Fremantle: May be an IP address issue, try checking your ip address using this link https://whatismyip.uno/ and see what address is attached to your IP.
Another thing is to change your IP, to do that, each time you click sign up and that vpn msg pops up, switch on and off your airplane mode for about 30sec and try again.
If issue persists then the sims ip is the problem, you'll just have to try another sim.
Also not that Sproutgigs is trying to curb a lot of things, from sign ups to task completion etc. So a few more people will find it difficult to access SproutGigs easily. ok, it reads Lagos Nigeria, I will it again and with another sim |

Fremantle: @Bolded, Yes. Okay. For now don't use MTN or Glo. The reason for formatting your chrome, is so that past data from your previous account won't lead to the suspension of the new one you'll create.
Simply clear cache/cookie then clear data from your chrome.
You'll need a new Gmail account, a new sim or you can still use your airtel if it's not been compromised since you got the suspension while using your MTN. Also minimise how you switch between sims when you run out of data on one. ok thanks |
Investment › Re: A Week Earnings On Picoworker. (pic) by prodigiousman(m): 9:08am On Aug 18, 2023 |
Fremantle: You can't, since you no longer have access to it. On opening another account, Yes! You can, but you'll have to format your chrome browser and get a new sim.
The reason is, you sim has been flagged as bad, if you use it again, the new account will be suspended. Get a new one, preferably Airtel or 9mobile, Glo and MTN are having issues on the platform. They're mostly tagged as VPN or Proxy connections. I'm sure you were using either of this network (Glo, MTN) before your account got suspended. yeh, I usually use Airtel, although I can't remember if it's the Airtel I used to register because I have multiple sims, and I have opened my account 2019 or 2020, and I started using it few months back when I came across this thread. I was having network issues with my Airtel so I switched to my mtn line, and i have been using it before this issue occurred. Anyway I will open a new account, it's frustrating though, I have 5dollar already, wanted to push it to 10dollar before I withdraw. Format chrome will I restore everything? |

Fremantle: Yes. From your complaint above, what browser were you using before this happened. Cuz issues like this are mostly associated with Opera-mini. I use chrome, I never use any vpn or whatever, I contacted them no helpful reply from them

Politics › World Bank Okays Fresh $500m Loan For FG by prodigiousman(op): 11:14pm On Jun 27, 2023 |
The World Bank Group has approved a loan of $500m to help Nigeria drive women’s empowerment, The PUNCH has learnt.
This became the second loan approved by the World Bank under the new President, Bola Tinubu.
It is a scale-up financing for Nigeria for Women Programme, which was initially approved on June 27, 2018, with $100m financing.
A statement by the World Bank read in part, “The World Bank has approved $500m for Nigeria for Women Program Scale Up (NFWP-SU). The scale-up financing will further support the government of Nigeria to invest in improving the livelihoods of women in Nigeria.
“The NFWP-SU will help to ensure better economic opportunities for women, which is essential for addressing gender inequality; guaranteeing better education, health, and nutrition outcomes for families; and building women’s and communities’ resilience to climate change.”
The World Bank stressed the need for the government to address issues that inhibit women’s economic empowerment and hinder inclusive, low-carbon, and resilient economic growth. It noted that women’s empowerment is essential to their ability to build resilience to climate change and, by extension, the resilience of their households and communities.
The World Bank Country Director for Nigeria, Shubham Chaudhuri, was quoted as saying, “We have seen promising outcomes from the parent NFWP which has helped to create economic opportunities for thousands of rural women through the Women Affinity Groups. NFWP’s model is helping to improve livelihood opportunities for women and enhancing their capacity to adapt to climate change and to participate in local administrations for policymaking related to community empowerment.
“Closing the gender gap in key economic sectors could yield gains of between $9.3bn and $22.9bn, we are optimistic that this scale-up will help Nigeria to move closer to bridging this gap.”
Also, the Task Team Leader for Nigeria for Women Project, Michael Ilesanmi, said, “The Program aims to mobilize poor and vulnerable women into different institutions and, using these institutional platforms, link them to markets as well as financial and non-financial services. Through participation in Women Affinity Groups, project beneficiaries build social capital that can then be leveraged to access financial, political, and economic capital–thus leading to both social and economic empowerment.”
It was disclosed that NFWP has been implemented in six states and provides support to over 427,887 Women Affinity Groups’ members through the formation and strengthening of 20,506 of these groups.
In about two years, these WAGs have saved about NGN 4bn ($8.9m equivalent), with a significant percentage of these funds in circulation as loans at any given time. So far, 835,573 community members have benefitted from the NFWP through different interventions. Source: https://punchng.com/world-bank-okays-fresh-500m-loan-for-fg/

Phones › Various Redmi Note 12 Series by prodigiousman(op): 9:36am On Jun 08, 2023 |
Redmi Note 12 is a line of Android-based SMARTPHONES as part of the Redmi Note series by XIAOMI.
Xiaomi announced the first four phones in Redmi Note 12 series on 27 October 2022 the Redmi Note 12, 12 Pro, 12 Pro+ and 12 Explorer Edition. The Note 12 Speed Edition then arrived in late December.
Despite the names being so similar, there are some key differences between them, reflected in the price variety. The Redmi Note 12 series includes a basic budget smartphone, premium mid-ranger etc.
In any case, a couple of these Redmi Note 12 variants have been released in the Nigerian market. Here's all you need to know about every one of them.
Redmi Note 12
The Note 12 is a basic budget phone, but it doesn’t look bad by any means. It’s also the least like the other phones in the series though, and the only model to have differences between its Chinese and European/Indian models, however these varieties are basically restricted to the cameras.
Key features:
Display:AMOLED, 6.67in, FHD 120Hz, 1200 nits (peak) Soc: Snapdragon 685 (4G)/Snapdragon 4 Gen 1(5G) GPU: Adreno 610/ 619 Camera:50 MP(main), 8 MP, (ultrawide), 2 MP,(macro)/48 MP,(main), 8 MP, (ultrawide), 2 MP, (macro) 13 MP, selfie/8mp(china) Battery:5000 mAh, 33w Price:₦117,000 - ₦135,000

