Boko Haram came with Superior Fire Power.

When I first saw the story reported on Reuters, I was shocked to my bones.

I kept imagining what sort of Fire power would have over ran the power of the soldiers stationed at the Metele camp.

Whatever Fire Power that over came those soldiers sure wasnt childs play as it would have been well planned befor execution.

From stories that started to spring up, we heard there had been a warning letter Boko Haram had circulated they were coming to attack Military bases along the lake chad region.

Is like ISIS West Africa is bent on capturing more grounds even as Nigerian soldiers leads the offensive against them on Nigerian territorial space.

Soldiers that survived the onslaught had gory stories of the attack to narrate.

First the issue of being under equipped. Soldiers complained of being attacked with Superior Arms and Armunition to the extent the insurgents took them out in no time.

Secondly, it should have been suggested that certain radius around such camps should have been surveillance, but this apparently seemed not be the case.

Varying figures of soldier casualty had been bandied around since the attack but going by Figures from Reuters, 44 soldiers were reportedly killed and their body layed lifeless in the pool of their own blood. Horrific if you ask.

Then there was the issue of a team going on rescue and to evacuate bodies of our slain soldiers. This rescue troop were reported to still have faced stiff resistance from the insurgents forcing them to abort the rescue observation.

It was also reported a certain Leiutenant Colonel was amongst the soldiers slain and the wife to this said officer had not been able to put it together.

It was reported that Col. Sakaba's wife took to her instagram page asking the Nigerian Army to give her information as to her husbands where about.

Whatever power out ran that military base sure wasnt a small fire power.

Nigerian security architecture should be more proactive in terms of sharing and gathering of intelligence.

The Nigerian government should also look into welfare of the Soldiers In the fore front fighting insurgents in the troubled North East.

Also, It would do the country well to equip the Military with modern day equipment to prosecute this war once and for all and not subject the Army to ridicle fighting with out dated Guns and have the enemy with much more sophisticated equipment.

To the Soldiers that lost their lives serving this country.

To our Fallen Heros.

To those Soldiers that Died for Love of Country.

To the soldiers that paid the ultimate price defending Nigeria territorial Space.

Data centre worst hit according to reports.

Monday 19th November 2018, Nigerians woke up to a rather absurd News of fire engolfing the office of Nigeria's anti-graft agency the Economic and Financial crimes Commission EFCC.

As events unfolded further details hit the media suggesting EFCC office in the Wuse 2 area of Abuja had the Data centre worst hit in the fire that ensued.

Immediate amd remote causes of the fire were unknown even tho it was reported as at Press times that the Federal Fire Service had responded swiftly as at when due.

Nobody knows what extent of damage had been incured to the office at the moment and no information as to the sensitivity of the materials that got burnt in the inferno.

However! Trust Nigerians and especially on Social Media.

They believe the fire wouldnt have been an accident if not intentional as some of the online comments followed reads Below.

In his Response, One certain "MrFindX" responded rather sarcastically on Nairaland as saying

"PDP are to Blame".

Another Nairalander "Nature8" Had this response.

"APC will soon lie about PDP being responsible for the fire".

When I been dey FGCKaduna, I chop total of 492 Slaps.

Before una talk say na lie I dey lie. Let me break it down.

Welcome to JSS 1 I chop 68 Slaps. Small innocent boy fresh to school and just in JSS1 My House Captain Senior Mathias had told some of his class mates in SS3 that One Mr. Ekpako's brother just entered JSS1.

By the way, Mr Ekpako was my Uncle and was an Economics Teacher and also the Dinning Hall Master at the Time.

some Seniors would just see me and be like.. oooo, Are you the one they say Mr Ekpako is your Uncle, and I would be like Yes im the one.

2 Slaps immediately..

DDK came to our Hostel one night when i was in JSS 1 and lied that he gave somebody his Jeans to wash but cant remember the person and so all of us must contribute to pay for the jeans.

I was plotting to eascape the "A Boy d Last" calling. I had escaped successfully ooo. Only for my aluminiun plate to fall down and made the clinging sound.

DDK: who be that.... I just submitted myself. 4 slaps that can reset your brain to manufacturers settings was my portion that night.

Those were the heaviest slaps I every reveived all my life as a young JSS1 pupil. I saw Stars in the sky in the Afternoon. and it was not night time when stars usually came up.

Next was Senior Bosky, Senior Lucifer, Senior Black-Jesus and Senior Tear-Gas and Senior Scroboje.

They caught me smuggling Beans from the Dinning hall. Ordinary beans that everybody looked down on.

when these group of seniors saw me, they acusted me and asked what they should do to me.

