Politics / Re: Restructuring: Northern Leaders Root For 12-State Structure by Proeast3: 9:46am On Oct 14, 2020
gidgiddy:

What are you talking about? Dont you know that this 5 Eastern states were created by military rulers? Is Igbo land limited to the 5 states? What about the Igbos that were carved into Benue? What about Asaba people? What about Oyigbo? Should Igbos forget other Igbos because of bothers drawn up drunk military leaders?

When Nigeria is restructured, there must be a referendum for everyone to decide which Region they want to belong to.

Any restructuring without a holistic referendum for every constituent parts to chose where to belong will not work.
I don't think that the Oyibo or the Egbema will want to remain divided in different states despite being one people. Likewise, I don't think the likes of Ikwerre will want to go back to old Rivers and be reduced to 2nd class as opposed to their current dominant position in Rivers.

There must be a referendum and the people giving at least 2 or more options to choose from in regards to where they want to be.

Segalink is not in charge and does not dictate to the youths. The Nigerian youths decided to protest out of their free will to seek justice, reforms and good governance.

The fool wanted to cash out and feel important over something that is beyond him.

CilicMarin:
Segalink the founder of EndSARS agitation has hands off on any protest going further, after alleging that politicians and commercial criminals have hijacked the protest for their selfish end....

In series of tweets this morning, he warned the youth , that are endangering their lives, if the insist on protesting after the government has agreed to all their demands...

See tweets...

This is the symbol of the cult group that wants to hijack the genuine advocacy targeted to objectively engage Govt on behalf of the people to fix our 90years old institutions and save the lives of our youth. They want to own it & weaponize it against the state.
@PoliceNG

We have strictly maintained that the #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG advocacy is not a protest even while we maintained that citizens have the rights as empowered by the constitution to demonstrate their discontent. It is obvious that once protest is ignited hijackers will infiltrate.

Since we started the advocacy in 2017 until 2020 before they hatched the protest, no Nigerian has died based on the #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG advocacy but since the Protest started we have been recording deaths and this hurts as we’ve never exposed citizens to undue risk.

We made progress with the PoliceReform Bill and the Police Trust Fund bill without seeking Governors and billionaires. It was organic, transparent and objective. There were no sinister plans to weaponize anything against anyone. But for these ones, the lives mean nothing.

Our organization remains committed to the people without strings attached. We remain self funded and seek no grants. We will not sell our soul and risk human lives because of greed and lust after power. I’m not interested in 2023. Be careful out there. This is a Game.

We have played our role and done the needful. SARS has been ended as demanded and the Police Reform is in gear beginning with the assent to the Police Bills as facilitated. Some of the demands however activated will take time to materialize. Don’t be kept on the streets unduly.

We remain on course. Our dialogue of years with the authorities can’t be derailed and the movement can not be hijacked no matter how much they try. Your genuine need to express discontent via protest is being exploited now. This is why they want to keep you in harm’s way.

I hope at this point the authorities will do the needful and make a believer of the people so as not to allow these opportunists endanger more lives even after demands are met. These headlines could have been fine if the issues were not exploited by these lots.
@MBuhari

Businesses need not bleed while we agitate for better policing. The people don’t need to suffer more. This should end now. The exploitation of the idleness of Nigerian youth is an assault on their dignity with the commercialization of this protest. This is not Nation Building.

The hands of Nigerian “George Soros” is all over this and I implore Nigerians to be mindful. This is no longer an Organic protest and you deserve to be kept safe. You have been used once before and they are trying again. Another concert is brewing. Be wary.

This is not about any individual but your safety is paramount. My warnings may fall into dead ears again but at least I tried. Protest is your right but you should know when you are being used. The struggle continues and Govt will be held to account without any ulterior motive.

There are a thousands of hashtags groups and organizations can deploy to launch their protest but if you must use anything relating to #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG it must be in compliance with the vision of the platform as spelt out by
@SIAF_NG
. We protect lives not endanger them.

Of course, I'm right!
Nnamdi Kanu has done the local/internal part, he has moved to the next stage which is the global part. He doesn't need to be in Nigeria at this stage.

