In 1985, Sambo Dasuki arrested Muhammadu Buhari on a Sallah Eve. Buhari's mother died while he was in detention. Buhari could not attend her funeral. 30 years later, in 2015, Buhari arrested Dasuki on a Sallah Eve. Dasuki's father died while still in detention. Dasuki could not attend his funeral. Coincidence? https://mobile.facebook.com/hashtag/historyville.

General Buhari The Taqiyya Master By Reno Omokri First published in my column, # TheAlternative , in Sunday ThisDay of May 10, 2020. General Buhari was a member of General Sani Abacha’s cabal. He was not just a member, he was a prominent member. He was Abacha’s right-hand man. Abacha is the world’s biggest thief, EVER. It is difficult to believe he pulled off his heist without Buhari’s knowledge. And when you take into account General Buhari’s insistence that Abacha did not steal, though his thievery is of world record-breaking savagery, you begin to see his incredible assertions in a new light. I am not sure Buhari is protecting Abacha when he says that. Perhaps he is protecting himself. As the adage goes, show me your friends, and I will tell you who you are. Look at Buhari’s friends. Abacha (the world’s biggest thief). Babachir Lawal (of grasscutter fame). Nasir Danu (caught at Heathrow with a fake passport and huge sums of money). It is easy to see what Buhari is. Buhari cannot deny that he was a cabalist under Abacha. We have eyewitness testimony from no less a witness as former Governor Donald Duke. In a June 2018 interview, the former Governor of Cross River State testified of his interaction with Abacha’s cabal at Aso Rock as follows: “One day, we were summoned to the Villa, and we were told it was over our bitumen report. I need to be graphic here. There’s Abacha sitting in the middle, to his right was Oladipo Diya, Chief of General Staff. To his left was Abdulsalam Abubakar who was Chief of Defense Staff. To Abdulsalam’s left was General Buhari who was Chairman, Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF). He’s a bitumen user. To his left was Dan Etete, who was Minister of Petroleum. To Etete’s left was Alhaji Bayero who was GMD NNPC. To the right of Diya was General Adisa.” From the above, General Buhari cannot deny that he is a companion of thieves and criminals. So, where then is his famed but non-existent integrity? An integrity that could not tell us the identity of the owners of the Ikoyi Apartment billions? An integrity that is trying Atiku Abubakar’s in-law on trumped-up charges of money laundering, while wilfully ignoring the fact that bullion vans were caught by drones going into the house of Bola Tinubu, on the eve of the last Presidential elections, in contravention of the Money Laundering Act, 2011. These are the realities that Transparency International sees that has made it declare that Nigeria, under General Buhari, is more corrupt than she ever was at any time under former President Jonathan. That is the more reason why I laughed when the All Progressive Congress issued a statement last week, saying that General Buhari had achieved more than the Obasanjo-Atiku government. How can a government that has multiplied our foreign debt by five (and is still borrowing), say it is better than a government that paid off our entire foreign debt? This is a man whose wife does not even believe in him and has said so privately and publicly! So, let me make this challenge to all those still in the delusory phase of believing that General Buhari has integrity. If he has integrity, then prove it by answering the following questions: 10 Questions for Those Who Say General Buhari Has Integrity * What happened to Aisha Buhari’s ADC and the billions he allegedly stole? * Why is Bola Tinubu not being charged despite clear evidence of bullion vans carrying money into his home on Election Day, in contravention of the Money Laundering Act, 2011 * What happened to Nasir Danu, Buhari’s right-hand man, who was arrested at London Heathrow Airport with huge undeclared sums of money and a fake passport? * Who owns the Ikoyi Apartment billions? * What has happened to Babachir Lawal’s case? * Where did Yusuf Buhari get money for his multimillion naira power bike? * Why was NNPC’s $25 billion never investigated? * Why was General Buhari daughter made a manager at an NNPC subsidiary? * How come Nigeria’s foreign debt increased from $7 billion in 2015 to $30 billion today, with little to show for it? * Why was Buhari seeking a $500 million loan to digitalise NTA, at a time when Nigeria had more pressing needs? If you can satisfactorily answer these questions, I will believe with you that Buhari has integrity. The truth is that General Buhari is as corrupt and tribalistic as they come. And you do not need to look too far. Read his comments on fuel subsidy before he became President. He called it a fraud. He said he would get rid of it. He got elected and rather than get rid of it, as he promised, he increased it. Now, is that honesty? Is that integrity? No. That is Taqiyya-a widely abused principle that allows some persons to lie to those who do not share their faith, to deceive them into letting their guards down. General Buhari has repeatedly used Taqiyya on Nigeria. What happened to his promise to restructure Nigeria? What happened to the vow to create 3 million jobs per annum (instead he has lost 17 million jobs so far, and he is not done)? Where is the commitment that “I belong to everybody, and I belong to nobody.” (Plagiarised from Charles De Gaulle)? The man who said he belongs to nobody has surrounded himself with Northern Muslim men. Under General Buhari, the heads of the Executive, Legislature, Judiciary, Defence Ministry, Army, Police, NSA, DSS, NIA, DMI, DIA, NPS, NCS, NIS, and EFCC are all Northern Muslim men. This lack of balance is against the Federal Character Act of 1996. It is ILLEGAL! But beyond being illegal, General Buhari has turned Nigeria’s Federal Government into a Muslim brotherhood. If you thought that he was joking when he said “the constituents, for example, gave me 97% cannot in all honesty be treated on some issues with constituencies that gave me 5%”, his appointments must have left you with no other option than to see that he is a stark, raving, nepotist! This is a man that will rain down fire and brimstone on IPOB, Niger Delta militants, Shiites and other 5 percenters, but when it comes to herdsmen, the vicious and unforgiving General Buhari turns to a pussy cat and loses all his viciousness. This is a man who refused to send a plane to repatriate Nigerians stranded in South Africa during the sad xenophobic attacks in that country, or in Wuhan, when COVID19 broke out, but he speedily sent planes to pick up Boko Haram members and their wives and children, from Niger Republic to Nigeria, where they were sent to a well-appointed rehabilitation centre. This is even as the gallant men and women of our armed forces, who were wounded in service, have not been given such treatment. If you want to understand General Buhari, then you must go and study the principle of Taqiyya. Otherwise you will just focus on his words and not his actions until you become a victim of Taqiyya yourself. Reno’s Nuggets |