Bosky said I should go and wash toilet 1 to 5. scroboje collected the beans and ate it. Lucifer and Black-Jesus sent me to Brazana to buy them #100 naira food but they gave me only # 20 and asked me to come back with #50 Change.

senior Shabem was passing by and asked for my offence. They told him.

walahi it was 4 slaps. Slaps with Thunder and lightening.

Then I entered JSS 2 I was getting smarter and sharper. I started learning new tricks.

I strated learning how to hide in the ceiling. Started learning how to live jungle life.

by the way. Jungle life is having all your belongings from plate, spoon, Cup, soap and spong, toothbrush and tootpaste, school uniform and house wear. All your essentials in your bag and get it mobile with you. So anywhere wey night reach u, na dia u sleep.

u can move from class to dinning hall without visiting hostel so as to avoid un-necessary slap u didnt plan for.

One Day. Me and Augustine Kwanashie were in the Dinning Hall and DDK brought his book and droped on the table and in his words..

" You, Bring my books to my Class for me".

I told Augustine my name was not "You". Augustines sef at dat time don dey grow small small liver. Himself tell me say his name was not "You".

so I left the books on the table hoping Augustine would chicken out and pick the book. Walahi Augustine didnt carry the book.

so, the book remained there. In the Night my mates started telling me DDK was looking for me and Augustine.

If DDK is looking for u, you are as good as dead.

I ran to staff quaters hoping he would catch only Augustine and chi-uban-sa..

because I loved food so much I couldnt afford to miss dinning hall.

one day after food, I just Heard "All JSS 2 boys MUST wait Behind".

I saw Senior Chudi labour prefect, I saw Senior Barnabas. Barnabas hand is as wide as 2 peoples hand, if he slaps u, the slap would not land only on your cheek, it must cover your Nose, your eyes and almost blind your 2nd eye sef. It was dat Bad.

Aliyu kwado just came and said that is the Boy DDK is looking for. Senior Aliyu Kwado Never liked me for one day.

he submitted me to DDK. Jesus Christ. That was the most misrable day of my life. I didnt want to continue in that devilish school again, I wanted to drop out of school to go and learn Mechanic.

next thing ooo. Me and my friends in JSS 3 we were about 8 in number. it was getting to end of term so we were a little free. We were going from Hostel to Class and we didnt tuck-in our shirt.

Senior-Best saw us and called 8 of us. Asked us to make a line and start to slap ourselves one by one.

so it means you will slap 7 people and 7 people would slap you 7 times. 49 slaps in total per person and God bless you, you dont slap well.

immediately Isa Majam Slapped Kelechi Eberendu, the poor boy just started to cry, so my turn to slap him, I didnt slap him well,

my brother, that was when I knew America and Iraq war was childs play.

Towais.. that landed on my face, I was dazzed and confused and pissed in my trouser that day. I landed In the dispesary for typhoid and Malaria at the same time. 2 weeks after that slap I was always massaging my cheek.

SS1 I was sleeping in Nite Prep. One senior was passing by, he asked me, are u supposed to be reading or sleeping. I said I was tired and please he should forgive me.

he said he wanted the sleep to clear off my eyes so I should frog-jump. I tot that was all oo.

I frog-jumped where the remaining people with my kind of offence were.

what was our offence, obeying call of Nature. We were sleeping at around 10pm nigerian time. Abeg is dat too bad to be sleeping by 10pm.

in all, from my JSS1 to SS 2, I chop like 834 slaps.

when I reach SS 3 as tradition na.. me sef slap people children close to 430 slaps.

Minus 430 slap wey me sef slap people from the 834 slaps wey I chop.

that was how I arrived at the total slaps I choped in Federal Government College, Malali Kaduna.

I look back today, im more than proud of those moments.

Privatisation is the way to go. The UK risked it years ago but today, they remain grateful to those who initiated the idea. I remember the nitel days. How we used to queue at nitel to make calls at their telephone booths. Their landline at that time was for the rich. I'd go tap ours to reach my friends because it was always under lock and key. But today, an ordinary man in the street can reach the world at the tip of his finger. I had a course mate that time whose dad was a nitel engineer. On her wedding day, the man presented a brand new toyota jeep as a gift to her. This was just a low cadre engineer. The level of corruption at nitel was mind-boggling. Naturally, Nigerian workers in public places have imbibed the spirit of recklessness. Not only privatizing nitel had enriched the government the more, it has always brought about productivity, employment and efficiency to the system. I can imagine how Nigeria would become if our morribond airport could be privatized. What of our roads nationwide, our sea ports , electricity ,etc? Nigeria would be better for it. Jobs would also be created. Many cried out when obasanjo was privatizing nitel, they said the service would be expensive but nowadays, a farmer in the most remote part of the country can reach his customers. Market women do selfies and amazingly, airtime is ridiculously affordable. Privatisation is the way to go. If it's truly atiku's agenda, I'm in total support of it and I'd vote atiku for this reason. Nigeria must move forward. I learnt abacha loot is being shared amongst market men and women and termed trader moni. What a backward thinking government! When such money could have been used to generate employment amongst our teeming youths. We're the largest importer of rice after China in 2017. We have arable land to grow rice. Why not grant loan to youths out of the abacha loot and encourage them to grow rice and introduce better yields to them? they say they give matket people and artisans 10k each as loan from abacha loot as a form of investment who doesn't know that money would be spent on foodstuffs? . Only mumu and gullible minds would vote APC next year with their non-performing economic policy that has placed us on the first list on world poverty index.