The Redmi note 12S is another brand on the redmi12 series running a Mediatek chipset and doesn't support 5G
Display:AMOLED, 6.43in, FHD, 90Hz, 1000 nits Soc: MediaTek Helio G96 GPU: Mali-G57 MC2 Camera:108 MP(main), 8 MP, (ultrawide), 2 MP macro,16MP, selfie Battery:5000 mAh, 33w Price:₦184,485(ram/rom 8/ 256)

Another addition to the Pro, only it is limited to 4G connectivity. Equipped with the same Snapdragon 732G on its predecessor Redmi note 10 pro.
Display:AMOLED, 120Hz,FHD,1100 nits,6.67 inches Soc:Snapdragon 732G GPU:Adreno 618 Camera:108Mp, main camera with OIS 8Mp ultrawide 2Mp macro 2Mp depth 16Mp selfie camera Battery:5000mAh,67W Price:₦168,000 - ₦209,000
Redmi note 12 pro
The Pro is second main phone in the series, and the most basic of the Pro variants.
Display:OLED, 120Hz,FHD,900 nits,6.67 inches Soc:MediaTek Dimensity 1080 GPU:Mali-G68 MC4 Camera:50Mp, main camera with OIS 8Mp ultrawide 2Mp macro 16Mp selfie camera Battery:5000mAh,67W Price:₦185,000 - ₦209,626
Redmi note 12 pro+
The Pro+ doesn’t have much changes. Performance is the same as the pro, with the exception that RAM is only available in 8 or 12GB, with storage locked to 256GB.
The battery is the same as the Pro, but charging is a bit faster at 120W.
Display:OLED, 6.67in 120Hz,FHD,900nits Soc:Mediatek MT6877V Dimensity 1080 GPU:Mali-G68 MC4 Camera:200Mp, main camera with OIS 8Mp ultrawide 2Mp macro 16Mp selfie camera Battery:5000mah,120W Price:₦277,000 - ₦370,000
Redmi note 12 Discovery(explorer)
The China-only Explorer Edition is almost similar to the Pro+, but with two key changes.
It features a significantly smaller 4300mAh battery, so won’t last as long.
But comes with a very fast 210W wired charging support, one of the fastest you’ll find.
Display:OLED,6.67in 120Hz,FHD,900nits Soc:MediaTek Dimensity 1080 GPU:Mali-G68 MC4 Camera:200Mp, main camera with OIS 8Mp ultrawide 2Mp macro 16Mp selfie camera Battery:4300mAh, 210W Price:$330 - $380 (roughly ₦170,359 -₦175,438)
Redmi note 12 Speed
The name proposes everything no doubt revolves around quick charging, it's a long way from the quickest in the reach. it’s powered by the Snapdragon 778G instead of a MediaTek chip.
Display:OLED,120Hz,500 nits,6.67in,FHD Soc:Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G GPU:Adreno 642L Camera:108Mp, main camera 8Mp ultrawide 2Mp macro 16Mp selfie camera Battery:5000mAh,67W Price:$299 (8/256)
Redmi note 12 Turbo

Display:OLED, 120Hz,1000 nit,FHD,6.67in Soc:Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 GPU:Adreno 725 Camera:64Mp main camera 8Mp ultrawide 2Mp macro 16Mp selfie camera Battery:5000mAh,67W Price:$335 - $379
Redmi note 12T Pro
The Redmi Note 12T Pro is the latest addition to the popular Redmi series of smartphones from Xiaomi.
Display:IPS LCD FHD,6.6in,144Hz,650 nits Soc:Mediatek Dimensity 8200 Ultra GPU:Mali-G610 MC6 Camera:64mp main, 8 MP, 120˚, (ultrawide) 2 MP, macro,16mp selfie Battery:5080 mAh,67W Price:$289 -$329
Redmi note 12R Pro 5G
Another release to the Redmi note 12 series that is yet to be announced. Rocking a dual camera, and may likely be the last in is line. (Rumored) Display:AMOLED, 6.67in, FHD, 120Hz, 1200 nits Soc: Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 GPU: Adreno 619 Camera:48 MP(main),2 MP macro,16MP, selfie Battery:5000 mAh, 33w Price:to be announced
The Redmi note 12 series is a sure upgrade to the previous Redmi series, no doubt. But with these recent numerous release's of a particular series from Xiaomi it gets a little complicated for their customers and users.
With this constant rebranding they might be delay in software updates, cause of these many release's which Xiaomi might find it hard to cope with.
My opinion Xiaomi should go back to their original revamp of the Redmi a, Redmi, note. Note pro etc. These newly rebranding is unnecessary. Still on still Xiaomi is still a leading smartphone brand in the smartphone market when it comes to quality and affordability.
