Webmasters / Membership Plugin Which Allows Payment In Naira by proudlysports: 11:05am On Oct 29, 2016
Hi Guys,

I am currently designing an online tutoring site which will require subcribers to pay a toke to access some pages.
Does anyone know a free membership plugin (or affordable) which allows payment in Naira?
Education / Re: Can I Still Continue With This CGP Or Do I Give Up On Education? by proudlysports: 3:12pm On Sep 20, 2016
My advice:

1. Look ahead. Calculate the minimum GP you need to achieve per semester to make a CGPA of 3.5 at the end of course.
2. Add 0.3 to that GP and aim to get this GP per semester.
3. Work hard to achieve the GP per semester but any semester you fail to achieve that GP, re-start from (1) above.
4. For your carry over courses, sort it out ASAP.
5. Make friends with your lecturers. Or at worst, do not get into their black book.
6. Pray for favour.

All the best

Like we announced here, Vardy deal to be sealed before Euros

"When asked by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport whether the Gunners had made an offer for the 29-year-old, Ranieri replied: "It's all true."

Arsenal and Leicester are now in talks and a deal could be finalised by the end of the weekend."

Arteta is off this season. We're trying to get him to work with the U18s alongside Theirry Henry but Pep is also interested in having him at City next season. Waiting to see where he will go.

Flamini is also off.

Another key problem is the number of people we convey in the car at a time. Every car has recommended number of passengers but we typically exceed this by 'lapping' and packing ourselves into vehicles like sardines. This puts pressure on already over inflated tyres

I neva said Delle was better than Wilshere. All i stated were mere facts about the guy since Wilshere got injured.

I can also come out to say Milner has more assists than Özil in 2016. Does it mean Milner is better than Özil??

We've seen Arsenal fans come up with similarly ridiculous stats about players from rival clubs on several occasions. So i no sabi why this should be any different.

I also didn't say Wilshere's better than Alli (even though I believe he is). I only pointed out from your facts that despite all of Dele's heroics whilst Wilshere was injured, Wilshere will still make England first 11 ahead of Dele.

BTW, there's nothing wrong in posting the facts.

I'm not trolling o..just stating my thoughts: I still think a fit Wilshere will walk straight into the England set up.

On that same note, it seems Theo will not be going to the Euros. That guy needs to wake up quick. Pace alone is nothing in football. He seems to have lost his confidence and I'm not sure fans have any thread of patience for him again

We made a mess of the country after colonialism ended in the 60s.
I am not afraid of the past, but the future.
From the comments so far on this thread, all i see is mockery and condemnation. Yes, the damage has been done. Other countries have moved ahead while we are still struggling. We are struggling because we sat back and allowed our leaders to destroy what collectively belong to us.
In the 60s, nigeria had some of the best railway system by global standard, far better than the chinese. Today, the chinese have the best ratil system in the world. Recently, the chinese president visited the US and the CCECC (chine civil engineering construction company) struck a deal with the New york railway to help them upgrade their rail system to world class standard.
Who ever thought the chinese could attain this feat. It took dedication, self discipline and optimism. From the comments on this thread so far, anyone can tell that mentally and psychologically, we are still far from recovery.

Gbam!

OP well done on a well-documented journey.

Now to the crux of the matter.

Back in the 80s as a young 5-7 year old boy, my family used these same trains regularly from Lagos to Kaduna to visit my dad who was posted to that region. I can't remember how long the journey took but back then we had sleeper carriages with double decker beds and we were served potatoes/bread and fried egg every morning of our journey.

This was far back in the 80s. Now for any Nigerian government to come in 2015/2016 to boast about returning to a system that is not even as good as the system we had in the 80s is not just decietful but also wicked! I understand that the younger generation may find this exciting especially if you have not tasted what is obtainable outside Nigeria (even in Africa not to talk of Europe).

If Nigeria was a poor country, I wouldn't be complaining. What makes the situation worse is when you hear of the billions stolen by past administrations. Billions that could have given us world class standard guage rail lines.

For those who don't know, President Obasanjo (I'm not a fan by the way) signed a deal with China to give us a world class standard guage line before he left in 2008. That project would have taken 3 years (2008 - 2011). That project was cancelled by Yaradua and Goodluck only for then to return us back to the stone age. Nigeria lost $300M just for cancelling that project (google it).

