As long as you bear same surname with the person you intend to help attest result for, then there is no problem....Go with a valid means of identification.

You mean they won't accept a friend or a non-surname person to do it ; I assume they will have agencies who helps to do this process.
For my scenario both me and brother not residing in Nigeria.

@gentlenoni- I got some answer for you as per old comment from this forum;Meanwhile need your help on checking possibility to do on behalf of someone; as I need to do the same for a brother who is resident abroad.

"Did mine last week... Get your ssce scratch card along while going but if you are unable they will sell it for you 1200, 1000 for the scratch card and 200 for the the result checking. After that you are going to pay 300 for each document you want to attest.. Go along with your testimonial, original SSCE, origina BSc, transcript and international passport. You will be asked to come back after a week for your letter of eligibility. That's all for the ministry of education..... And for foreign affairs, i paid 1k for each document because it's express and i need to go back that same day so i don't really know how much its going to cost there for each document... And for UAE embassy you pay 19k for each document including your letter of eligibility.

Bros it's now 2k oo that was what I paid for express at mofa. I also notorized my documents too for 2k each. Transcript and eligibility letter wasn't important for mine maybe it's because I'm headed to an Asian country"

Everybody...praise the Lord with me a second time! We just got our 190 grant. We decided to apply for the 190 to save us childcare costs, rather than waiting 2 yrs on the 489. I had given up, especially after receiving the delay mail.

Izykvision0 where are you o? It's like onshore applicants are the ones enjoying now. I was really worried when my application changed back to application received 2 days back...guess it was a good sign.

You right! I was match with the first one. read the below for easier understanding how it works :

If your degree is assessed as having an ICT major which is closely related to your nominated occupation, you will require 2 years relevant work experience completed within the past 10 years or 4 years relevant work experience completed anytime in your past work history (whichever provides the earliest skill date) to meet the suitability criteria.

If your degree is assessed as having an ICT major which is NOT closely related to your nominated occupation, you will require 4 years relevant work experience completed anytime in your past work history to meet the suitability criteria.

So the deal for you is : Which skill occupation is ur best match and what is ur degree course ? If these 2 matches U are game with 2yrs exp removed and if not you are game with 4yrs removed to meet the the suitability criteria.

Payslip is not required. ACS don't want anything than its requirements:
Intl Passport or birth certificate
EducationAL qualifications e.g certificate and transcript only.
post university employment reference/s

Note there are exceptions if you are not ICT majors.

Price was reasonable and most important his MARA No. stamp was inscribed on the stamp. Am using BSC + Work Experience, My BSC is ICT Major. ACS seems pretty fast these days in response and result outcome.

Go to the state or federal court in the state u reside. In Plateau state, state courts are still on strike while federal courts have called theirs off. So I did at the latter recently at N100/page.

According to ACS, Certified copies are highly required as stated below :

Certified Documents
All documents must be certified copies of originals and uploaded into the online application form as PDF files.
A document is a certified copy when the original document is photocopied or scanned and a person authorised to certify documents stamps and signs the copy, signifying that it is a true copy of the original document.
The following information is required on each page of your certified copy:
 The words “Certified True Copy of the Original”
 The signature of the certifying person
 The date signed and name of the certifying person
 Registration number or title of the certifying person (eg: Police Officer, Doctor)
 Certification details must be legible on the copy

Who is the best shot to help certifying these docs with accordance to ACS requirement.

My assessing body is ACS, the minimum deduction from work experience is 2years from my understanding.

Nope...he can only claim 10pts, not 15.

The way ACS works is funny. Even those that have their degrees equated to ICT major Bachelor's, still have their work experience deducted.

So he can neither claim Bachelor segree points, nor work experience points.

Ferdimako, Please you will only be able to claim for point for b.sc after your graduation. Work experience prior to b.sc not acceptable.
I Know and I am very sure of this cos we fell foul of this as our agent was not experienced. We had to reapply and pay all over.
