Nigeria has finally unveiled its first self-made cars made by Innoson Vehicles Company (IVC). This is not the first time IVC would be unveiling vehicles as the company is not new in the business since they have already unveiled an SUV earlier in the year which was graced by the Excellency President Goodluck Jonathan.
This time around it is the minister of trade and investment, Dr. Olusegun Aganga, who was at the venue located in Nnewi, Anambra State, to congratulate Innoson Vehicles Company (IVC) for producing the first Nigeria-made vehicles, saying such an investment is necessary to expand the country’s production and manufacturing frontiers.

The big question is Oparh Winfrey alive? Well before we get in to that lets quickly give a short biography of who Oprah is and what she represents for the benefit of those who do not know her or have been leaving under the rock for the past 2 decades or so…
Winfrey was born into poverty in rural Mississippi to a teenage single mother and later raised in an inner-city Milwaukee neighborhood. Born January 29, 1954, she is an American media proprietor, talk show host, actress, producer, and philanthropist. Winfrey is best known for her multi-award-winning talk show The Oprah Winfrey Show which was the highest-rated program of its kind in history and was nationally syndicated from 1986 to 2011. She is undoubtedly the "Queen of All Media", and the richest African-American of the 20th century.
Now let us go straight in to it. The answer to the question asked earlier above is one that will shock you to know that a lot of Oprah’s fans in Nigeria will believe especially because of how she grow from nothing to something, to in fact becoming the richest African woman on earth because we here in Nigeria have this mentality that people who grow in wealth this fast must be using some sort of diabolic means to acquire it so it is not farfetched to quickly associate Oprah Winfrey with the occult especially since she (Oprah Winfrey) is that old and yet without a child. To some people in West Africa the belief is that she must have sold it for her wealth or something that is why the rumor of her being diagnosed with cancer is spreading like wild fire in the media. According to the reports the famous and wealthy talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, has just 12 more weeks left here on earth. Well since this outrageous report came out last week then she probably has 11 more weeks to live… if you believe that anyway.
When we got this information we were tempted to get to the fact of this gist and it became clear that all the major players of reporting breaking news like CNN, BBC online etc were not talking about it, though some West African Bloggers and forums jumped at the story to copy paste as usually without confirming the source. This is the reason we decided to post about this firstly to clear the air and secondly since we were looking for the truth online and saw known it will be wise as a blogger to tap in to this massive traffic of people like us searching for the truth. Wise right? Lol

Our Google search shows that the sensational news is the figment of the imagination of NAHA (Negros Against Hairline Abuse), African bloggers and social media commentators.
Our guess is that this fake story of Oprah Winfrey dying in 12 weeks originated from Chicago based NAHA, being the only foreign media that carried the story. To show how mischievous and desperate NAHA was to send its fake story across to as many world audience as possible and to make it look credible, it created and used a Fake TMZ Breaking News twitter handle to tweet its story link. Why “negros” should do this to a fellow “negro” is what beats me.
So there you have it fox Oprah is not dying she is strong and alive….

Information reaching Top Trend Naija this morning has it that a man is lying dead at Ilasamaja Ballet Bustop, Close to Cele Ijesha, Lagos. The man was found with foams coming out of his mouth and a bag filled with soft substance wedged under his head as he lay dead beside his car this morning.
As at the time of the post no one knows his identity of the man or what happened to him but from the looks of things and eyewitness reports it looks like he was assassinated. Or maybe he was poisoned, only the right authorities and autopsy can determine what really happened here…

According to Benjamin Njoku's write up on today's Vanguard Oma Nnadi has confessed that she hardly finds time to attend to her personal needs again following her tight schedules in recent times.
Vanguard reports that the Nkwere, Imo State-born actress who’s currently making headlines in the national dailies, made this confession, while in a chat with HVP.
She has evolved from being an unknown actress to one of today’s busiest actresses, taking after likes of Mercy Johnson and Chika Ike. No month passes without Oma interpreting at least three movie roles.
Those in the know say notable producers now queue up to have her feature in their movies. Interestingly, in the past two months, Oma has been busy, jumping from one movie location to another.

