PhonesRe: Compare Easy Buy VS M-kopa Using This Verdict By Kustomers NG by privaldo: 11:14am On Nov 29, 2024
ICTNEWS:
What if you could buy a brand new andriod mobile phone on credit and be offered the flexibilty of paying on a pay-per-usage basis?

Yeah! Sounds great right?

Well, what does pay-per-usage even mean in this context? (We'll break it down in a bit)

As exciting as being able to buy a brand new phone might sound to some of you, a lot of people are already quite familiar with some mobile financing platforms that have been operating in Nigeria for awhile now, however, i think there is something that needs to be said about the approach M-Kopa is taking as it relates to mobile phone financing services in Africa, and most importantly, Nigeria.

It is no news that cost of goods keep rising on a daily basis, which is also affecting the price of mobile devices (mobile phones). It is almost impossible for the avarage Nigerian to afford a quality andriod device due to rise in exchange rates and inflated prices of these devices.

However, M-kopa came in with a very revolutionary concept, way different from what others were already offering in the device financing market space. Unlike others, M-kopa though doesn't offer diverse ranges of devices like their competitors, they do offer the two industry's big name devices, namely, HMD's manufactured Nokia phones and Samsung devices respectively. And these devices come with great features to meet users quality expectations.

So, what is M-kopa offering that is different from the other competitors?

First, we honestly think their pricing approach is superb and way more transparent.
The payback model is way more convenient than that of other competitors
Devices are high-end
Let's highlight these points above, starting with pricing approach.
We all know that to get a high-end (quality phone) especially a brand that has a global dominance like Nokia and Samsung is often on the premium side.

While these brands have also considered the low income earners who deserve their quality products and those customers who want to identify with a quality brand name, HMD the makers of Nokia have designed devices that can be bought at a fairly affordable amount, same goes for Samsung too.

But you know how it is with Dollar rates in this part of the world, when these products get here, it automatically skyrocket in pricing as a result of cost of shipping and logistics. Hence, the average income earner is locked out again from being able to afford these devices even though they've been made to be affordable.

This is where device financing plays a key role, not just any device financing service, but that offered by M-kopa would be your best bet in this context.

WHY?
Good question, M-kopa is the only device financing company we've seen that doesn't incorperate a recurring interest on it's devices.

What does this mean? Well, other device financing companies would keep shooting your interest on your device especially if you're unable to pay full price on the device based on chosen repayment plan you chose.

For instance, if you chose a 4 month payment plan, and for some reason you're unable to complete your device payment within that time frame, other financing companies would add extra interest to your outstanding balance as a penalty or as their terms states in the agreement in their ToS.

This has often been a serious drawback for many people who would have loved to buy a brand new device on loan - However, M-kopa on the other hand has a more flexible plan.

You only pay what the actual (initial) cost is even if you find it difficult to pay full price within the chosen time frame. This is a very transparent approach because inside the app, you can see your progress and you can see how much is left, plus you can see that nothing increases.

2. The payback model is very outstanding. Unlike others which requires a stiffle payment model, with M-kopa, you are able to know how much your phone cost on a per-day usage basis, which when calculated, it still sums up to the original overall cost of the device within the payback time-frame and peradventure it elapses that time.

So, let's assume that you own a devices that cost 145,400NGN, they'll give you a breakdown of how much it would cost you to unlock the device on a daily basis should you run out of funds in the wallet. So you can practically unlock your phone for 24 hours or pay for one week of usage if you're unable to pay for a full month plan, and this would keep deducting from your outstanding which you can track in the M-kopa app. Isn't that brilliant?

Basically, it could just cost you 1,400NGN to unlock your phone for a 24hours period and this would give you access to all phone features, in full power.

Lastly, M-kopa devices are high-end devices, because they want you to enjoy luxury and comfort, they finance the industry's top brands which we've mentioned above multiple times, Samsung and Nokia which are well known for making some of the world's most durable, sleek and feature packed devices and most importantly, they are classy, so you can enjoy all these in one with the flexibility of paying at your own pace.

So, here is our VERDICT on the M-kopa financed devices.

We think they're more reasonable, they're way more flexible, they're durable and they command class, all while considering the average income earner who wants quality.

Definately, a section for email is there already, you can add a phone number in the body of the message.
Duly noted. I sent in an application with links to my previous work, cover letter and resume and my phone number included but probably left out the email. I'll resend it immediately.

BusinessHow Do I Create A Paypal Account To Receive Payments? by privaldo(op): 1:22pm On Jan 15, 2024
I've a little fund that I need to receive from a client but so far all the vendors who have PayPal accounts are giving very weird rates considering dollars is almost N1300, which means I'd be losing a lot of money. I just need a temporary solution as it is a one time payment.

I don't think WordPress is hot maybe for newer devs. With CCNA you should look at platforms like splunk. It's very in demand without much supply
From what I'm seeing about it online it is related to big data and data management. I can't seem to connect it's relationship to CCNA, could you please explain Chief

Have you installed WP in the past? Installed it on Linux? Installed it from GitHub on Linux? I’d start with those. Get comfortable installing and updating the Base version of WP
Thank you Chief, I'd look into it this night and try my hands on it
ProgrammingHow Do I Get Into Wordpress As A Support Engineer/specialist? by privaldo(op): 9:10pm On Jan 10, 2024
I'm almost through with my Google IT Support Professional certification. I plan to go further and take the CCNA to certify my knowledge in networking, but I recently discovered WordPress Support as a very hot niche, and I intend to pause everything for now and focus on it. How do I get started? What do I focus on? Please, I'd also need recommendations for learning resources.

Hi all, I've been looking for remote IT Support roles. However, all the open roles I've come across seem to only hire from within the US/UK/Canada. I've interviewed for three different roles but received rejection emails for all three. One mentioned that I was a good fit for the role but my location was an issue. If you've successfully landed a remote support role, could you please share your experience and any advice you may have?

Sidenote: I'm currently taking the Google IT Support professional certification and as well preparing for my CCNA and Comptia+ exams.

Hello dear, I think all centers are geared towards today's in-person service in Chanhassen Minnesota.

I am not sure if any ECK center will hold service today.

Today is an ECK New year smiley
Happy New Year fellow lover of God, welcome to the year of Graceful Living. I suspected so too, I'm far from any center, so I normally join in online.
