First of all, this is drastically appalling and unbelievable. In the early hours of today, a young student was seen on a viral video, tortured and beaten to stupor by bandits . In the video he said he was a student but didn't mention the school. While they were busy flogging the hell out of him, the bandit boss was asking him why his people refused to send in the money. As the boy was answering he instructed his boys to flog him. I couldn't watch the video without tears dropping from my eyes. Please the government should really do something about this kidnapping, it's getting too much and out of hand. For how long are we going to keep folding our arms and watch our students, corpers, children and brothers and sisters begin tortured like animals. This is really bad in all honesty. https://youtube.com/shorts/QdWle7wHTcg?si=uT5cmxSlJW8IR1ST |
nifemi25:Sure but it is very bad |

Now that Arsenal has started to show sign of bottling the title, Can Arsenal still make it? |
Bournemouth stunned Premier League leaders Arsenal with a 2–1 victory at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, 11 April 2026. Arsenal suffered their third defeat in four matches as Mikel Arteta’s side were deservedly beaten 2-1 at home by Bournemouth. Junior Kroupi have the visitors the lead in the first half before Viktor Gyokeres pulled Arsenal level from the spot. But Mikel Arteta’s side were comfortably second-best after the break and were punished when Alex Scott surged into the area before coolly finishing past David Raya. The Gunners miss out on the opportunity to move 12 points clear at the top of the Premier League table and could have their lead cut to just six points if Manchester City can beat Chelsea on Sunday. As a social commentator and sport analyst this is my honest review Arsenal’s 2–1 loss to Bournemouth yesterday wasn’t random — it came down to a mix of tactical problems, injuries, and repeated defensive/attacking mistakes. 1. Bournemouth outplayed Arsenal’s press Bournemouth set up aggressively and pressed Arsenal high, and Arsenal struggled badly to play through it. Midfielders kept getting rushed and losing possession, which broke Arsenal’s rhythm. Their build-up play looked nervous and disjointed. 2. Key injuries hurt Arsenal badly Arsenal were missing important creative players like Ødegaard, Saka, and Timber, which meant: Less creativity in the final third More predictable attacks, Over-reliance on set pieces instead of open play chances That made it easier for Bournemouth to defend in normal play. 3. Weakness in open play attack Even with possession, Arsenal created very little from open play. Most of their threat came from set pieces, and their attacking combinations were slow and easy to read. 4. Defensive mistakes at key moments Both Bournemouth goals came from avoidable situations: First goal: defensive confusion allowed Eli Junior Kroupi space to finish. Second goal: Arsenal failed to deal with Bournemouth’s pressing phase, and Alex Scott punished them. These weren’t world-class goals — they were lapses in concentration and structure. 5. Missed chances and poor finishing Arsenal had moments (including a penalty from Gyökeres and late chances), but they didn’t convert enough pressure into goals, which left them chasing the game again. MATCH REVIEW IN ONE LINE: Arsenal had more of the ball, but Bournemouth were sharper, more organised, and more clinical — and Arsenal’s injuries + poor open-play structure made the difference. My QUESTIONS 1. Arsenal fans are you worried? 2. Footbal fans, do you think the title race just changed? 3. Will Arsenal bounce back? I want to hear from you, drop your thoughts in the comments and share! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hd5wy6GeDQs?si=_q0dwxb9_zPSPo6k |

ActionAid Nigeria (AAN) has condemned alleged acts of violence against women and girls during a recent cultural festival in Ozoro, headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, calling for the immediate arrest and prosecution of those responsible. In a statement on Friday, Country Director Dr. Andrew Mamedu described the incidents as “disturbing” and said they reflect a “grave failure to guarantee safety and dignity in a communal space.” Video clips of the alleged assaults have circulated widely on social media, showing women and girls being harassed, chased, and assaulted in public Mamedu stressed that “violence against women and girls must never be trivialised, justified, or explained away under any circumstance,” and warned that attempts to frame the incidents as cultural misinterpretations should not excuse the abuse. He added that the occurrence points to broader systemic issues, where harmful norms, silence, and weak enforcement allow such violations to persist. ActionAid Nigeria urged Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State to take decisive action, directing law enforcement agencies to swiftly apprehend perpetrators and publicly disclose measures taken, including arrests and prosecution outcomes. The organisation also called on the Federal and State Ministries of Women Affairs to provide survivor-centred support, including medical care, psychosocial services, legal assistance, and safe reporting mechanisms. “Addressing gender-based violence requires deliberate, sustained action across institutions, communities, and leadership structures. Ozoro kingdom needs to do better and review cultural practices that harm women and girls,” Mamedu said, reaffirming ActionAid’s commitment to protecting the rights, safety, and dignity of women and girls. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2026/03/ozoro-festival-actionaid-demands-arrest-of-perpetrators/amp/ Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHgwLgUfWEA?si=7lIs0Mf_2QJNsfcE

