CrimeTrending Story: University Student Kidnapped And Tortured By Bandits At Kaduna by ProfesawFred(op): 6:01pm On Apr 14
First of all, this is drastically appalling and unbelievable. In the early hours of today, a young student was seen on a viral video, tortured and beaten to stupor by bandits . In the video he said he was a student but didn't mention the school. While they were busy flogging the hell out of him, the bandit boss was asking him why his people refused to send in the money. As the boy was answering he instructed his boys to flog him. I couldn't watch the video without tears dropping from my eyes.

Please the government should really do something about this kidnapping, it's getting too much and out of hand. For how long are we going to keep folding our arms and watch our students, corpers, children and brothers and sisters begin tortured like animals. This is really bad in all honesty.

Nigerian skitmaker and influencer Cute Abiola has stirred controversy after sharing a detailed video documenting his wife’s childbirth surgery, prompting widespread criticism and debate over privacy and content monetisation.

The video, which runs for over an hour on Youtube was uploaded on Tuesday, capturing the couple’s journey from pre-surgery preparations to post-delivery recovery. In one of the most emotional moments on April 4 the surgery day, Cute Abiola is seen outside the theatre, visibly distressed as he offers prayers for his wife’s safety.

“So my wife is in the theatre already… I beg you God, please. I wish my wife safe delivery. I wish she comes out well. There should be no complications,” he said, his voice trembling.

He revealed that the procedure was his wife’s third surgery in four years, raising concerns among viewers about the physical and emotional toll.

As the surgery progressed, he narrated how he played Quran recitations to calm the tense atmosphere, admitting he was overwhelmed.

“I was shaking already. I could not hold it anymore. I was just crying… Allah,” he added.

The tension eventually gave way to relief as the procedure ended successfully, with the skitmaker announcing the birth of a baby boy.

Now that Arsenal has started to show sign of bottling the title, Can Arsenal still make it?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Match Analysis: Arsenal Vs Bournemouth, What Went Wrong? by ProfesawFred(op): 6:46am On Apr 12
Bournemouth stunned Premier League leaders Arsenal with a 2–1 victory at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, 11 April 2026.

Arsenal suffered their third defeat in four matches as Mikel Arteta’s side were deservedly beaten 2-1 at home by Bournemouth.

Junior Kroupi have the visitors the lead in the first half before Viktor Gyokeres pulled Arsenal level from the spot.

But Mikel Arteta’s side were comfortably second-best after the break and were punished when Alex Scott surged into the area before coolly finishing past David Raya.

The Gunners miss out on the opportunity to move 12 points clear at the top of the Premier League table and could have their lead cut to just six points if Manchester City can beat Chelsea on Sunday.

As a social commentator and sport analyst this is my honest review

Arsenal’s 2–1 loss to Bournemouth yesterday wasn’t random — it came down to a mix of tactical problems, injuries, and repeated defensive/attacking mistakes.

1. Bournemouth outplayed Arsenal’s press
Bournemouth set up aggressively and pressed Arsenal high, and Arsenal struggled badly to play through it. Midfielders kept getting rushed and losing possession, which broke Arsenal’s rhythm. Their build-up play looked nervous and disjointed.

2. Key injuries hurt Arsenal badly
Arsenal were missing important creative players like Ødegaard, Saka, and Timber, which meant: Less creativity in the final third
More predictable attacks, Over-reliance on set pieces instead of open play chances
That made it easier for Bournemouth to defend in normal play.

3. Weakness in open play attack
Even with possession, Arsenal created very little from open play. Most of their threat came from set pieces, and their attacking combinations were slow and easy to read.

4. Defensive mistakes at key moments
Both Bournemouth goals came from avoidable situations:
First goal: defensive confusion allowed Eli Junior Kroupi space to finish.
Second goal: Arsenal failed to deal with Bournemouth’s pressing phase, and Alex Scott punished them.
These weren’t world-class goals — they were lapses in concentration and structure.

5. Missed chances and poor finishing
Arsenal had moments (including a penalty from Gyökeres and late chances), but they didn’t convert enough pressure into goals, which left them chasing the game again.

MATCH REVIEW IN ONE LINE:

Arsenal had more of the ball, but Bournemouth were sharper, more organised, and more clinical — and Arsenal’s injuries + poor open-play structure made the difference.

My QUESTIONS
1. Arsenal fans are you worried?
2. Footbal fans, do you think the title race just changed?
3. Will Arsenal bounce back?

I want to hear from you, drop your thoughts in the comments and share!

CrimeThe truth about OZORO Community Rape Festival Exposed(Video) by ProfesawFred(op):
ActionAid Nigeria (AAN) has condemned alleged acts of violence against women and girls during a recent cultural festival in Ozoro, headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, calling for the immediate arrest and prosecution of those responsible.

