FlyboyZee: I am not sure you are in Yenagoa. The whole of Yenezue Gene, Biogbolo and Opolo, along Melford Okilo (Mbiama-Yenagoa) road were on a lockdown yesterday. If you are in Yenagoa like you claimed, I guess you are a Surveyor attending the Surveyors National Conference currently ongoing in Yenagoa now. If you have the chance, please, take a drive right now to the area I mentioned and see for yourself first hand if that stretch of the town is not on a lock down. I mean now... The guy you quoted is a liar and he is hundred if not thousand of kilometers away from Yenagoa. This is how Biafrans lie and disgrace themselves everywhere. They love playing the ostrich. |
Politics › Re: Attack On Igbo: Govt Beefs Up Security In Bayelsa by ProWalker: 3:14pm On May 10, 2017 |
FlyboyZee: Lies! Lies!! Lies!!!
Tochukwu took his landlord's 17 years old daughter to a very lowly guest house called Waibo Guest House in the same Biogbolo area where they all live. The girl is an indigene of the same Biogbolo Community in Yenagoa Metropolis. He sedated her, cut off her breast and she gained consciousness at that point and raised alarm while he was still at it and he stabbed her to silence her and then took off before people could come to the scene. And he has been on the run since then. The indigent youths of the Biogbolo and adjoining Yenezue Gene communities were piffed and miffed by the development and became irate, insisting that the Igbo community in Yenagoa must produce the said Tochukwu. That was what warranted the attacks on the Igbos and not the lies you posted... Before quoting you, I had to go and look at your post-history to see if you are been objective and honest or not, I noticed you are more active in the car-talk section and your politics comments are far in-between. I will take your comment here as closest to the truth of the event. These Biafrans here on NL are eternal liars. |

jomonic: [s]Bigotry is one best fit word to describe the activities that you and your cohorts are well know for in Nigeria. See other words associated with bigotry (prejudice, bias, partiality, partisanship, sectarianism, discrimination, unfairness, injustice etc.). You will sense the truthfulness of what I am saying if your conscience is not completely dead. How else can we describe the activities of the Hausa and Yoruba in Nigeria if you fail to use the word bigotry[/s]. You are Ibo, so we are not surprised at your terrible mindset. By the way, Igbos constitute almost 40% of the population of Yenagoa and everybody is cool with each other here. Yoruba people have started with their mischief again. Divide and rule specialists.... Show us a photo of you in Yenogoa to prove ChannelsTv wrong. I would take the words of a reputable news outlet way above the words of a ghost like you. |

jomonic: Yes I will supply links. They are available here in Nairaland. Please note that the Igbo do not hate the Yoruba. In the Igbo world view good neighbourliness is part of our culture. Igbos do not have belligerence in their nature. All the cause that the Igbo agitate for in Nigeria are based on principles, devoid of selfishness and the values cut across ethnic frontiers. Look at what the Yoruba man stand for. It is always for their own ethnic group and that is the main problem in Nigeria. You suffer from acute bigotry. I'm done with your type. |

BabaRamota1980: Nigeria should make a law to classify yonminris as a "protected ethnic group".
They are clubbed and beaten and dragged through the mud everywhere they exist outside Iboland, whether na Bayelsa, Rivers, Lagos, Ekiti, Kaduna, Kano... No one wants them as neighbour. They need a protection statute, if Nigeria cant do it UN should do it. So that it becomes unlawful to bully, intimidate and harass them. They are clubbed and beaten and dragged through the mud everywhere they exist outside Iboland, whether na Bayelsa, Rivers, Lagos, Ekiti, Kaduna, Kano... Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Vietman, Kuala-lumpur, and virtually all those silly Asian countries. |

jomonic: At the time in reference Awo is the one who craved for a coalition with Balewa albeit secretly but in the open pretended to be with Zik. Zik went for Azikwe/Balewa coalition when he became aware of the Awo plots.
But you were talking of opposition politics for 50 years. There was nothing like that abeg. The Yoruba has been in the mainstream all the time. Don't always be in the habit of regurgitating what you were told without proper analysis. How can you be in the mainstream and in opposition at the same time? Chameleonic I would say. Can you supply a link to this your alternative fact? You colluded with the North to even carve out Midwest from the Old West just to water down the influence of Awolowo on those people, but you ensure you kept the minorities in the East intact.. Your hatred and wicked acts against the Yorubas are well documented and at the appropriate time, the issues will be resolved. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria Must Decide What It Wants From The Igbo by ProWalker: 1:36pm On May 10, 2017 |
jomonic: [s]What does it mean to say Yoruba played opposition politics for 50 years? People tend to imagine it in the same way as it is in America where opposition is built on principles and along party lines. The opposition in Nigeria is just ethnic opposition which is devoid of principles and values of humanity; otherwise what positive outcome for Nigeria resulted from Yoruba brand of opposition politics. That is the brand of opposition that sustains nepotism, federal character, corruption, all manner of vices, etc. Are we not tired of hypocrisy?
The Yoruba has had a major leverage on Nigeria for the past 50 years and has never been excluded from the scheme of things like the Igbos. In this sense the Yoruba has never been in opposition for one day in Nigeria. When people put up a post like yours they are only trying to divert attention. Does the opposition also include when Obasanjo was military head of state. Does it include also when Yoruba voted massively for their brother OBJ even though he was not in their preferred party. Do you play opposition in a party you have voted for? Its very disgusting the type of rhetoric that come from some of us. Please try and travel to understand other parts of Nigeria especially the south east[/s]. Trace the trajectory of Nigeria politics from Azikwe/Balewa coalition to 2015 and tell me if the East has not been colluding with the North at any given time. |

Olabestonic001: That's like understating it. They have victim mentality and needs to really be allowed to be on their own. I think Culturally, they NEED their own space to evolve their own style. Otherwise, you'll always have an eternally disgruntled sets of people who believed that they are superior to all other in this country. If they do well, they'll claim is down to their superior prowess; if they do bad, it'll be down to Nigeria holding them down. Such people are grossly irresponsible and needs to truly measure their prowess. Maybe they'll get it right like Singapore or be worst off like South Sudan. At least, we NEED to let them try out their unique strengths and weaknesses so that we can truly see if they're blackmailing us or if they are right. Absolutely on point |
