TheSuperNerd:This is so true, the boy is very good on the ball, he plays so much like Leroy sané . I think rohr has just brought a revelation to our national team squad |
rohr obviously knows what he's doing. he has a plan and knows the kind of players that fit into it . you don't expect him to present his list to these people and they start criticizing the list saying this player isn't good enough or that player should not be selected since he knows what he wants he knows these people won't agree to his list now there is a problem, rohr has to do something about this, he has to find a way to unite the nff committee and players too, so he does not end up failing as for nosa igiebor , that guy is definitely silly. he has forgotten he plays for Nigeria, a country with a lot of good footballers and he's very replaceable.... instead of ranting, he should be working harder so he can secure a move to a bigger league and gain his place back in the national team. by the way, which super eagles midfielder was he ranting he was better than is it Mikel, ndidi or etebo? hehehe nawa ooo |
But seriously why is everyone criticizing rohr for inviting the likes of sareren-bazee and ebuehi. as a Nigerian based in Hannover, Germany. I can tell you that sareren-bazee is a great player. I watch him almost every week and for me he's just as good as Sané. he might not score alot of goals but he has other qualities like pace, dribbling and he gives alot of assists too. I don't really know much about Tyrone but I think he's also good too. I thinks those NFPL players are just overhyped , these players aren't really good technically, you can tell from the way they play on TV and even their poor performance outside the country in caf tournaments. I think the best players are the ones abroad. forget odey we've got kayode and kelechi , They are much better , probably when they go abroad they might learn enough to be good enough for the national team. as for onyekuru's snub, I think rohr is right too. onyekuru does not play in the best of leagues . so he'll have to prove his consistency for another season to prove he's good enough for the national team so he does not end up like the likes of Peter utaka and co. people might also want to prove me wrong about what I said about home based players with the likes of oboabona mba and co. but I must say that their performance especially in afcon 2013 was mainly because of the late Stephen keshi's tactical genius. you can tell by looking at where they are today |
imagine this against Cameroon 3-4-3 ikeme: omeruo, ekong, balogun: Moses ndidi Mikel Aina : iwobi ,sareren-bazee, iheanacho |

Hey guys, one of my friends who happens to be an Indian is thinking of continuing her Studies in Nigeria, and she wants to study MBBS, so she asked me for my opinion but I have no idea, and she has been living in Nigeria for 4 years now. So nairalanders, which medical school is the best in Nigeria ? |
tripplephi:Thanks alot, I just felt that buying those things would be more offensive than telling her, but, by the way, thanks for your suggestion |
Hello, I'm a final year student in the university of Lagos, and there is this beautiful girl I've been hanging with for a while, she happens to be a calabar girl, and I feel lucky to have her because im not a very handsome or Rich guy but........... It's just that she doesn't dress good. And here it's how it all started Well, months back, I noticed she liked one of my friends and was always trying to seek his attention, but he didn't just like her and I guess it was because of the way she dressed cos she actually looked rough with squeezed clothes, unkept hair, and she happened to have unshaved BEARDS which was a major turn off for many guys including me. Until about a month ago when I was in a Brt bus going to ikorodu and I decided to stand up for her to sit cos she was standing and since then, we've been getting closer and closer and closer and we're are now very close, but my friends have been making jest of me cos of her beards(but I don't care) and I just want her to shave it and maybe start dressing more neatly, but I don't know how to tell her without offending her cos she gets offended quickly and I don't want to do anything that will offend her cos this girl is my miss world, she's beautiful and extremely intelligent and I want other guys to know what they've been missing. so girls do you have any idea how I can tell her to shave her beards without offending her ? |
Hello medics, my uncle in Ghana just sent me some medical textbooks for my 200l because of the present high price of medical books in Nigeria due to the rise in the value of dollar, but he sent me Harper's illustrated biochemistry and charteajea medical biochemistry instead of the lippincott and vasudevan I requested for. Please medics, How good is that charteajea biochemistry textbook ? I'll really appreciate your answers |
Hello medics, I'm about resuming 200l in unilag, mbbs in precise but I'll like to use a combination of two physiology textbooks. So I'll like to ask what combo(2) would be best in Guyton and hall, ganong and sebulingam. Thanks ![]() |
Hmmm, tough decision though. They are the same thing in my eyes though |
Ace producer and founder of The Supreme Mavin Dynasty, Don Jazzy, a.k.a- Michael Collins, has begged his fans over alleged reports that he deliberately shunned Senator Ben Murray-Bruce’s request for him to perform alongside his former Mo’Hits Records partner, D’banj. Explaining to his fans, Don Jazzy cleared the air over the incidence stressing that he left the venue of the event way before D’banj was scheduled to perform while maintaining that he has decided to take a break from being an artist. Recall that the ‘Common Sense Senator’ Ben Murray Bruce Senator Bruce made the call for Don Jazzy to join D’banj while he was performing at Bruce's 60 birthday celebrations which held in Eko Hotel, yesterday. Responding to Bruce’s ‘please do this for me, it is my birthday request’ plea, D’banj revealed that he is ready to work with Don Jazzy whenever he is ready. ‘I have given serious consideration to this. Before I came on stage, I went to Don Jazzy and asked him to join me on stage. If he gives me a beat today, we will release the song tomorrow.’ he said.

Hello, I'm a student of UNILAG in my fourth year. Years back when I was a fresher I fell in love with this pretty girl. I always admired her and I always stared at her too but her body language was usually discouraging. It was not until 200L I got the courage to step up to her. So we started greeting each other but she still didn't give me the attention I wanted. Until 200L second semester when she discovered I was on a 5.0cGPA, we became friends and we usually study together and I teach her topics she didn't understand until one day we were studying together, so she asked me a question that "why are you so fair" (although I was really fair with a curly dark hair, right from birth, everyone called me oyinbo) it was then I started lying to her that my mum was american and my father was Nigerian. So I was a half breed. So I also lied to her that my dad works for Nigerian breweries as a manager and my mum works at mtn as a manager too and we lived in abuja with the main aim of impressing her, meanwhile my dad sells beer and my mum is an housewife from ilaje and we live in ikorodu So, with Time she became my girlfriend and I noticed that she loved me for who I was not what I said I was, she wouldn't even collect a Thing from me, instead she buys things for me, she even bought à N12,000 wristwatch for me on my birthday last year. I wanted to confess to her that I lied to her so many times when she says she's looking forward to seeing my parents but I remembered she used to tell me she loves me because I was a honest guy. So, I was usually confused, it was until late last month when I fell down the stairs in my hostel and I dislocated my arm. I was rushed to the medical center and she stood by my side in the Hospital alongside my roomate. So, the nurse decided to collect my parents number and call them to pick me up And take me to another Hospital. Then, my parents arrived within an Hour and she was surprised because I told her they lived in abuja, then she became more surprised when she saw that my mother wasn't white and my mother was yelling at me in yoruba. I was on my bed looking straight at her eyes but she remained quiet. Then she helped them to carry me to the car and waved to me with a Big smile on her face. That was the last time we spoke, since then she hasn't picked my calls, reply my text messages or pings and when I saw her on monday in school, she just ignored me and walk away with her friends. Please, I really need to get her back before the end of february 14. Any advice from nairaland ers please ? |

Well, because the fact remains that most american books are better than Indian books in the sense that, Indian books are designed to make you PASS