Lol, time to divide Nigeria is finally upon us!
The North that is pro SARS can have Nigeria and SARS while the South that is anti SARS will form its own country and be free.

The movement is really pawning out as expected. Very soon, the demand will graduate to reform or end Nigeria.

Coward of the year ,far away in UK

You should go check the meaning of coward before you embarrass yourself. Someone that challenged the Nigerian government and its army and police, was arrested and imprisoned on trumped up charges, he still came out and continued!

He even organized series of protests demanding for Nigeria's break-up without minding the consequences!

I bet you, nobody in your lineage up or down to the 10th generation had a quarter of his courage.

A bit of truth in what he said, majority of Igbo ladies are into prostitution and are not ready to settle down to have children, and this will surely have a negative impact on the population of the region.

Are most Yoruba women not into prostitution? Why are many Nigerians rushing to have Igbo wives like it's a status symbol?
Politics / Re: The Igbos Are A Minority In Nigeria: Truth. by Proeast3: 1:13pm On Oct 13, 2020
fellowman:
The igbos are a minority and will always be one.

first, they don't practice polygamy, but the people in the north and the west practice polygamy.

secondly, Their women have refused to marry and those that do, enter marriage at an older age where they can only afford to have one child. while most of our sisters in other region have children before and during education.

Thirdly the high cost of marriage list where the family members of the lady are willing to milk the man dry rather than marry-off their women. Thereby making their men scared of marriage.

furthermore, the igbos are a minority due to the chase, this chase is as a result of chasing dreams that are irrelevant e.g forwarding their education rather than settling down to have a family, putting other priorities first rather than family first.

The igbos are the only tribe where the sale of condoms make a lots of money. Other tribes do not use condoms but igbos use condoms more than any tribe and this has really reduced their population.

The igbos will always be a minority in the affairs of Nigeria, and once you become a minority you have no say in the affairs of this country. you will be crying till the day you die.

Their population have no effect whatsoever in the statistics are there to prove it, check the Nigerian census from the first time they started it.

In fifty years time the Igbo men will either marry outside because there will not be any woman to marry. or not have children at all. I've seen so many igbo women say they don't have to have children but will adopt... After all....

it's time the igbos look inward and stop blaming others for their problems. the problem is you.

This crap is the most useless, unreasonable and senseless gibberish I have ever read in my entire life!
Whoever wrote this is a dunce and the parents should sue all the schools he attended from kindergarten to whatever level he stopped for scamming him.

At a time the whole world is advocating for less children so that the few ones would live life optimally yet this village man is here disgracing his entire generation.

FYI, having less children goes hand in hand with development, enlightenment and higher standard of living. Ask yourself why educated and rich people have few children while uneducated and poverty stricken people have many children??

Shame on this disgusting op and his likes, the would be a better place without them!

He didn't lose, the yorubas are just trying to re-write the history of the fight as usual

That's so stupid of them. The Biafran fighter beat his Cambodian opponent black and blue from the start and maintained his dominance all through, it was just that the network was unstable and I had to give up at some point.

The packed auditorium, fans waving Biafran and Cambodian flags and the commentator shouting Biafra in whatever language he was speaking was so impressive. The fight itself was tough too and interesting too.

I have watched the 22 minutes video and the Biafran guy really beat his opponent thoroughly from beginning until it seemed like he had cramps or something.

He was the better fighter all through and will still beat his opponent in a rematch.

I like his courage and braveness in fighting his opponent on home soil and still beat him black and blue.

Biafra is really going places if sports contestants are now representing it in such A level grade tournament.

When did losing in a sports become a shameful thing?
Is one person not supposed to win? Or are you saying that Biafrans are aliens or superhumans that must win at all times and anything else becomes shameful?

I'm so proud of him for fighting in the colors of Biafra with such massive publicity like a packed auditorium, and lots of fans waving Biafran flags!

Your IQ must be like that a qnat. You're the one who is supposed to be ashamed of yourself for being so stupid.