In a statement on Friday, Country Director Dr. Andrew Mamedu described the incidents as “disturbing” and said they reflect a “grave failure to guarantee safety and dignity in a communal space.” Video clips of the alleged assaults have circulated widely on social media, showing women and girls being harassed, chased, and assaulted in public

Mamedu stressed that “violence against women and girls must never be trivialised, justified, or explained away under any circumstance,” and warned that attempts to frame the incidents as cultural misinterpretations should not excuse the abuse. He added that the occurrence points to broader systemic issues, where harmful norms, silence, and weak enforcement allow such violations to persist.

ActionAid Nigeria urged Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State to take decisive action, directing law enforcement agencies to swiftly apprehend perpetrators and publicly disclose measures taken, including arrests and prosecution outcomes. The organisation also called on the Federal and State Ministries of Women Affairs to provide survivor-centred support, including medical care, psychosocial services, legal assistance, and safe reporting mechanisms.

“Addressing gender-based violence requires deliberate, sustained action across institutions, communities, and leadership structures. Ozoro kingdom needs to do better and review cultural practices that harm women and girls,” Mamedu said, reaffirming ActionAid’s commitment to protecting the rights, safety, and dignity of women and girls.

CrimeNDLEA Arrest Fake Pregnant Woman With Hard Drugs by ProfesawFred(op): 6:46pm On Feb 24
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have foiled attempts by suspected traffickers to smuggle illicit drugs through the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport and the Seme Border, uncovering substances hidden in a fake pregnancy and inside a suspect’s stomach.

The agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in a post shared via his X handle on Sunday.

According to the statement, a 35-year-old businesswoman, Rabi Muhammad, was intercepted at the Seme border while attempting to cross to Cotonou.

Officers became suspicious after noticing her protruding stomach. A search later revealed that her pregnancy was fake and that she had strapped a pink-coloured calabash to her abdomen containing 3,200 capsules of tramadol intended for sale across the border.

The statement said, “Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have foiled bizarre plots by two drug traffickers to move consignments of cocaine and opioids hidden in their stomach and fake baby bump through the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) Kano and the Seme land border in Lagos to Europe and other destinations.

“A Kano-based businesswoman, 35-year-old Rabi Muhammad, was intercepted by NDLEA officers at the departure tarmac of Seme land border with a protruding tummy on , while attempting to cross to Cotonou in Benin Republic.

A full body search, however, revealed the absurd: her pregnancy was fake, and her baby bump was designed with a pink coloured calabash used to conceal 3,200 capsules of tramadol, which she tied around her stomach and was taking to Cotonou to sell.

SportsRe: Why Victor Osimhen Was Angry Over 5-2 Win Against Juventus by ProfesawFred(op): 10:53am On Feb 20
SixSeven:
You should take the last line to bed sir. And yes, I think highly of myself. I’m not trying to be above anyone. I was just raised to approach things with structure and respect. If that feels intense, it’s just different standards. I am grateful to the teachers and elders who passed the knowledge of discipline, respect and humility to me. If that bothers you, I'm sorry. Is that pride? No. I am humble enough to take corrections, learn and unlearn and agree to disagree. I read comments here and share (using the share button) what I agree with and even the ones I disagree with because in the disagreement, the person may have 1/2 points that are valid. Wisdom is knowing that we learn everyday and no one knows it all. It's other people's wisdom that prevents the king from being called a fool. We have had people like this before so it's nothing new. What people do is learn from the past and not try to prove their point. After all, Oliseh that advised him was also heady during his time. Shouldn't Oliseh say ride on, no gree for everybody? It's the lessons he has learned during his time that makes him reflect today. Didn't their set storm out of camp or resist to play games against NFF? Isn't it this attitude that cost Nigeria the Denmark game in 98? Weren't Senegalese players angry at the AFCON but the wisdom and experience of Mané prevailed? What did Mané say to them? That's another assignment for you. Attitude is everything, football, basketball, volleyball or boxing. Attitude determines your altitude. Again, he has repeated what Oliseh highlighted at the AFCON, this time, with his club teammate. During that time, one of the things I wrote is that there's a place and time for everything. Footballers fight but home affairs are not talked about on the public square.

https://www.tiktok.com/video/7597741373017656584

Eto'o too could flare up but if you fail to take correction in your youth, you will sit in old age where you prepared for in youth. At the AFCON, he was fined for his bad behaviour now that he has hung his boots.

Comparing Osimhen to Mbappe or anyone else is to me a sign of inferiority complex. No one has any problems with being vocal. I was just watching a video of Drogba shouting at the Referee in that 2009 game in the UCL where it was rigged against their team. Tempers flare in the game that's why they put disciplinary measures. Hellooooo, there was Wayne Rooney, both the clubs and the FA had to manage him and it took time. We have had players who were bullish. Even Zlatan did and they still cut him at certain points in his career. We all can't be the same but there was a reason Garba Lawal was always called by different SE coaches. Enyeama spoke up, Okocha did, Obi and Yobo all spoke. Odemwingie spoke so much that despite his talent, we saw how his transfer saga made the tales. Attitude is everything and if that is a problem for anyone, their personality is yet to mature in my humble opinion.

