Last sat night robbers invaded Odoro Ikpe in Ini LGA of Akwa Ibom State just a pole away from the Security Village where Soldiers guarding expatriates, the DPO and SSS live. People called the Soldiers who of course could not sleep or may have been awake due to the gunshots that rent that air but the soldier was very emphatic that it is the Police duty not theirs. They called the DPO directly for 4 consecutive times but he refused picking calls.

People ran to the police station being a 5 minutes walk only to see 2 old men on duty. Without any explanation it was understood that the men themselves were helpless and can't do anything about it.

The robbers on their way back still give a shout out to the police by releasing a bullet to inform them that they've leave.
