Pardon me if I'm wrong, but it seems you don't know much about c++. Its best not to misinform people.

And to the O.P my advice is simple do not learn c++ and java together, confusion might set in somewhere on the line and you'll start mixing up things. Learn one first and then move over to the next, I learnt c++ first before moving over to learn java. You can do yours the other way but I'm glad I followed this pattern cause it made learning java so easy for me and I am a proud user of both languages.