Do not forget the last line here, God bless you for that advice. Thank you.
O boy, this is very insightful. But bro please take it easy. You are a brilliant gem I must say. Thanks for the info

This girl has to be the MOST STEWPID person in 2026 so far.

Rape is a SENSITIVE issue.
It should NOT be used for courting clout.

Plus, the STEWPID girl is also on RECORD wilfully admitting to being a LESBIAN.
That's a CRIME in Nigeria punishable by up to 14 years imprisonment.

The FHOOL will most likely end up in jail.
She would have DESERVED it too.

First of all, please permit me to specially appreciate the good work of our very own son of the soil Very dark man, to me VDM is a genius, I must commend the way he single handedly interrogated this lady to the point that she started to confess. He deserves a national recognition.

Earlier this week, Mirabel posted a video on TikTok alleging that she had experienced a serious incident at her home, a post that quickly spread across social media platforms and sparked widespread concern. The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) issued a statement urging caution in the way such cases are discussed online and stressing the importance of careful, professional investigation in matters involving alleged violence. Authorities said thorough investigation protects both survivors and those accused while reinforcing the need for facts —not speculation — to guide justice.

But to everyone's surprise, the story has been confirmed to be a fabricated lie. In the video she apologized and said she was under the influence of hard drugs, she also said she was a lesbian.

What if she had pointed someone, the story would have been something else, this is how many women send innocent men to jail. For me she needs to be arrested and serve some jail terms.

SportsWhy Victor Osimhen Was Angry Over 5-2 Win Against Juventus by ProfesawFred(op): 4:35pm On Feb 19
Osimhen was among the Galatasaray players who gave an impressive display against Juventus.

The 27-year-old Nigerian inspired Galatasaray to a 5-2 win over the Serie A giants in Turkey.

Victor Osimhen has opened up on the visible frustration he displayed during Galatasaray’s thrilling 5-2 win over Juventus in the UEFA Champions League play-offs.

The Nigerian striker may not have found the net on the night at RAMS Park, but he played a central role in the rout, setting up two goals as the Turkish champions surged past the Italian giants in front of a raucous home crowd.

Despite the emphatic scoreline, Osimhen was seen visibly upset on two occasions. The first came shortly after Galatasaray went 3-2 ahead, while the second moment unfolded immediately after the final whistle, with the 27-year-old cutting an animated figure on the pitch.

Speaking after the match, the former Napoli forward made it clear that his reaction was fuelled not by dissatisfaction, but by ambition.

Iya Abubakar@90: How he procured first largest computer in Africa, former NIMC DG, Aziz, recounts

The immediate past Director-General of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Engr. Aliyu Aziz, has paid glowing tributes to a former Minister of Defence, Prof. Iya Abubakar, for being the first to purchase the first largest computer in Africa, just to give Nigeria that Big Brother stature in the continent.

Born on December 13, 1934 in Belel in the Maiha Local Government Area (LGA) of Adamawa State, Nigeria, Abubakar was Minister of Defence between 24 October 1979 and January 1981.

He also had served as Minister of Internal Affairs between 1981and 1982.

He said: I am particularly privileged to be one of the greatest beneficiaries of the Iya Abubakar Computer Center – an incredible institution that was far ahead of its time. It is astonishing to recall how he procured what was then the largest computer in Africa, a CDC Cyber 72 series with a remarkable 64 kilobytes of memory.

This technological marvel was accompanied by a line printer capable of printing 1,200 lines per minute, a digital plotter, and a suite of high-level programming languages such as FORTRAN, COBOL, PASCAL, BASIC, and APL, among others.

Hamster Kombat is a play-to-earn game centered around battles between hamster-themed NFTs, where players collect, trade, and battle with their customized hamsters. The game mechanics focus on strategic decision-making, where players pit their hamsters against others in combat arenas. The objective is to win battles, climb the leaderboards, and earn rewards in the form of $HMSTR tokens.

Each hamster in the game is represented by an NFT, which can be purchased, upgraded, and traded on the platform’s marketplace. These NFTs have unique attributes, powers, and appearances, allowing players to build teams with diverse capabilities. The platform is heavily community-driven, with user feedback and involvement playing a key role in shaping the game’s development and future expansions

$HMSTR Tokenomics
The $HMSTR token serves as the primary in-game currency within the Hamster Kombat ecosystem. Players can earn $HMSTR by participating in battles, winning tournaments, and completing special challenges. The token can also be used to buy, upgrade, and enhance hamster NFTs, further expanding the potential for strategic gameplay.

In addition to its role in the game, the $HMSTR token holds potential for value appreciation, as it will be traded on various cryptocurrency exchanges post-launch. Early adopters and active players may benefit from the increasing demand for tokens as the game gains popularity and expands its user base.
