Also, this always bugged me too: wouldn't Job still be sad about the loss of his first children? Losing children is not exactly like losing a car. You can't just get a new one and everything's good. I mean, if I had a son or daughter who got killed, and then Yahweh said, "Hey, it's okay, here's a new one - all fixed!" it wouldn't make my loss of the first one any less, no matter how much I loved the new one.

all in all, I think using Job as example to buttress your point is a terrible terrible idea cuz his afflictions were coming from Yahweh himself

we have up to 7 instrumentalist, some of them are even richer than the pastor, bt because of thier zeal for the work of God u still see them playing for the church..

another set of people are workers bt nt too rich, the church does nt pay them because they have thier owb work, bt when ever they have any serious issue like house rent or tragedy, thier group always contribute money for them..

the last group of instrumentalist, these people newly came to the city, i.e students or job applicants, the church pay them from 20k-40k
so can u see now that they don't have any reason nt to give offering？

i learnt lots of lesson bt i will only contribute where the bible said that the devil departed for a season..

now what does it mean to depart for a season？ in the olding days when u go into a battle and u then discover that the battle is too difficult 4u to win, u have to go back and do another plan..

so that was what happened, when the devil could nt make christ to sin, he did nt give up, bt instead he departed for only a season..

the same things are happening to us every day, if the devil tempts u today and u happen to overcome him, that does nt mean that he cannot come back to test u again..

so many christians who were able to overcome the devil in some areas of thier lives b4 are nt able to overcome him anymore..

as a good christian, u have to always depend on the holy spirit at all times if u must overcome the devil..