For those who may say, well it's a good starting point, etc etc...I'm sorry but that is crap! Imagine if you had a very rich Father, a billionaire who unfortunately lost his life but bequeathed all he had to you his only son. Imagine if because of you young age your uncles and aunts kept the money for themselves and didn't provide you with quality living for many years. Then imagine one day they decide to buy you a TV (after leaving you without one for over 10 years) and got you a black and white cathode ray TV in these days of flat screen HD TVs yet they have these state of the art TVs in their own homes. Would you call this "a good starting point or would you consider them as thieves and wicked people?"......exactly!

The title is still in our hands knowing how bottlers Spurs are. Leicester is more interested in staying up as their fans sang during their draw with WBA. I'm more worried about Mancity that have overcome their misery.

In as much as we strive to avoid heart break, fans are meant to be optimistic. That way, the players will give their best.

I think that the reason Arsenal fans still feel they have a chance of winning the title is because of the calibre of teams above us.

Leicester and Tottenham are viewed as lesser teams that we can surpass, capable of dropping points. Had it been that Chelsea, United or City were the ones above us, it would have been goodnight blues by now.

Meanwhile, Kante is injured.
Sure we can still win. Sure Leicester and Spurs will drop points. The issue is WILL Arsenal take advantage? This is the question many fans cannot answer in the affirmative based on past experience. Fans like me prefer to take it one game at a time. You only need to have been an Arsenal fan for about 5 years to know that projecting more than one match ahead is opening yourself up to yourself unnecessary high bp.

I hear you.

The french blonde had better got his selections and motivations right against Swansea. I love the way fans and ex players attacked him and the team. They seem too relax and over confident.
That its Leicester and Tottenham above you doesn't mean the title is now yours.

To be honest, after years of watching Arsenal, one can only blame the manager. We've had change in personality (as per players) but the result is the same. Seems to me that once we are sure of top 4, we relax. See our players taking selfies after beating City as if the title was won on that day.
Anyway, mathematically it's still possible to win the league and we do have the players win it. But do we have the mentality? That's the big question. We should know after the next two games.

Leicester could drop points against West Brom and Watford, while Tottenham could also lose points at West Ham.

So that victories for Arsenal against Swansea and in the North London derby could see us move to top of the league.

O My!
Don't do this to yourself. Win or lose, those guys go home with hundreds of thousands of pounds monthly. Don't place your hopes in the hands of players who probably don't care as much as you do.

Just take it one game at a time.

Now that we are calmer, my thoughts on the game:

1. I didn't expect us to qualify so expectation was low and defeat though painful, didn't affect me much

2. I was surprised we were able to keep the game at 0 - 0 for 70 minutes. That's not a mean feat against Barca and Messi, Suarez and Neymar in particular

3. All the players did well. I kept my closely on our formation when we Barca had the ball and we were so disciplined except for those two mistakes. Kudos to the entire team.

4. If we had taken at least one of our chances last night, we should be saying something different today.

5. I blame Wenger for the state of our team to be honest. We can blame Giroud, Chamberlain, Ramsey for not taking their chances but players can only play to the best of their abilities. I personally can't believe how we have kept Giroud as our top striker for 4 years running.

Overall, I'm almost glad we are out(?) of the CL. We tend to do better in the league at this stage most likely because we have less games to play. Given the way this season has gone in the EPL, we have a realistic chance of winning it so time to focus.

Great result. Thank God for great mercies.

For one, I enjoyed how we varied our game today. Seemed the boys had instructions to pump the ball into the Leicester box cos that was exactly what we did and it paid off. We scored three goals today from crossing the ball into the box (although one was rightly offside). Mr Wenger, hope you've learnt from this. Not all the time pass, pass, pass.
I'm even happier about Giroud laying off the ball for others. He did it for Ozil against Bournemouth and against Leicester, he laid off a glorious ball for Walcott. Hope to see more of that.
I know Ramsey is desperate to score but he needs to know that if there's another player in a better position, he should pass!

Overall, good game. Bold decisions all round by the ref.

Hull City is next. Meanwhile, I noticed the requests here for Elneny has somewhat reduced. Is there a reason why?

I'm torn between going all out attack or staying cautious because I don't think a draw will be too bad. Ofcourse the ultimate goal is to win.

We beat Leicester at their own ground in probably one of the best games on he season but at the moment, Leicester seem to have he momentum given their current run. I think I'll start Campbell on the right and Giroud up front and save Walcott for second half IF the game doesn't go our way.
If we decide to play a high line, AW had better start Gabriel not Per.

Leicester is only 15 minutes drive away from me. If it wasn't Arsenal dragging the top spot with them, I'd be supporting them in this run in but as it is, gooner 4 ever