Just last week, she returned to Lagos from Port-Harcourt where she was on the set of Uche Nacy’s production, alongside Ebube Nwagbo among others. She’s currently in Asaba, shooting an epic movie, and she’s expected to storm Enugu this weekend for another production.

Later this month, the soft-spoken actress will be traveling back to the United States, where she hopes to spend few weeks before returning to the trenches again. Upon her return, Oma will join the set of Chinwe Isaac’s production as well as Uche Nacy’s. According to her, she would be busy from now till the end of the year. “I don’t even have time for myself again. I feel like I am stressed up.
But this is what I love doing and I have to be happy doing what I know how to do best,” she said. Among Oma’s latest works are: Daughter of a Gambler, Girls on fire and Daughters on fire, Sisters Battle, Village babes and high Babes, Troubled King and Kings Help, Devil in disguise and Devil in Me, among others. Nollywood star Oma Nnadi has since shot over 50 flicks and still counting…And finally back in 2011, after a degree in Theatre Arts at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State and a professional certificate in Film making at the prestigious New York Film Academy, Oma, who played Festac in Seasons 6 and 7 of MNETs Tinsel is silently swimming in affluence According to the exclusive interview with Encomium weekly’s Associate Editor, Uche Olehi.

Oma would rather let her works speak of her. But in this exclusive interview with Encomium weekly’s Associate Editor, Uche Olehi, the Nkwerre, Imo state born thespian opened up on her career, love life, among others.
You have been acting about 10 years or so, what has been the hightlights of your career?
Its not 10 years per se. I have been on and off because of school. I finally came back fully to the industry in 2011, though my first movie was Egg of life, an OJ productions featuring Nkiru Sylvanus, Georgina Onuoha, among other Nollywood Stars. I was one of the seven virgins in the very popular movie.

What did you study?

I read Theatre Arts at the University of Port Harcourt. I also served in Onne, Rivers State. I later left for the New York Film Academy in America. I came in 2011. And that was when I started acting fully. I think my break came in 2012. That was the wisdom of Thomas, a Collins Productions. I played an old woman in the flick. Even when the director, Tchidi Chikere saw me, he objected to me taking the role, arguing I wouldn’t fit in to it. They wanted Patience Ozokwor or another older actress. But the marketer insisted I should be given a chance. They were like, she said she went to film school. By the time I was in to the character, the director confessed he did not need to bother about me anymore, given my near perfect character interpretation as Osuofias sister. And when the movie came out, it was well appreciated.

Can you please tell us some other movies you shot so far?
 
I have shot a lot of movies. In fact, it’s over 50. But you know we usually shoot with working titles which even come in parts with sometimes entirely different titles. The ones I can remember are Girls on Fire, Sisters Battles; Village Babes and high Babes, Break the Rules, Get the money and Spend the Money; ELEPHANT Love and Mr and Mrs. Big, all of these I played lead roles. I also played major roles in Wisdom of Thomas; Dumebi in school and Dumebi Bitterleaf Cynthia; Troubled King and King’s Help, Devil in Disguise and Devil in me; Nowadays and delicate world, glamour Babes and School Runs, St Ossai, nOso Ossai and diamond Ossai. There are also  Chocolate Pinging. Salon, Girls of Honor, Illuminati Kindom, Illuminati Cult, Tears of Illuminati, Mother’s Betrayal, Freedom to bondage, Voice of a mother, Child in me, Gift of Pain, Best of Enimies and Worst of Friends, Crippled and prisoner of love, Udaraugo and Obinwa and Obganje, among many others.

Which has been the most challenging of all the movies so far?

Playing a crippled in one of Uche Nancy’s production, Devil in Disguise and Devil in me, It was very emotional. I wasn’t crippled in the beginning. I had an accident in the middle of the movie. I had to transform myself to the character.

Which has been the most financially rewarding?

That should be the Ossai series. It has Saint , Oso Ossai and Diamond ossai. You would never get tired of it....
