SUCCESS SATURDAY
DAMILOLA MIKE-BAMILOYE: Script Writer, Cinematographer, Movie Producer.
In Africa, it is not a common phenomenon to see a family business being successfully transitioned to the next generation but evidence abounds of the replication of Mount Zion Drama Ministry’s vision in greater dimensions in the lives of Mike and Gloria Bamiloye’s children exactly as Gloria Bamiloye said, “the Ministry is operating under a ‘Davidic covenant’ that will be passed from generation to generation.”
Born on 16th September 1989, Michael Oluwadamilola Ilerioluwa Mike-Bamiloye is the first child of Mike and Gloria Bamiloye of the Mount Zion Drama Ministry and Mount Zion Television. His journey into film production began while he was a child, mimicking his dad’s movies during playtime with his siblings which later progressed to copying his dad’s scripts before he graduated into writing his movies.
His first break into film production was at the age of 15 when he produced his first movie ‘Youthful Lust’. He proceeded to serve as his father’s personal assistant (PA) after the compulsory national youth service according to a divine instruction he received in 2012 during his NYSC days in Imo State.
Serving as Mike Bamiloye’s PA was the training field used by God to sharpen his life’s purpose. He got his opportunity when the family travelled to Australia for a film shooting in Australia, they had no cameraman and he had to step into the big shoes by searching online and consulting with past hired cameramen on how to handle the video camera DSLR 60D. He later went on to shoot his first movie ‘Harvest of Crisis’ in Australia, with his skills improving over time and he is now the Director of Photography, Mount Zion Film Productions amongst other roles in the Ministry.
A graduate of Mass Communication from Bowen University, he has successfully bridged the gap by exploring new markets and opportunities in pushing the Ministry’s vision through social media. He became popular with his short skits on YouTube such as ‘Pepper Love’, ‘The Table is Set’ ‘The Professional Actor’, ‘The Sore’, ‘A Minute More’, ‘The Grand Thief’, Empty Proposal’, ‘She dey look Me’, ‘Head Cut’, ‘A Hundred Thousand’, ‘Check Up’.
In 2018, his father’s movies came under online backlash when his younger brother, Joshua Mike-Bamiloye tweeted that an American movie series was a ploy by the devil to win souls for himself by making people fall in love with the character, ‘Lucifer’ to which someone replied, “Your dad’s poorly researched, badly scripted and low budget attempt at movies didn’t do Christianity any favours either.”
However, in 2020, God proved the naysayers wrong, despite the uncertainties posed by corona virus pandemic, by the release of ‘The Train’ which was written and produced by him on 3rd May 2020. By 18th May 2020, the 3-hours movie had hit 1 Million views in 15 days and maintained the Number 1 spot on YouTube Nigeria Trending chart for 2 weeks. As at 6th June 2020, the views had reached 1,397,365 on Damilola Mike-Bamiloye YouTube channel.
He is an inspiration to the young generation that hard work and commitment pays with his younger siblings following his footsteps while branching out into different aspects of media production.
In 2018, he married his heartthrob, Dr Emmanuella who is a medical doctor, a blogger and a dramatist. They had their beautiful baby girl, Gloria in 2020.
In his words: “I am highly passionate about making movies that preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am only carrying out the plan of God and reaching the simplest community unit which is the family.”

Politics24 Years After The Assassination Of Kudirat Abiola by ProfOlu(op): 10:01pm On Jun 05, 2020
W omen Arise for Change Initiatives and Kudirat Initiative for Democracy have described Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, wife of the acclaimed winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, as mother of the struggle for democracy in Nigeria.
The late Kudirat was hailed for displaying uncommon courage, virtue and doggedness during her lifetime.
Presidents of Women Arise, Joe Okey Odumakin, and KIND, Hafsat Abiola-Costello, in a joint statement on said Kudirat’s gruesome murder was still fresh in their memories 24-year after.
The statement reads, “We remember with fond memories the slain heroine and mother of the struggle for democracy in Nigeria, the indefatigable Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, who was gruesomely hacked down 24 years ago.
“She roared like a lion at many pro-democracy gatherings and marches against the vile dictators and their cohorts trembled with trepidation.
“For her stubborn and uncompromising defence of principles, the military authorities killed her on the streets of Lagos on June 4, 1996.
“As we remember Kudirat today despite the Coronavirus pandemic that has made impossible physical gathering like we used to do in her honour, we must remain steadfast on the principles she died for.
“We demand an end to wanton killings in the land, we also ask for freedom for Leah Sharibu and all others in the gulag of terrorists.”

CelebritiesPopular Actress Reveals Why Men Use And Dump Yoruba Actresses by ProfOlu(op): 9:46pm On May 27, 2020
Fast growing Yoruba actress, Oluwatayo Jane Ogunshakin has talked about some of the biggest challenges actresses
face.

According to her, these challenges force several actresses, especially among the Yoruba movie genre to remain unmarried even at the age of 40.
The Ekiti born script revealed this to newsman, Gbolahan Adetayo, who asked about her views on actresses who are single, yet beautiful.
In her response, Jane revealed that, they are fake, that is why men use and dump them. She said;

“May God help us. There are several reasons 99% of Nollywood actresses will be single forever. Number one, we are too fake. Many of my colleagues lives fake life styles, trying to claim what they are not. Believe me or not, serious men actually identify a genuine woman when they see one.