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have foiled attempts by suspected traffickers to smuggle illicit drugs through the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport and the Seme Border, uncovering substances hidden in a fake pregnancy and inside a suspect’s stomach. The agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in a post shared via his X handle on Sunday. According to the statement, a 35-year-old businesswoman, Rabi Muhammad, was intercepted at the Seme border while attempting to cross to Cotonou. Officers became suspicious after noticing her protruding stomach. A search later revealed that her pregnancy was fake and that she had strapped a pink-coloured calabash to her abdomen containing 3,200 capsules of tramadol intended for sale across the border. The statement said, “Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have foiled bizarre plots by two drug traffickers to move consignments of cocaine and opioids hidden in their stomach and fake baby bump through the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) Kano and the Seme land border in Lagos to Europe and other destinations. “A Kano-based businesswoman, 35-year-old Rabi Muhammad, was intercepted by NDLEA officers at the departure tarmac of Seme land border with a protruding tummy on , while attempting to cross to Cotonou in Benin Republic. A full body search, however, revealed the absurd: her pregnancy was fake, and her baby bump was designed with a pink coloured calabash used to conceal 3,200 capsules of tramadol, which she tied around her stomach and was taking to Cotonou to sell. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXWUrn1ZEUc?si=JbdcxYcjiNNfsErh |

Namaster:I doubt if this girl was really under the influence of alcohol. Even if, for how many days was she under the influence? She was posting back to back |
First of all, please permit me to specially appreciate the good work of our very own son of the soil Very dark man, to me VDM is a genius, I must commend the way he single handedly interrogated this lady to the point that she started to confess. He deserves a national recognition. Earlier this week, Mirabel posted a video on TikTok alleging that she had experienced a serious incident at her home, a post that quickly spread across social media platforms and sparked widespread concern. The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) issued a statement urging caution in the way such cases are discussed online and stressing the importance of careful, professional investigation in matters involving alleged violence. Authorities said thorough investigation protects both survivors and those accused while reinforcing the need for facts —not speculation — to guide justice. But to everyone's surprise, the story has been confirmed to be a fabricated lie. In the video she apologized and said she was under the influence of hard drugs, she also said she was a lesbian. What if she had pointed someone, the story would have been something else, this is how many women send innocent men to jail. For me she needs to be arrested and serve some jail terms. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKA7H-8KlZA?si=6ikVKohq2Q8Jhdl4

Osimhen was among the Galatasaray players who gave an impressive display against Juventus. The 27-year-old Nigerian inspired Galatasaray to a 5-2 win over the Serie A giants in Turkey. Victor Osimhen has opened up on the visible frustration he displayed during Galatasaray’s thrilling 5-2 win over Juventus in the UEFA Champions League play-offs. The Nigerian striker may not have found the net on the night at RAMS Park, but he played a central role in the rout, setting up two goals as the Turkish champions surged past the Italian giants in front of a raucous home crowd. Despite the emphatic scoreline, Osimhen was seen visibly upset on two occasions. The first came shortly after Galatasaray went 3-2 ahead, while the second moment unfolded immediately after the final whistle, with the 27-year-old cutting an animated figure on the pitch. Speaking after the match, the former Napoli forward made it clear that his reaction was fuelled not by dissatisfaction, but by ambition. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5S7sJ_In1og?si=Tl773moRsJYO0fOq

Trueigbo:How true is this, please house is it true? |
This is appalling, and discombobulating that a vicious personality like yahaya Bello would be released from prison so quickly. It's lugubrious and it doesn't augur well for our judicial system This is somebody that has been governor of Kogi state for years and the state cannot boast of anything ubiquitous. For someone to be asked to pay N500m as a bail, my brother how much did he really steal? It accentuates we are not yet ready as a country to fight corruption because this will encourage others to do worst https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hanHUGefQfI?si=GHosciOuJzPYnlGZ |

When correcting their husbands, women often make mistakes like criticizing in public, using emotional appeals, lacking respect, and communicating ineffectively. They may also have unrealistic expectations, engage in power struggles, and fail to show empathy. To correct effectively, choose the right time and place, use "I" statements, listen actively, focus on specific actions, and show appreciation. Avoid name-calling, comparisons, and assumptions. Instead, be specific, clear, and respectful, acknowledging his feelings and efforts.
