muyeskin: Barks often and when barking, the dog retrieves to the cage instead of attacking. Finally keeps quiet when the person moves closer as winetapper has said, socialize your dog. Walk him often. And I hope you can handle an aggressive dog. |

Pets › Re: The Danger Of Feeding Your Dogs Raw Meat/Foetus by Prodeegee(m): 2:17pm On Jul 19, 2015 |
oluomoadebayo: I belief it does affect dogs with weak immunity,in fact the chances to affect healthy dogs are very low. Most of the cattles are rear for human consumption and if it's good for human,it's super for dogs. Now, your dog has a strong immune system. Probably cos their immune hasn't been tampered with divers vaccines and co. How many dogs would have this level of immunity? And remember, human boil this meat, Noone eats it raw. |
Pets › Re: The Danger Of Feeding Your Dogs Raw Meat/Foetus by Prodeegee(m): 2:05pm On Jul 19, 2015 |
oluomoadebayo: Some guys can surely eat it but i can't because its not yet developed for my liking. The same reason I don't eat chicken from our Nigerian farms.
I don't need to worry about any parasite because the dog system is design for such. Have you ever noticed your dog hiding meats for few days before going back to it without any issue?
No genuine raw feeder will feed biscuit bone as the main food on a daily basis. Dogs only need 15 to 20% of bones not 60%. I called you because i thought you have a better source than mine which I realized my source is even better. I have access to chicken neck, backs, chest and legs but I only use them as treat or add to major food. I did my research with foetus and I'm 100% sure its safe to feed and I have proof. My dogs are fit as fiddle and very athletic with only muscle mass not excess fat. so basically, you dont believe brucellosis affects dogs in anyway? Or that infected foetus could cause brucellosis? It's not about the length of unreserved meat, dogs eat decayed animals I know. Like I said, from observation the common deed in breeders whose dogs have brucellosis is foetus. Getting sources of chicken isn't a hard thing, it's just their consistency, even 100% beef. |

Pets › Re: The Danger Of Feeding Your Dogs Raw Meat/Foetus by Prodeegee(m): 1:30pm On Jul 19, 2015 |
oluomoadebayo: You have to tell us what the dogs are lacking because of feeding foetus and why its affecting the dogs to reproduce. It's not about what the dogs are lacking, it all boils down to brucellosis. Truth be told, I'm used to 'kara' along lagos/ibadan expressway and I've never seen a female cow slaughtered. But I was told the abbatoir at agege slaughters female cows. The question is 1. Why isn't the foetus sold for human consumption? 2. How do you know this foetus you bought is brucellosis free? 3. Why not opt for biscuitbone; I remembered you called me once for my source of meat and I told you when I'm broke, I opt for biscuit bone. Fresh biscuitbone has a lot of beef on it, is cheaper and nutritious |

oluomoadebayo: We can now bring the healthy debate on now without abusing each other . Has anyone experience any negative result from feeding raw Foetus? Oluomo, a couple of guys have constant issues with foetus feeding. And I mean constant. Most of them are rott breeders. The issue is, they always have reproductive issues. This is not just one, or 2 people. A couple of breeders and the similar thing they do is feeding foetus. Now I'm not all ruling that it's the cause, but its a possible cause. |
Pets › Re: The Danger Of Feeding Your Dogs Raw Meat/Foetus by Prodeegee(m): 12:59pm On Jul 19, 2015 |
GRACEGLORY: 1st, I'm not a vet, 2nd, I'm not saying raw feeding is bad, but it could be dangerous to your dog, most especially in this environment of ours where even we humans have no certification over our meats, how much more over the ones's we give dogs. Yeah! If it's clean for us, it's clean for our dogs, but don't forget we boil ours which could kill the virus that might be in it. But dogs have it raw with the virus alive. Though, depending on the virus, it might not be harmful for some reasons, but with time... do you know if this same virus improves? This is my point. And to tell the truth, I'd love to feed raw, based on concrete research, though, very expensive. But the hygiene part of it? Now you can smile and tuck in your shirt. NOTE: I just read this copy and paste you did, though, with reference. Isn't this one an internet gig prodeegee? You had better agree the internet is a learning globe with real life experiences being shared. Now you can turn away from the wall, we forgive your showing off. dude, what copy and paste did I do o? I own those websites nigga! And oh, you're not a vet...dang! Why the hell....tch! |