News: Madagascar president has declared that whether WHO approves or not the Herbal medicine that has been discovered to cure COVID 19, he will continue to use it in order to heal people. He added that; "it's not time to play or make money but to save people from this evil pandemic. GOD has shown us real mecine but evil people want to oppose. I'll use it to save my people and Africa at large. Those who underestimate Africans, let them be. The girl you are seeing on the picture being tested was tested postive one week ago but she's completely healed by the same Herbal medicine.

Never Condemn Wike This!!! Copied *The real reasons the hotels were demolished.* RIVERS LAWMAKER, HON. KELECHI NWOGU BARES HIS MIND ON THE DEMOLITION OF TWO HOTELS BY GOV. WIKE On May 4, Governor Nyesom Wike gave an executive order that every hotels in Rivers State should suspend operation, as a way of curbing the spread of COVID-19. A stern warning was issued against any hotelier planning to disobey this order, and it was clearly spelled out that such hotel would be demolished. Let us not forget that about eight out of the 21 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the state emanated from hotels, including a returnee offshore worker who lodged also in one of the hotels in Rivers State. After the order was given, almost all the hotels suspended operations, but two recalcitrant hoteliers continued operating despite the warnings and directives. When Rivers State COVID-19 Taskforce visited Prodest Homes Motel, Eleme, members of the taskforce were BEATEN, and their vehicle SEIZED. As I type this, one member of the taskforce is HOSPITALIZED after sustaining serious injuries from the attack unleashed on them. I wonder why people are fixated on demolition and not talking about the offense committed. The said hotels are in rural areas, imagine if their activities bring COVID-19 to that area, the community transmission would be colossal. To let you know that the action of the state government has no political undertone, the young man declared wanted by the government is even the PDP youth leader in Eleme. The taskforce found him in that hotel, he immediately sent thugs to beat them up and SEIZED the government vehicle. For those who are of the opinion that the buildings should have been sealed off, I want you to know that the government took that hard decision to serve as deterrent to others, because some hoteliers would deliberately flout the order if they know their hotel won't be demolished as earlier stated. DON'T FORGET THAT NO MANSION CAN EQUATE THE LIFE OF ANYONE. We are talking about a matter of life and death here. Finally, let us be law abiding citizens; by so doing, the government will tackle this pandemic quickly and normalcy will return. *Hon Kelechi Nwogu* Copied. |

