In all honesty if jonathan didn't make dat call nothing would have happened in the country cuz the only way something cld happen is by him inciting Nigerians. But it will only start and ends in SS and SE only.. Who wants to die for a politician?? For me its a cheer stupidity to die for a politician who can't give u 24hrs power supply, gud medical facilities, gud road, creativity and innovations and host of others..

GEJ peace award shd be given to him iin prison for encouraging impunity and running a bad govt..
Thank You..
Some nairalanders are so dumb and blind to understand that his not conceding defeat wouldn't bring about any bloodbath, and even if it causes it can be in the whole Nigeria. U think say nigerians get liver to fight war ni

the problem is that we always wait for the government for everything. private individuals and rich dudes can sponsor some intelligent dudes.
remember the guy who constructed an helicopter in Nigeria some years back, are you hearing his name anymore.
we have guys here that constructed some mini engineering projects but they don't get the monetary push from private investors. u remember how the Google and yahoo guys started.

Buhari is a muslim, so he does things according to the quran. Jonathan is a christian and he does things the as bible instructs.
its like salah and xmas. Everyone knows wia he belongs.
its like a christian condemning a muslim for celebrating salah or a muslim condemning a christian for celebrating xmas.
the No1 position in nigeria now is not about how well a candidate can perform ,but based on region and religion.
Am neither condemning nor supporting buhari. + am a christian.

HealthRe: A Nairalander Near Ebola Experience. by psp2pc(op): 5:50pm On Sep 24, 2014
Gboliwe: Mine happened on the 10th of september. I must tell you that the fear alone of the stigmatisation can make an infected patient run from isolation.

The day before, that's the 9th was a tuesday. I went with my colleagues to the teaching hospital for quality assurance monitoring. We are well known in that section of the hospital so we don't observe protocol. We can enter any ward and office/consulting room and that was what I was doing. I was being very careful though to not touch anything. I didn't see/hear of any ebola patient oooo. Later that evening, I had a small outdoor party to attend and I was outdoors till like 10pm. When I got home and took my bath, I noticed some rashes on the back of my hand. Tiny rashes scattered and itching me.
I manged to sleep that night but woke up later to start scratching. By the time I went to work the next day which was 10th, the rashes had extended to my arms. I showed my colleagues who said it was mosquito that I wasn't used to such late outdoor parties. I agreed. On the 11th the rashes became more severe and one of them said it could be Ebola. She said it jokingly but I became afraid!
I started reading up about Ebola. I didn't have any other symptoms. But on friday, I went to bed and woke up around 2am with serious discomfort. I vomited 2ce before. I went to work. I was alarmed already.
I cancelled my itinerary for the day and decided to stay indoors. On a second thought, I called up a doctor friend and he promised to come around, I told him what my fears were and he was like, "better go to the teaching hospital" , he never came! By now I was alarmed and that must have increased my temperature. I called a matron from the teaching hospital and she confirmed there was no case of Ebola in the hospital, I think that was when I calmed down. By saturday, I used robb on the rashes, and the itch subsided. By sunday, the rashes were all dead, by monday/tuesday I had my beautiful toned skin back!
Till today, I still don't know the source of the rashes and I didn't take any medication for it. I guess it was mosquito bite all along grin
your own symptoms were more ebolaic in nature than mine. the feelings of having the symptoms sef can make one go insane. thank God for u o.
plus no friends when it comes to ebola matter o.

HealthA Nairalander Near Ebola Experience. by psp2pc(op): 4:33pm On Sep 24, 2014
I was in a bank some days ago and they pointed that infra red temperature gun at me to test my temperature and the thing started beeping..meaning my temperature was very high,exactly 38.1°c, whereas averagely it should have been reading 36+°c. Internal heat and Panic immediately took over me, the people in queue behind me started shifting back including my pal that we went to the bank together (friend indeed for that matter) ;
from my past research i know symptoms of Ebola is a temp of 38.5+°c.
I then told the security man to clean the temperature gun well and retest me..lo and behold it read 36.5°c.
I told him to retry it again, and same 36.5°c.
I just began to imagine how it is like to test positive for Ebola. the panic that follows, the straight away stigmatisation and all.
I won't lie,I almost fainted that day, but thanks to God, your faithfully is here, alive, well, kicking good, no fever or sickness whatsoever. Praise the Lord.
So has any nairalander experienced anything like this?