If you are too fake, they will just use and dump you. Another reason is that, many of them are not contented with what they have and that is why you see them traveling abroad to enlarge their boobs and boots, not knowing that they are still going to suffer it in future. Let them go and ask the women with real big Ass what they are facing in their old age.
The load at the back side will be too heavy for the bones of their legs to carry and arthritis set in, then they starts walking like Camel. Another factor contributing to Nollywood actresses not to have a husband or keep a serious relationship is that, many of us have refused to be called black woman again, they have washed away their real colours through series of bleaching and whitening creams.

The way some of them smell self is nothing to write home about. With all these facts I have listed above, do you think a serious man will stay with you? Or you think they don’t know what they actually want? Let’s even look at it from the spiritual angle.
There are men who have been told through prophecy not to marry a white woman, such man obviously will exclude white woman from his choice of woman, meanwhile the person who has been destined to be his wife has bleached away her real colour, such lady has automatically missed her destined man and she might remain single forever or marry a wrong man, months after the wedding, they return to their father’s house to be a single mother”,

Ebus12:
My fellow nairalanders
Good afternoon

I have been a member for close to a year now.... Even though I have been a guest for about 2 years before joining.

I have sought advice here twice and your advice has really helped a lot. Please help me once more my people

I just got admitted into a school in the south East while my parents live in the North.

My parents (my mum especially) pleaded with me to stay with her eldest sister and her children for a while, at least for my first year in school

I didn't want it at first ... But I had to agree just cuz of the way my mom was now on my neck.
She worried I knew nothing about the east.... She wanted me to get a bit used to the East

With the help of my dad..... She succeeded in convincing me to stay in her sister's house.

My first weeks in the house was quiet peaceful and fun not untill my cousin brother started looking for his biscuits

Funny right huh

It seemed funny that a 23 years old dude would turn out to be a devil just cuz of an ordinary 100 naira biscuits.
Mind you ... He is the only son
He asked everyone and everyone denied taking it. He asked me and I too denied it.... Cuz I didn't take it.

He beat hell out of me... Insisting I was the thief.
We became almost enemies and didn't talk to each other for about 2 months.
Aways from that ... We reconciled tho

But he still remained a trouble to my life
Always beating me as if am an animal.... He beats his sister too.

But it seems mine is worst
He has stopped me from sitting on a particular chair in the parlour.
He bullies me ... Telling me there is nothing I, my parents, or anyone can do to him.

I received the beating of my life today because the Tv remote got spoilted and he is insisting it's me. He accuses me of virtually everything that goes wrong in the house.

I'm getting sick, depressed and it's affecting me alot.

I don't want to disturb my mum about it ... It might cause problem between she and her sister
I don't want to be the cause of anyone's quarrel with another person.

I wish to go home. And I can't go back home now ... Cuz of the Corona virus and the inter state lockdown.

Please what do I do huh?
Help me out
He gets worst by the day.
wake from your slumber. You can't tell your mum, your sister, and you are complaining you are being beaten everyday. Look, you have two options, is either you tell your mum, and safe your life from untimely death, or refuse to tell her and keep on enjoying the beatings, which may lead to something worst about you.

Coronavirus: Whereabouts of 15 Chinese medical experts, who arrived in Nigeria in early April, unknown

Authorities in Nigeria say the whereabouts of a team of 15 Chinese medical experts who arrived the country in early April is not known to the government.

The Chinese team who travelled to Nigeria to support the country’s fight against coronavirus had been received at the airport by government officials, including Health Minister Osagie Ehanire.

But on Thursday, a frustrated Mr Ehanire told reporters that the experts were guests of a Chinese construction company handling several high-profile projects in Nigeria and that not all of them were doctors, as he had heard that some of were technicians who are staff of the company.

“There seems to be a lot of interest in these doctors but they are staff of a company. I would be very happy if you do not ask me where they are,” he told reporters.

“They are not really our guests in that sense but we have been able to learn some things from them. We shared ideas of what they did in their country in managing Covid-19.”

Mr Ehanire’s statement seems to be at odds with that of Information Minister Lai Mohammed, who last week told reporters that the Chinese doctors were already working at different isolation centres across the country where they were “helping our doctors in capacity building”.

Two of America's presidents, namely Abraham Lincoln and John F Kennedy, share a multitude of barely believable coincidences. Both were killed from gunshot wounds to the back of the head; both died on a Friday; both died.

But there's more! Both had a friend called Billy Graham, both had four children, both of their successors were vice presidents called Johnson!.
What a coincidence.

According to nnamdi Kanu, who may or may not be alive based on reports making rounds, Mohammed Buhari of Nigeria has long died and was buried in Saudi Arabia.

Then Jubril of sudan, a Buhari lookalike appears in the scene. Two days ago, the jubril died.

Now one Aminu Umar of Cameroon is now currently in AsoRock..
He is younger than Buhari but older than jubril. He can speak fulfude but can't speak English.
He is the same height with Buhari unlike jubril who was shorter. Unlike jubril and Buhari, Aminu doesn't laugh. He is always angry.
Aminu Umar who is from the North of Cameroon is currently occupying AsoRock. The Chinese came to disable the fingerprint of Abba Kyari, so that Aminu can be able to access the office of the late jubril, which was the former office of the late Buhari.

I'd be giving you more updates on the drama in AsoRock. We see all things..
What a zoo. Why can't Nigerians reason, and think about the affairs of the country. look at the message, don't look at the person that sent the message. Why are people still satisfied with all these nonsense going on this country. It is quite heartbroken, that Nigerians are not concerned on how they are being governed. No wonder, the white men always laugh at us.
What a jungle we are.