Coronavirus: How they tried to curb Spanish flu pandemic in 1918. It is dangerous to draw too many parallels between coronavirus and the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic, that killed at least 50 million people around the world. Covid-19 is an entirely new disease, which disproportionately affects older people. The deadly strain of influenza that swept the globe in 1918 tended to strike those aged between 20 and 30, with strong immune systems. But the actions taken by governments and individuals to prevent the spread of infection have a familiar ring to them. Public Health England studied the Spanish flu outbreak to draw up its initial contingency plan for coronavirus, the key lesson being that the second wave of the disease, in the autumn of 1918, proved to be far more deadly than the first. The disease spread like wildfire in crowded troop transports and munitions factories, and on buses and trains, according to a 1919 report by Sir Arthur Newsholme for the Royal Society of Medicine. But a "memorandum for public use" he had written in July 1918, that advised people to stay at home if they were sick and to avoid large gatherings, was buried by the government. Sir Arthur argued that many lives could have been saved if these rules had been followed, but he added: "There are national circumstances in which the major duty is to 'carry on', even when risk to health and life is involved." In 1918, there were no treatments for influenza and no antibiotics to treat complications such as pneumonia. Hospitals were quickly overwhelmed. There was no centrally imposed lockdown to curb the spread of infection, although many theatres, dance halls, cinemas and churches were closed, in some cases for months. Pubs, which were already subject to wartime restrictions on opening hours, mostly stayed open. The Football League and the FA Cup had been cancelled for the war, but there was no effort to cancel other matches or limit crowds, with men's teams playing in regional competitions, and women's football, which attracted large crowds, continuing throughout the pandemic. Streets in some towns and cities were sprayed with disinfectant and some people wore anti-germ masks, as they went about their daily lives. Public health messages were confused - and, just like today, fake news and conspiracy theories abounded, although the general level of ignorance about healthy lifestyles did not help. In some factories, no-smoking rules were relaxed, in the belief that cigarettes would help prevent infection. During a Commons debate on the pandemic, Conservative MP Claude Lowther asked: "Is it a fact that a sure preventative against influenza is cocoa taken three times a day?" Publicity campaigns and leaflets warned against spreading disease through coughs and sneezes. In November 1918, the News of the World advised its readers to: "wash inside nose with soap and water each night and morning; force yourself to sneeze night and morning, then breathe deeply. Do not wear a muffler; take sharp walks regularly and walk home from work; eat plenty of porridge." No country was untouched by the 1918 pandemic, although the scale of its impact, and of government efforts to protect their populations, varied widely. In the United States, some states imposed quarantines on their citizens, with mixed results, while others tried to make the wearing of face masks compulsory. Cinemas, theatres and other places of entertainment were closed across the country. But it proved impossible to prevent mass gatherings in many US cities, particularly at places of worship. By the end of the pandemic, the death toll in Britain was 228,000, and a quarter of the population are thought to have been infected. Efforts to kill the virus continued for some time, and the population were more aware than ever of the potentially deadly nature of seasonal influenza.

[quote author=Gemid94 post=89399857]Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has given reasons why he demolished Prodest Hotel in Alode and Etemeteh Hotel in Onne, both in Eleme Local Government Area of the state. Wike said the hotels were demolished after it violated an Executive Order on COVID 19, despite warnings from the State government. The Governor said that the focus on hotels was because one of the coronavirus cases in the state spread the virus from a hotel. Wike who monitored the demolition of Prodest Hotel, Alode, Eleme said his action was in line with the Rivers State Government Executive Order 6, which banned the operation of hotels across the 23 Local Government Areas of the State. Governor Wike told newsmen at the demolition scene that the law must be obeyed, hence the State Government’s decision to enforce it. http://community.vanguardngr.com/forum/topics/covid-19-gov-wike-gives-reasons-for-demolishing-two-hostels He should have maintain a composure. |
When Awolowo was sentenced to prison, a lot of Progressives were shocked, some died instantly and some became sickly! Some people(Bishops and Statesmen) went to beg the Central Government of Zik and Balewa. The Government agreed to free Awolowo but, knowing fully well that Awolowo would not agree, they said his wife HID must come to beg the government and after that, Awolowo would be freed. The aim was to put Awolowo's wife pictures begging the government on front pages of major newspapers. The 'Eminent' men went to meet HID and persuaded her to beg the government. HID thanked them all but said she could only do that if her husband permitted her, if not, she would not. Recall in 1986, similar offer was made to GMB's former wife but she fell for it, Buhari later divorced her. The eminent men went to meet Awolowo in prison and begged him to allow his wife beg the government, they cited many verses from the Bible(Read My March through Prisons or Travails of Democracy and the Rule of Law by Chief Obafemi Awolowo). Awolowo, in reply, thanked them very well but declined. He said "my wife beg who exactly? Will she kneel down or prostrate? Beg for what offence exactly? That I plotted a Coup? That's ridiculous! You're men of God, you should know that God does not not encourage people to bow to injustice....".... *Awolowo allegedly said and I quote " I believe I should not be in prison but here I am, the only Premier that ended up in prison for no reason.* *_If we are confused about my innocence, let God be the Judge.* *_If truly I did what they accused me of, I will not come out of this prison alive but if I am innocent, I will not spend my life here in prison, I will come out and as the Lord lives, I won't meet any of those who conspired against me alive......._* Thank you gentlemen for your visit, I wish you journey mercies.... " By the time Awolowo was released from prison few years later by Yakubu Gown, all those that conspired to imprison him, Ahmadu Bello, Tafawa Balewa, Akintola and the rest had been killed in a coup. You live on the earth, you eat rat, you live on the earth you eat fish, you live on the earth you do evil, the judgement is in the earth.... Earth the killer! The rest is history!
