Business / Nairaland E-cooperative society by proselector: 12:36am On Nov 07, 2013
Good evening...
I really took some time thinking of how to begin this thread but anywhere I begin from, I just want to be sure am communicating with you, that is, am able to pass an idea to, almost a replica of what is on my mind.

Over the years, from learning and experience, I have come to fully understand that making money is just by selling goods or services. Any business falls under that, manufacturing, entertainment, whatever. And behind every Business are 3 pillars: Idea, Capital and an Entrepreneur. Before, I used to hear that the greatest hindrance to starting a business is capital, but letter, I learnt that idea, was really the greatest problem. So since then I had alway placed Idea as a priority in my business drive. And I also discoverd that Ideas that made people were Stunning, innovative, exceptional, and most attimes new.
But after my stunning and innovative ideas, I discovered that start-up capital was still a problem. Though not the greatest problem, it is a great problem.

As entrepreneurs, ideas may not be a problem. Capital might. We know we have ways of raising capitals, like loans, savings, investors, cooperatives, etc And at times, we exhaust some of these options without being able to raise money for our business. Personally, I have been an entrepreneur for some few years and I know how difficult, it is raising funds. I have an experience where my business idea was hijacked by my investors.
************
So I came up with an idea of a cooperative. If I have 500 people who would make a one-time contribution of #2000 each. We could invest and re-invest both the capital and profit for a period of 12 to 18 months. And at the end of the period, the money is shared to the owners. And certainly, it would be possible for each person to raise #72,000 to #80,000 within that period. But as an individual, raising that amount may seem difficult.
*************
And on the businesses to invest on. With so many lucrative business opportunity, finding the right business wouldnt be a problem. The business to invest on will be agreed by the members. The business must be short or medium term like Oil and Gas deal or contract. And it would exclude:
HYIP
FOREX
FOOTBALL BETTING
STOCKS
and any other high risk business
**************
BENEFITS:

-Startup fund for your business
-Exposure to different business opportunity.
-Business connections among members
*Loans (When we have a large capital base)
-Access to business aids and advice
-Business ideas updates
** more are coming
**************
Legal Issues

Every organisation is established on a legal ground. And this is exactly what we are working toward. For a start, we would employ methods of agreement available. We take full responsibility for every fund raised and would guarantee the security of our members. And in a shortwhile we would full launch our full legal package and registration proper.
Facebook group https://www./210229832492438?refid=27
**************
I wish to make this the official thread of this cooperative.
I wish to solicit the support Seun and the mod of this section. I also want to commend them for their effort in seeing that nairaland.com is what it is today.

TribalEAST: are you aware that that post of yours is derogatory to womanhood for making it seem like all they jump at is money even when the holder is a corpse?

well, I meant no disregard to womanhood, and if my post had portrayed that, I apologize.. but it is a fact that women were created to be receptors... its just natural, so i didnt write to dispect them

TribalEAST: **another dumbphuckk who thinks money can take him to heaven**

imagine waking up beside someone with an ugly face; dont you think you would feel irritated especially when you only married him for his money?

Dummies and the unexposed keep thinking handsome guys arent rich or ok too. Ask yourself this questions:-

1. Have you ever seen an handsome guy doing agbero work?

2. When last did you see an handsome dude working with lagos state waste management trucks?

3. Have you ever seen an handsome man begging in motor parks?

4. Who are the male models?

5. Who are the hollywood/bollywood/nollywood/ghollywood romance lead actors?

6. Who is most likely to get employed first between a normal looking guy and a handsome one?

7. What picture do ladies have about their desired dream man (am not talking about hopeless and classless ladies*pardon*)?

Money runs the world of it's slaves but real women with worth, who are independent go after what they want, be it handsome or ugly, not because of money but LOVE.

GUYS get CONFIDENCE cos most ladies aren't lovepeddlars.

*team handsome*

first, i detaste people using foul words on me. its so an unpolite and uncivilized manner of approach...
my views are these:

1. what value does hansomeness add to life.. atmost it earns attention not respect. shakespares was right wen he said beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.. the same applies to being handsome
2. if being hansome was a guarantee for having a job, people woudnt bother going to school... the handsome ones would get the job and the ugly ones would go for plastic surgery to upgrade.
3. If you havent seem poor hansome dudes, i have seen them. and in the long run, poverty cahanges their look. i came across iyanya's pics wen he was still hustling, it was terrible.
4. is it all hansome dudes that make it as models. y isnt it that models make top list of richest men.
********************
am not trying to say am ugly... am handsome. and i do get compliments from my female friends. all am trying to do is to divert guys attention from handsomeness to adding value to life. the lady can waste the time on just beauty, we guys we have better things to do. u dnt need to be handsme b4 a girl chops ya money... for more explanation ask bianca... and why guys should concentrate on money and power other than hansomeness, ask obj

I met this girl just this evening and we started talking.. she's cute.. has a nice figure 8... and she is mercifully packaged... but am just surprised she didnt show any form of resistance..
wat happedned was dat i went down the street to do a little shopping so i saw dis girl at a shop along the road... i stared at her and she replied with an inviting eyes.. so as not to miss my chances, i changed mind on what I wanted to buy. I bought a bb charger, and a kind of flaunted it and came back to meet her. we talked and i tried asking why she was so open, she told me we are in a free world, that either the guy or a girl dat makes a moves.. and she said she likes me and didnt want to take chances... afta much talking, we moved to an area a bit secluded and before i could say anything she had my lips.. am still scared... can i believe she likes me dat much or should i run for my life

Business / Re: Pure Water Ban By Fg- New Ideas For Manufacturers by proselector: 8:16pm On Nov 06, 2013
kabarka: what occasioned those necessities?
Has those factors been put in place?
Pure water biz was NECESSITATED by gross dilapidation of
(1)public infrastructure and (2)increasing water borne dieases.

interestingly
(2) has been checked by pure water.
(1)need strong political will to be provided and maintained.Infrastructure like power, waterworks, piping connections round the cities.

i also think pure water was always needed to quench thirst in the public. From my own view, I think the number of people who buy it for this reason is much. and also this idea is occassioned by the proposed ban of pure water.

kabarka: Your idea is good and understandable but at what cost?
Can the common man afford it?
Remember your statement

I think the cost depends on the idea... But I think it would be around the cost of manufacturing satchet water
