cococandy: The corn and bananas you eat today are gmo
Without biologically modifying them, you wouldn’t have found them desirable to eat . These are before and after pictures of them before they got modified.
Also gmo is as old as time. People want to claim cross breeding is different from gmo. The only difference is that the technology has improved and scientists can now select the specific gene they want but farmers since time immemorial have been manipulating the genes of plants to make them more Visually desirable, more palatable, more resilient to bad weather and resistant to pests.
It must be exhausting thinking everything is a conspiracy and there’s someone always lurking in the dark trying to take your soul.
The main issue is the companies trying to monopolize certain breed and trademark certain varieties so that no one but them is allowed to plant it. That’s foul. I wouldn't have replied you but for the fact that you said that without biologicaly modifying them, that they wouldn't be found desirable to eat. Did you read what you wrote. So right from Adam, they have been modifying food before they can be desirable to eat? |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Faces Collapse 'in Less Than A Year' If War Continues: Retired General by prophetfire: 7:38pm On Aug 23, 2024 |
FreeStuffsNG: Facing a crumbling economy, global calls for boycotts, internal strife, a shortage of troops, and war on several fronts, Israeli authorities have continued to sabotage ceasefire talks that could quell regional tensions
“All roads of political and military rank lead Israel to the slope … Israel has entered an existential spin, and it may soon reach a point of return,” Brik concludes.
Some people hide in Nigeria, in their comfort, and hype war as if they have ever in their own lives seen the kind of magnitude of war going on currently in Israel, Palestine and Lebanon. Is that not the height of hypocrisy? Smh.
Whole Northern region of Israel is now a war zone and no school is resuming there next month. Isrealis are currently living in camps away from their homes.
This feedback from the retired General is the new reality gradually setting in. Both sides can't be at peace and the world can't continue watching the genocide in Gaza or ignore the fatality of the October 7 attack. Both sides should stop the war and embrace peace.
It's been over 10 months that Isreal, in spite of its touted military might and backing of the west led by the USA, has not been able to defeat a small army of poorly armed Hamas fighters and had to resort to blowing up the buildings and killing mostly civilians and innocent babies/children.
Both sides should end the war NOW. Check my signature for free stuffs! Israel that's at war is still far better than your shithole of a country. Last time I checked, Ukraine that is still engaged in a worse battle is the one feeding your country with donations of wheat while your crook of a president is busy buying latest cars and jets and stealing national petroleum assets. So why are you so fixated on Israel? Face your shithole of a country. |

Nigeria is a very rich country and such nonsense shouldn't be happening. And the matter isn't nonavailability of money, but corruption and political infighting. |

oz4real83: I watched the minister of sports' interview on political platform, channels TV and was surprised when he said it wasn't his fault for Nigeria's failure at the Olympics, that people were put to occupy various positions and duties, he forgot to tell us who appointed the mumus that didn't do their duties. If you appoint a mumu to carry out a task, when that mumu fails, the responsibility is on the appointer of the mumu . The minister as well as other Nigerians should always learn to take responsibility for their actions or inaction Then it's Tinubu that should be blamed. The man is just a big time commercial farmer that joined APC in CRS and donated to Tinubu's campaign. He knows nothing about sports administration. He even said when he was appointed that it wasn't Sports ministry that he was expecting, but that he would manage it. Why appointing a farmer to run sports administration? |
Phones › Re: My Starlink Review After Porting From Airtel Unlimited by prophetfire: 2:21pm On Aug 18, 2024 |
Pastorjohn2: Hello everyone, I made a post on my review on the airtel 5G unlimited router. Let's just say the speed nearly drove me mad, There were times I couldn't use the router unless at night time because it was just too slow. It's truly unlimited but the speed is a joke. So last month I purchased starlink and it cost me about 440k on jumia with 38k monthly subscription fee and I must say, The speed is incredible! I experience an average of 200-300mbps and even hit up to 458mbps as compared to airtels 20mbps. I can download a 75gb file in 1 hour but I used 3 days to download a 100gb file with airtel router.
The only major disadvantage is, If you don't have constant power then you have to use your gen constantly to power it and it's not portable at all. You'd have to completely unwire it to take it to another location and the data plans are very specific to your current location.
So if I go from Lagos to Abuja, I can't use it in Abuja as I'd have to resub again for Abuja location. If you can afford it, I highly recommend it! My videos almost never buffer even at the highest possible quality. I don't know the evil forest where you are located that makes your Airtel not to work fine. For me, my Airtel is working fine. Even doing better than MTN here. |

Gbadugbakun: You went out with your friend to the bar, you ordered for drinks, but before they brought the drinks, you went out to make a call. When you came back, your friend has already opened it for you and even poured it in the glass.
You asked him why he did that, he said the waiter wanted to use the opener for another customer so he said let him kuku open it for you.
You move the drink one side and order for another drink. Why you guys finished drinking, you paid for the drink he opened which you didn't drink along with the ones you drank.
When you get home you receive a WhatsApp from this supposed friend asking you what you see him as, that are you trying to say he was trying to poison you? You try to reply him but he has already blocked you on Whatsapp. You try to call him but it's showing busy meaning he has blocked your number as well.
Did I do something wrong. Why would you open a drink and pour it out for someone when he didn't ask you to do so? You did the right thing by not taking the drink. |