Advanvement in technology is different from privatisation. Obasanjo did not move the world from Analog to Digital.

the Nitel case is sweet in your mouth because MTN and private telcomes company invested in telecommunications. Obsanjo didnt bring telecommunication. Advancement brought better telecommunication.

I read an article on how article is about to present his Policy statement to the press in just a few days from now.

It had at the end this picture.

I think its high time for me to say this. I read this article with a lot of amusment and some new realities dawned on me.

However, when I got to the Tail end of the article, it showed that picture of Atiku in it with Endorsment from the Economist magazine.

Reading meaning to say such things about Privatisation.

let me tell you something I believe about Privatisation. Privatisation is a rogue scheme designed to take our collective heritage as a Nation and Hand it over to a select few as their private property.

Privatisation is taking from the poor to enrich the rich still at the expense of the poor. Privatisation is double joperdy to the citizenery.

Privatisation is saying Government infrastructures built with tax payers money cant work in governments hand but can work in hands of private companies.

So why should Government not be able to work and Private companies are able?.

Some people would argue government doesnt have any business in Business but to producr enabling environment. Was Atiku able to produce enabling environment during his 8 years Vp with Obasanjo?

What is Enabling enbironment? Electricity, Roads and Water. Just basic. But Electricity has never been able to climb all the years.

It is under this Buhari's Administration that Babatunde Fashola raised Nigerian's total poor power from less than 2500megawatts to a record of 7,000 even tho it flunctuates somewhere around 4,000 to 4,500 atimes and even tho atimes power still totally shut down.

There is commitment to Power.

Buhari has started the Mambilla Power abandoned even when Atiku was VP 8 years.

What more do you people want Buhari to do for you?

Buhari has started Rail agressively.

First time I entered train in my life in Nigeria is under this administration.

Rotimi Amechi works day and night tooth and nail to make sure railway is working. I took a train ride from Abuja to Kaduna and I was Amazed.

Government is about Administration. Government is about Managment. Government is about Dicipline, Drive and Willpower.

These are all the characteristics Muhammadu Buhari posses if only Nigerians would be patient and see beyond their immediate to take a leap into the future.

Reforms are hard but they are necessary. People should be thankful to God for Buhari.

Buhari is a Mam that has shown commitment and Willpower that things can work.

People musr beware of All these politicians that would come with greek gifts.

We have been thru all these before. They shouldnt take us back.

Atiku must choose between running his Business or being in Government.

Atiku can not be running his Businesses and still be in government.

He will take undue advantage. It means the knife and the yam would be in his hands.

Atiku can not be a Business man and a Politician at the same time. It is the most scariest form of rape against the Economy.

Dangote is Dangote.

Saraki is Saraki.

Dangote is A business man and I respect him cos he faces soly his Business.

Saraki is a Politician and I respect him because he is a Career Politician.

Atiku can not be a Dangotelike Business man and a Saraki form Ploitician and and be president of Nigerian at the same time.

If Dangote comes out for Presidency tomorow. Everybody will vote him cos we all know his anticidents and pedigree and his Business acumen. That is Because Dangote is a Businessman.

Atiku Starts Campaign on Monday, to Launch Policy Document

Meanwhile, Atiku is billed to start his campaign on Monday in Abuja with the launch of his policy document, which would entail how he intends to direct the country if he gets into the saddle of leadership next year.

Multiple sources close to the campaign told THISDAY last night that the presidential candidate is rounding off his composition of the campaign machine, which would be a mix of the organisation that delivered him at the primary, the party and former aspirants’ structures.

Atiku was said to have addressed members of his Campaign Organisation last Monday and briefed them on the shape of the emerging structure, telling them that they would be collapsed into a more inclusive electioneering machine that would be used to power him into the presidency.

The party leadership, THISDAY gathered, would meet today to continue the harmonisation of the lists of people being proposed to man the directorates of the campaign.

The PDP presidential candidate had last month announced his ally but also a challenger at the primary, Senate President Bukola Saraki, as the director-general of the presidential campaign.

