There is a quiet and consolidated attacks on Igbo businesses in the South West. Apart from the normalized snide and lack of patronage, there is a conjoined effort to reduce, supplant and put a lid on the income and returns of their business and when that fails outrightly burglary under the vet and auspices of the entire community.
And Quite irritating, because one will wonder how and why a community will gather to attack a person business and join collectively in sharing the loot . Especially at night when the person has gone back to his house.
I witnessed this first hand in Plateau state. But I didn't think that they will bring that here to Lagos in the busy and popular market like Ilepo.

How can a person selling market in the Middle of the road, have only her shop burgled among others and told the next day that no one saw or heard anything. Breaking the padlocks, and carting all the person goods without the guard seeing or hearing anything..

It ain't hard to see since Rumour has it that these Yoruba are bitter about the progress the Igbos made and are making. Coupled with the current economic hardship it further worsens the idolatry and folly. I have constantly warned about faaji FM late night programs that fuel hate and bitterness among yorubas,that it took just a radio station to launch the Rwanda genocide but no one is looking into this .

The Yorubas feel that while they sat down and watched the same people they marginalized with 20 pounds in their account in the 70s have turned to buy their lands and become rich before their very eyes.

So they have decided to become insular, patronizing only their people. Attacking igbo businesses with fetishism and contrived disarray and displacement by landlord as they are still doing in Taiwo Road Ilorin .

Creating Big Hegemony like Femtech and other business oligarchy that are springing up because if their small minded and parochial thinking.
As far as the Awalokan goes..Pls stop planning and joining hands with community heads and security guard to rob abd burgle Igbo shops just to put them in a caste system.

There is already a mafia that goes from shop to shop to ask for protection money, I have seen them twice, but I am yet to record them.

For the Igbos don't put too much stock in your shops. Keep them at home so that when these bittered people attack your shops the loss will be minimal.
We are at war.
