I always thought Foxy pirate/Davy back fight arc were fillers.
Saw a theory somewhere saying Weeble is a zombie created by Moria and his doctor, with the Frankenstein like stitch on his body. Could be he's related to him sha. Oda no fit kill us

That theory cant be real though, his stitches might be injuries. but......lets see. The Davy back were canon, but the 3rd round was filler....Oda wrote it so he could use those spare weeks to complete the plan for Ennies Lobby before he starts up the Water 7 arc...so it didn't real feel like part of the story.

Naruto at a time became more popular because it had a heavy publicity, Bleach too enjoyed that. Also, among anime only fans, Naruto topped due to better anime quality and simulation. Plus its more action packed ninja theme...when it comes to the anime world, Naruto had a greater success than every other series of its time.
OP on the other hand didn't need to make a publicity because it hit the spot right after release, and then slowly climbed up and maintained its rank. Because of the 'shitty' drawing/animation, it doesn't readily invite audience, but most people, when they overlook that, and actually take time with it, they be like, 'why did I judge this by its cover?? At least 80% of current OP fans had this trouble and a great %age of its fans concentrate on the manga alone.

Everybody keeps talking about G8, G8 fillers and I have not tried to watch it....there is no where people have not hyped G8/Jonathan filler.
One day, I would try to watch it for myself and see but my best Onepiece filler still is Master Z/Zerphry-the filler after the Fishman Island arc

Lol...both Z and G8 fillers had contributions by Oda....as for G8...it connected both Skypiea and Water 7 arcs so perfectly that I had trouble to accept twas a filler when I then read the manga after completing the anime. Funny enough I thought the Foxy Pirates saga was filler but I saw it in the manga.
Try watching it....I think its around 197.

That would be March/April next year, I'm certain of that cos Japan has 2 Sunday holidays in February meaning in the month of Feb, we will have only 2 episodes.

I enjoyed today's episode although Toei added the fillers in Delliger vs Ideo & Dellinger vs Hakuba.

Lol, yeah, i know that....but then, they should just step down on those fillers really...just go straight to the canon episodes...I wont mind them going straight then making a little filler arc after this Dressrosa....at least their filler arcs are still good...best among them still remains the Navarone G8 arc...

lol, so it happened in other series too well, you're not the only one....especially for Naruto cos that's the one I know of...that's one of the reasons its success dropped much before it ended. Madara destroyed all logic and later turned out to be a puppet himself.

I dropped Superman long ago, however, the power ups werent my problem, but it lost sight of the tactical thinking and several other problems with those ups....I actually didn't pay attention to comics generally, but I know these shows were popular and circulated round well, plus they have run many years back....that's why I compared them. compared to them, OP is pretty recent but....

I was watching Fishman Island arc last night lazily and noticed something....
When legends are passed down through generations, they often become exaggerated.
Vander Decken was a human who came and lived in Fishman Island about 800 years ago. The Vander Decken we saw was Vander Decken the 9th...that is, 9 generations after the main one.
Considering the way Oda makes something appear little and then makes it big after many arcs, we're gonna be seeing Van Der Decken later....
and I want to assume that he was the one who made the contact between Fishmen then and JoyBoy of the Ancient Kingdom. Since JoyBoy couldn't fulfill his promise to the Poseidon then, he set himself to rogue on the Flying Dutchman.........
this act gave place to the legend about him and his ship being a cursed crew.

When the mystery of the Ancient KIngdom is revealed, there will sure be a mention of this Vander Decken the 1st.

First of all, the characters are developing well. Its cool to see Shin unit: Hi Shin grow to a 300 man unit.

Ouki's death was painful, I almost felt like crying. The dude reminds me a lot of Madara (without the power-ups obviously). He's both? but he doesn't follow strategy by the book. He didn't study it though...so he'll say this...I just like doing things that'll annoy my opponents.And yep, his strategies are annoying when executed...plus his men are all psychopaths.

Why keep trying to shove One Piece into other people's throat? Why is it difficult for you to let others enjoy Naruto as you enjoy One Piece?

Lol, who did I persuade to watch OP, I just stated an obvious stuff that OP is the top series out there. Did I shove it into your throats? lol, I have the one I've made many to read already and that's Kingdom, and I never told you or anyone not to enjoy Naruto...I said the storyline got crappy at the end and its also a well known fact...funny enough, right here, when people ask a Naruto question or Naruto links, I still answer to it. I still have Naruto episodes in my hard disk and I give people to watch...and I stated here that I'm waiting for the animators to finish so I can download the canon ones and finish up the series.
Its just you guys, getting the wrong ideas.

I really don't understand it. I doubt people come to their thread and disturb it. If it was that good, people won't trash it, at least mangaka like Fate Zero, Death Note and co have been suggested without this kind of issues.

In OP thread, we also suggest other series to people who ask, its just you guys making a big issue out of OP, and tell me about those that trash it those who viewed it from a distance and concluded its trash...
Btw, I haven't talked much about Death Note which I've watched though. That was the manga series that ended OP's 4 years unbeaten run earlier in 2006. Due to its live action film, it got a huge demand that year. Another live action film is in making, expecting it next year.
As for Fate Zero.........