It also named the zonal directors. However, THISDAY learnt the comprehensive campaign council might be announced on Saturday

A reliable source told THISDAY yesterday that while the final decision has not been taken, the presidential campaign programmes and activities would be unveiled on Monday.

The source said, “The presidential campaign will start in Abuja on Monday, and the comprehensive campaign council will be announced on Saturday.”

The source said, “He will unveil his policy document in Abuja which entails how he will run the country if elected president.”

However, speaking with THISDAY yesterday, the spokesperson of Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCO), Mr. Segun Sowunmi, said the PDP as a political party has demonstrated over the years that it is a big party, adding that since the coming on board of the National Chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus, the party has gone a step further to show how transparent the party has become.

He added that processes of the party and the drivers of the processes are very clear, stressing that the campaign structure for the presidential campaign would not be any different.

He said, “Like you are aware, his excellency has returned a couple of days ago and in a few days I believe, any moment from now, the comprehensive campaign council will be unveiled, which to the best of my knowledge, will be under the leadership of Senate President, Bukola Saraki. All the other members of those committees will be unveiled in due course.

“As for when our campaign will start, I can assure you that we will be starting immediately the whistle is blown for our programmes and activities are well brochure and we will put into be unveiling them one after the other.

“From the way I perceive it, which is not final or authorised or approved, I believe that the first thing that we deserve to do is to bring to the table a comprehensive policy unveiling. And before this unveiling, we would have easily commenced our activities, where we will go, when we will go and the areas we will go will be unveiled.”

Sowunmi said the PDP was ready to hit the campaign trail.

He stated, “We have always been ready, Nigerians are ready, Nigerians are also ready, Atiku is ready, he has always been ready, members of the campaign team, members of the campaigns team are ready, the APCO is ready, they have always been ready, our support groups are ready, they have always been ready, our party faithful across the nation are also ready and I believe that the media and the international community are also ready.”

I read this article with a lot of amusment and some new realities dawning on me.

However, when I got to the Tail end of the article, it showed that picture of Atiku in it with Endorsment from the Economist magazine.

Reading meaning to say such things about Privatisation.

let me tell you something I believe about Privatisation. Privatisation is a rogue scheme designed to take our collective heritage as a Nation and Hand it over to a select few as their private property.


Privatisation is taking from the poor to enrich the rich still at the expense of the poor. Privatisation is double joperdy to the citizenery.

Privatisation is saying Government infrastructures built with tax payers money cant work in governments hand but can work in hands of private companies.


So why should Government not be able to work and Private companies are able?.

why cant Government work?

its either Government is just gross irresponsible and just wont and cant work.


lets stop facing the symptoms. Lets address the main challenge.

Why shouldnt Government be able to work? Gross irresponsibility.

why is Government irresponsible? Terible leaders.

Who are the people buying government properties? Terrible leaders.

who are the overall victims? Me and you.

so it mean me and you must begin to make government work from our choice of leadership.


Buhari is somebody that is Hell Bent on making things work.

By the way, Who is Economist magazine, Where are they from and what is their pedigree?

Economist magazine can not rank with the likes of Bloomberg, or Newyork Times or African Press or other Serious Editorials.

they should check the economy behind handing over government to few people as compared to government to be disciplined and run properly and efficiently and even competitively.

There is no reason why Government shoukd not work.

Government is about Administration.
Government is about Managment.
Government is about Dicipline, Drive and Willpower.

These are all the characteristics Muhammadu Buhari posses if only Nigerians would be patient and see beyond their immediate to take a leap into the future.

Reforms are hard but they are necessary.

Reports reaching our Celebrity News desk has suggested that the super star celebrity blogger Linda Ikeji has refused to breast feed her new born baby.

Fans and followers of the Blogger had been agog with all sort of stories surrounding her mysterious husband to her near immaculate conception and the shruded secrecy that surounded her Pregnancy to delivery.

Recall that Madam kemi Olunloye had alleged that Linda was never truly pregnant but only wore a prostetic pregnancy that could have been purchased in the market for around $400.

At the time she was believed to have delivered of her baby, madam kemi also insinuated that it was all a fassag alleging that Linda was never truly in any Hospital in the United states of America but was all doctored to make her fans believe otherwise.

Latest report now is that an employee of linda Ikeji's organization who pleaded for anonymity revelead that

"Madam comes to work, but we dont see her with any baby".

Quizzed further, she asked not to be named and revealed

"Someone we dont see with a baby, how then can I answer the question if she breast feeds".

Another employee shipishly said.

"Rumors be say, Madam no wan breast feed her new pikin, make her breast for no fall"..

One cleaner named Suzan in her organisation was quoted to have divulged to our reporter such details.

Some fans were worried and even asked she atleast post a picture of her new baby.
