moubu.
But SHK isnt an active general currently.

I really don't know how you guys understand the manga.

Read the dialogues, imagine the actions or movements, it may take a while but you'll get used to it. Anime should've been better though, with the fitting theme songs and all that...but it adds many unnecessary scenes and sometimes loses the flow of the story and its author.

Lol. history doesn't belong to one nation alone. Some Chinese have also written about the Japanese Edo period. Hara(kingdom mangaka) spent 4-5 years studying the Chinese history in other to develop this story and he's actually writing from the conclusion he came to through the perspectives of many. I like his style really and how he's developing Shin from almost nobody.

Concerning the threats, its not just about Ceaser.... There are other heavyweights in the underground other than Doffy who also rely on his trade. Apart from the yonko, their may be other powerful people who'll raise dust due to those events.
