Affiliate Marketing is about giving solutions to their needs and their problems. They are different products in the affiliate marketing business and they are to be recommended to solve people's problems.

One thing that convinces people the more that affiliate marketing is a referral game is the fact that affiliates will have to go to the people to help them. Okay! Let's solve this problem this way. Hark to me and follow me in this simple analogy I am about to give.

If you are a teacher or you once taught in a primary or secondary school, I have this question for you. In the classroom learning, does the teacher go to the students or do the students go to the teacher? You get it, right. The teacher goes to the students. That is simply the best classroom learning format. That is how it works in affiliate marketing. In affiliate marketing, we know and believe that people won't understand the power of our products if we don't reach out to them. One thing about people, particularly Nigerians, is that, they are too reserved. They will have a problem but will never talk about it until someone shows up to ask them. The moment you approach and try to find out what it is, you will see them spilling out even the problems their forefathers passed down to them. It's funny. You can laugh it out. But, that's the blunt truth.

The point here is, affiliate marketing is not a referral game. It is about promoting and recommending useful products to people who need them. And, to sell, affiliates have to go to the people rather than wait for them to come to them. They are all around you. But, they won't talk to you if you don't talk to them.

HOW DOES AFFILIATE MARKETING WORK?

Like I rightly mentioned earlier, in affiliate marketing, you recommend products to people that need it.

Let's say, for instance, there is a product that works for people who need to JAPA to Canada and it is sold for #30000 by the vendor (I want to believe, by now, you know who a vendor is). If the vendor places a 50% commission on the product for whoever sells the product for him, it means that you will be getting 50% of #30000 which is #15000 if you sell the product successfully.

Alright, let's do a quick maths.

Let's say you are able to sell the product to 2 persons in a day. You have been able to make

#15000 × 2 = #30,000

If you are consistent with this everyday for a week, you will have made

#30000 × 7 = #210,000

And if you are consistent for the month, you will have made

#210000 × 4 = #840,000

That's a whopping sum of money your 9-5 job won't give you in a month.

Ps: I only used 2 persons as an example. You have more than 2 you can reach out to. Just imagine making 5 sales a day and everyday for a month.

So, that is how affiliate marketing works. You can make a fortune from this business and I can guide you to it.

Behold, Joseph was remembered! The freedom he seeked was before him at last. Joseph impressed Pharaoh and was rewarded with a position next to Pharaoh.

Joseph could have said, "o Pharaoh, my king! All I seek is my freedom to go home and jolly with my family again. Kindly grant me just that, my lord".

But, did he say that?

No! Joseph grabbed the opportunity before him. It was a one time opportunity God brought his way and he took advantage of it.

Joseph possibly had weighed the chance in his heart. He would have seen it as the opportunity to free himself. It was opportunity to set himself financially free. It was the opportunity to save his family. It was the opportunity to prepare a decent line to the coming Messiah.

Joseph seized that opportunity at once and maximized it.

If you let money control you, your life becomes a mystery. Money is a master on its own and if care is not taken, it can control you and master you forever. Letting money control you is like letting Satan be your god. The end result is always the same unproductivity and destruction.

You necessarily do not have to acquire so much money to be able to control or master your money. Even if it's a chicken change and it controls you, you are doomed. When money controls you, you have no money at all. That is what it means. You have to take control now. Take actions now! Your pocketbook is not going to be transformed into a Fortunata's purse, which shall always be full of money without effort on your part. You really have to learn to master your money.

Hark to me and I will show you three ways to master your own money.

First, USE YOUR GOALS TO MEASURE YOUR MONEY.

Do not just set goals that can be influenced by your money. Set goals that can influence your money. Many of us measure our goals with the money on hand. If you are doing this, you are only letting money control your desires. You should rather measure your money with your goals. What does this mean?

Let us, for instance, say someone sets a goal to buy a $100000 house. And, per month, the person makes $80000. If the person chooses to go for an $80000 worth of a house, the person has measured his goal with the money on hand. But, if the person chooses to save $50000 apart for the month and saves another $50000 for another month to buy his dream $100000 house, the person has measured the money on hand with his goal. He is satisfied and even has extra to use to cater for others.

Measuring your money with your goals gives you satisfaction and control over your money. It also helps you use your money judiciously. One way to achieve this is to set SMART goals and be patient to achieve them. By the word SMART, I mean your goal should be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time bond.

Second, PAY YOURSELF FIRST!

In another words, I will say, "Do not let your money influence your savings. Rather, let your savings influence your money". Whatever outcome it is that your income produces, always pay yourself first. Paying yourself first implies, whatever comes may, that you want to keep a part of your income in a piggy bank.

One who saves shows mastery over one's money than one who does not save. The one who does not save is only making oneself susceptible to the control of money. Set a percentage of your income that will be saved every month or everytime your income comes in and do not compromise it, whatever comes may. Even if it's $1 that comes into your account as your income, ensure that percentage for savings is taken FIRST.

Saving gives you an edge over the control of money. If you choose to, because the income is low, not save a part of it, your money is a master over you. And, if it continues like that, you will definitely have nothing to reckon with on the long run. Having nothing to beacon on is the mastery money exercises over its owners. So, set apart for yourself, for instance, say 10% of your income as a Saving. Pay yourself FIRST! Do not pay yourself after you have paid other bills. Paying yourself FIRST when other bills have not been settled will push you to do more and it will give you mastery over your money.

Third, INVEST YOUR MONEY WISELY!

To gain full mastery over your money, you need to learn how to invest your money, rather than squander it on frivolities. Investing wisely multiplies your money and gives you control over it. When it comes to investing wisely, there is a "CERTAIN WAY" you need to think and act to achieve a "CERTAIN RESULT". Hark to me and I will show you how to completely control your money with investments.

The first thing you want to do in investing wisely is to Do Your Own Research (DYOR). There are many investment schemes in which some are legitimate and some are not. Do not sit and fold your arms shouting 'scam' to every Investment just because you were scammed once. Not all investments are scams. Some will change your life forever. So, anytime anyone introduces an investment to you, do your research. Acquaint yourself with with the history and mechanism of its workability. Familiarize yourself with the structure and possible risks attached to the investment before you invest your money.

After you must have carefully scrutinized the investment and concluded that it works legitimately, you should quickly grab the opportunity. In investing, you should be fearful when other are greedy and you should be greedy when others are fearful. When others are afraid to take on a legitimate opportunity, you should grab it right away. Do not be discouraged or do not sit down and lament feeling misplaced. Hold the vision of yourself doing the right thing in the business and act immediately. Do not wait till it is too late to hark to it. Grab the opportunity immediately.

While thinking of harking to the investment, thoughts of paying every necessary price to win it big must not elude you. You must be ready to pay the price. The price may come in form of money, time and emotions. You must be ready to make the big sacrifice to win it big. Nothing good comes free or comes on a platters. You have to pay for it. So, prepare your mind, body and soul to pay the price of making it big. Pay the price and see yourself controlling your money mightily.
