Fran Garcia was very good at Rayo. I remember the goal he scored against us last 2 seasons. Always busy and hardworking in the Rayo setup. But he hasn't hit it up since he joined you guys. He definitely hasn't managed to dislodge Mendy as a starter. Maybe Ancelotti doesn't trust him enough. But I like him. He reminds me of Jordi Alba

But I think you guyz deride him because he's probably not a Galactico. Nothing fancy about him. Keeps a low profile and goes about his business quietly but I like the steady performance he tends to bring especially on the big occasions. This is why Ancelotti likes him.

Of course, I won't take him ahead of Alejandro Balde, just because we already have Kounde as RB, who's a more defensive minded fullback. Ideally, you'd want a more attacking fullback on the other side. I think Balde can offer you more going forward.

Well, I don't like their profiles together. I feel they don't complement each other very well. In my opinion, Valverde can do all the work both Camavinga and Tchouameni are doing.

I'm not saying Camavinga and Tchouameni are not good. They're world class players in their own rights. But I think your midfield of last season are much better balanced than these four.

Who's the deep lying playmaker? I think that's why your team struggled to get an accurate, well timed pass to Mbappe. Passes that someone like Kross would effortlessly make.

And with due respect to Bellingham, maybe he's suffering from 2nd season slump but I don't see exactly what he offers as the attacking midfielder. He runs around alot and makes tackles and he looks busy but what else? He looks better off as the false 9.

I thought Mendy is more assured defensively. I actually like his profile especially when you have a more attacking RB. He can offer you more security when your other players bomb forward.

Maybe he struggled a bit against Lamine and needed Camavinga to help him out alot of times.

But I don't think he's a problem in your line up.

I don't know exactly what Camavinga, Tchouameni and Valverde offer differently. I will use one of them as my DM and get a central midfielder/controller/deep lying playmaker like Kroos and then a creative midfielder to complete them.

Against us, you guyz lacked a creative and controlling presence. Maybe that's not your style but I would go for more variety than just good tacklers/disruptors/ball winners.

Ancelotti is never renowned for his tactical nuances. A better man manager, you'd imagine. Better skilled at building the right environment for players to express themselves.

It's obviously worked for him. Multiple UCLs and championships across major European leagues.

Law of diminishing returns? I don't think so. I won't rule him out yet. Maybe he would have preferred a different set of players with a more diverse profile especially after Kroos retired.

I feel your midfield have players with similar profiles. Even the attack.

But I'm sure he'll work something out eventually.

Now, every time Oz opens his mouth to defend the shady things he does, this Mfer somehow always finds the right word!. I'm starting to believe he just might be right. I mean, “no honour amongst thieves,” right? Gotham is filled with slimy criminals who would do just about anything to get ahead, and it just so happens that Oz is ahead of the curve by a mile.

I particularly loved his speech at "The Gold Summit." After that, I needed no further convincing that he’s totally him. He might be a total nut job, but I suddenly find myself rooting for him...

Another excellent episode! The gears have shifted, and I’m almost certain a huge tidal wave is coming in the next one… 🤞🏿