tobolos: Go back and read all your dictatorial post condemning people's belief and imposing your own ideology. Experiences are meant to be shared so that other people can learn the hard way.Experiences gives the test before the lessons. We are suppose to put our lessons on the table for people to grab one or two points for personal consumption.
Saying that only a broke breeder buys foetus tells a lot about your age and life experience have met with established bankers, engineers, doctors and other business men who go for foetus not because of the price but the value it adds to their dogs.
Talking about biz,no one can spoil any bix that has been tested and trusted by the user. You just revealed that you have not even tested the foetus before so where is your sense of judgment coming from? This strongly show you are definitely out to condemn.
Thank God you have met me before, you should know the stuff I am made up of. People who know me well even on nairaland know what I do for a living and can't believe it is tobolos arguing on the thread over mere foetus but I hate it when one want to impose his/her ideas on another person.
Views are meant to be shared from experiences!!!
Happy sunday bro. we could go on and on...But I'll always tell you 'my view is my view and doesn't change what anyone feels'. I don't see it as imposing, mr. And you're still being crowded by being quick to judge. Prodeegee says 'how can one feed that irritating thing' Tobolos says 'prodeegee, this and this is how it's been fed' Is there any harm in that? And I only stated how I feed in relation to the discussion because I don't want to bother myself about somethings. I feed fish when I'm not boxed up enough to feed chicken. All I'm saying is, we can argue as matured men and not bring sentiments into it. You got my point bro I'm a very easy person. |

tobolos: When people share their experiences from a different perspective you keep quiet and listen. You shared your own view by saying a capital NO to raw feeding from your experience which nobody can change. You don't need to condemn and force your own belief on many others who have sweet experience just because you claimed it didn't work for you.learn to respect other people's views on issues. No man is an island of knowledge. you see, I understand how this would be for you. You sell foetus and I don't mean to spoil your business.so stop making it look like I am. I say a capital no, oluomo says a capital yes...The fact I said a no doesn't make it wrong. Like I stated out on one thread, if the foetus wasn't aborted from the mother then it's not infectious. But that's not even my reason for a no, it's how it looks at least I've seen it once or twice and it's quite irritating. Now trying to imagine how dogs would eat that raw...Is my No! I have friends who rear rabbits just because they want to keep up with raw feeding, there other raw means. It's all a matter of improvising. You sell 5kg of foetus for 2k ryt? Funny enough, we've met before but you won't know. Bottomline, I don't have an issue with you or your foetus sales. Nomatter what transpires on nl, we're still brothers. You state the reasons foetus is edible for dogs and I don't have an issue wif you. Happy sunday brov |
Pets › Spending Time With Your Dog by Prodeegee(op): 9:35am On Jul 19, 2015 |
Having a dog is one great thing, spending time with your dog is another thing to consider. You can never realize the full benefits of having a dog until you spend time with your dog; realize the true reason why its said that dogs are man's best friends. Spending time with your dog means knowing early when your dog is sick, knowing little changes in your dogs(eye color, poop texture, body temperature, shedding, etc). This helps you know when to call your vet and save your dear friend's life. Spending time with your dog also helps you have a happy dog, who trusts your every move and knows your mood. Communicating daily with your dog makes your dog know your likes and dislikes and adjust as expected. Dogs need your attention; some dogs have been reported to do silly things to draw attention, like pooping in the room when they know quite well you don't like it. Spending time with your dogs could be 2 hrs to however time you have; after work, weekends and all. walk your dogs, communicate with them, love them. DOGS ARE MAN'S BEST FRIEND. http://www.talkpawsng..com/2015/05/spending-time-with-your-dog.html?m=1 |
